Yellow Xpress Restaurant in Hounslow

We went as a family as we normally go for a buffet. Food was still good and fresh. The lady is nice as well as their other staff is friendly too. We would definitely go again to buy food to eat there as lock down won’t stop us from going there. If there’s no space to sit then take away is good too.

I travelled across Hounslow, like I have done for years, looking forward to my Favourite Chinese Buffet Box. To my surprise the Yellow Xpress Buffet is gone and is now a Chinese Takeaway. I was distraught as I genuinely felt the food here was good value and have stuffed myself here for years. Used to love trying to force as much food as possible into those small takeaway boxes lol

The traditional Chinese dishes with a very reasonable price .The lunch cost is in between 6GBP - 8 GBP. However the staff attitude is very casual.Also the hygiene is only fairly OK

I was craving for eastern meal, and this place was what was closest. Limited variety, significantly and the only vegetables dishe was not replenished at all. Mostly fried stuff which was still of ok quality. But a bit of cheating to customers by just doing away with fried stuff in a buffet meal who wants an overall meal. Plus point is soup and ice cream provided. Fried rice was ok, no white rice. Noodles, vermicelli terribly salty. I like the fried stuff like wings and chicken which are not overly salty but good crisps. Staff are nice and helpful, attentive at all times. I would visit it again if my crave emerges for eastern food again.

Chinese food in a sit down restaurant is becoming hard to find. Yellow Xpress is worth a visit as the food is good and the place very clean. The Hounslow branch has a homely feel, like a small guest house. We have visited several times, always lunchtime. There's a fair selection of dishes regularly refreshed. Don't worry about the warnings about paying before you eat. A few rotten customers have caused suspicion but the staff are fair. The price is pretty low and fixed so I don't mind paying upfront. I must look honest because I have never actually been asked to pay first. Take away boxes are excellent value and very popular although I have not had a takeaway yet.

Nice, quick chinese buffet. It is limited choice but it's ok. Staff very friendly, prices reasonable. Will be back!

Limited choice of food but what is on offer is of a high standard and very reasonsbly priced. Staff are very friendly and polite. Proper authentic chinese food. Wheelchair friendly You can either eat in or buy a box to take away and choose your own food

I stopped by a few times at this Chinese buffet restaurant and found their food to be quite tasty. The options are not so much, however, it's definitely great value for the price. I'd definitely recommend.

We visited this property and had meals from the buffet. Selection was varied and adequate. It is not a fancy place but met our needs. I was craving rice after a week of potatoes so I quite enjoyed it. It is a buffet so it might not be appeal to all comers but is good for an eastern meal.

Close to our hotel so ordered takeaway, did not enjoy. Rice was dried out, my chicken was supposed to be crispy was just a pile of sog. Boyfriend didn't enjoy his either said it tasted like it had come out of a pack.

The food presentation is very good and made the place look appealing. However on actually eating there we found the buffet food predominantly tasting of fish suggesting no cleaning of pans after food prep. Would not go again.

Very keenly priced all you can eat - £7.90 Saturday night. Most people seem use it as a takeaway - £4.50 per box. Staff very friendly. Seemed clean enough. Food ok - not a huge choice.

Yellow Xpress used to be a lot better and I'll swear by it. They still get quite a good number of customers thanks to the fact that they maintained their low prices for an authentic Chinese buffet meal (£6.50 weekday lunch!). However, today I went in and was shocked at how dramatically the food quality and service has declined. About 90% of the food out is fried and lacks any sort of flavour and the other 10% is vegetables cooked in a thick, salty and starchy sauce. You need to go up to the kitchen door to get attention for service such as topping up drinks. I only went up 3 times (filled my plate up half way each time) to try a few different things and there was too much oil, lack of flavour and overall pretty poor meal. I've been having acid reflux all afternoon and stomach pains. Safe to say I'm not going there again and I recommend you don't either.

It used to serve good food but it has gone downhill these days ! Food is terrible, too much use of tasting powder. Service never good. Not recommended any more!

La comida era muy salados, especialmente los platos de carne. Tuvimos que pedir los pinchos de pollo que solía ser en el despliegue, hace un año ( si mi memoria es correcto). Pero cuando nos dieron la orden los pinchos eran tan salada que no pude probar el pollo en sí, era el mismo para el curry de carne. La comida era demasiado salada, picante o grasienta. En caso de que no se pueda probar los otros ingredientes en los platos.

Me encanta este restaurante y la comida siempre sabe muy bien. La comida China A diferencia Real en realidad tiene ese toque chino. El ambiente es agradable y si comes en te dan sopa y helados que están incluidos en el buffet. Creo que es uno de los mejores restaurantes en Hounslow.

If this is what Chinese people eat then I'm a Chinaman. Pretty mediocre stuff. Some hot, some warm (but should be hot!) Greasy film left in the mouth. Not good.

Not memorable for being bad is the best thing I can think of. Food OK-ish Service OK-ish You won't get poisoned, but you won't remember it either. You pay, you eat, you leave.

No hay mucho que ver, pero está muy limpio, el desayuno es bastante pequeña, pero tiene mucha variedad y recipientes pequeños, así que la comida no es la izquierda ir frío o seco

Fresh food throughout the entire day at a reasonable price. Can't fault it at all, everything seems clean and efficient service all across. Really underrated

As far as Houslow goes it's not an awful place. The buffet food never changes so you know what you're getting. Serivce is basic, food is basic, it's cheap, it's what you'd expect to find in this area so It's good for a quick lunch.

Awful, foods terrible, facilities terrible, service terrible, dirty and will never ever go back.Its very poor chinese buffet, i am very realistic and a buffet is always going to be worse than a restaurant but this place is both and is awful at both functions
