We joined the team today for an afternoon tea and had a beautiful meal. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Thank you 😊. The other dishes that past us by all looked really nice and we will be returning soon for a try of other dishes. Thank you

Just returned from an amazing Afternoon Tea at the Three Fyshes. The Food was excellent especially the Scones. Unlimited Tea Pot etc. We were welcomed by Dan and Alison which was so important as this was our first visit...they then both served us continually throughout the afternoon and could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be returning soon to have either lunch or dinner as the menus look great. Thank you to you all there for our fabulous afternoon. Val and Martin

We’ve been here for lunch a couple of times now and is now one of our favourites. The choice at lunch time of sandwiches and main meals is great and one of the best in the area in terms of options. Good tasted great and portions are generous too. Staff are always so welcoming and lovely. Looking forward to coming back and hopefully for dinner soon too!

Meet girlfriends here once a month, lovely food and staff. Very busy, but you are treated as if you were the only one, not rushed

Cannot rate this highly enough, fantastic Sunday roast for the 4 of f us. Superb meats (mixed roasts x 3 plus 1 lamb shank) loads of veg and as much potatoes and gravy as we could eat! Very busy but did not affect us in any way. Lovely lunch, great food and service. Thank you.

My husband and I went for dinner here last night and had a wonderful evening. The food and service were both amazing. My husband said his steak was the best he had ever had, and my lamb shank was equally delicious. The staff, I think their names were Alison and Dan, were great, very welcoming and attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend a visit, and we will definitely be returning.

Excellent vegetarian option and meat option for a roast dinner . Delicious food, great service in a warm, cosy environment . Would highly recommend.

I didn't have the chance to eat here unfortunately, but I am sure the food is amazing. We had a few drinks, the staff were incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome. It's a beautiful venue in an amazing location. The outdoor seating is very good, with great views. It's a very dog friendly venue, so perfect spot to go if you have a good. I will visit again one day to try out the food!

Visited for a Groupon Afternoon Tea and it was first-class all round. Plentiful and varied food, all delicious, and friendly service from George. Possibly the best afternoon tea all round that we have enjoyed.

This is a wonderful country inn, the food is top tier and the prices are very good value for money. George out waiter was the epitome of brilliant, attentive, kind, warm but not overbearing. Highly recommend this place

Very slow lunch service. First time I have visited a pub and came out more thirsty than when I arrived.

This pub has a great vibe and serves up really tasty food. We had Sunday Roast and Hunters Chicken both of which were superb. These meals were faultless and came with all the necessary accompaniments. The service was great too. This was our first visit and will certainly not be our last. It comes highly recommended from us and similar to many other reviewers.

The Chicken and mushroom pizza was delicious best meal I had and chocolate fudge cake was outstanding

The restaurant and bar is absolutely gorgeous. My partner and I happened to get lucky and visited when it was lovely and sunny. Made the beer garden look beautiful next to the water. I made an error with my order but the staff were so accommodating to get it sorted for me. They even made me a new plate of chips with it too! Highly recommend

Lovely old pub with excellent food and very friendly service.

First visit last night with my sisters and brother in law. Wow! The food is amazing here and we will be back. We shared pizzas, which were some of the best we've ever had. Huge portion sizes and great quality food. Friendly service, despite being super busy, and a lovely place. Clean and welcoming. The only downside was we could not squeeze in 1 of the delicious sounding puddings! It's not often you can't find any fault with the food

Visited for afternoon tea a while ago which was lovely so thought we'd try an evening meal and we're very glad we did. The food was delicious with friendly staff and plenty of parking. Happy to recommend and look forward to returning. Thanks all 👍👍

Great pub in a lovely village. We parked up, did a 7.5k walk and then headed for a cold cider and a very tasty meal. Roast dinners were excellent, hubby ordered scampi which is actually panko breaded prawns… not quite right but still delicious… friendly and attentive young staff

Best things you can ask for in a pub: - great food (the fish and chips actually came with two pieces of fish! Hence why a bit of it is on the roast) - great service, lots of staff who are very polite, kind and attentive - superb location with free car park - great dining areas and a beautiful summer garden Definitely book as they get a bit busy. 10/10

I've always loved this pub we used to go over there from northampton in the 70s and 80s we popped in the other Sunday on the off chance but was told I had to book which is fair enough I will be back we drove into lavendon and a pub gave us a table good food aswell.

Rather an unexpected but pleasant find. Courteous and efficient staff in pleasant surroundings more expected of the West End in London than XScape in Central Milton Keynes. Beautifully presented dishes, well cooked and as requested. Wait staff polite, well presented and aware but not overbearing too. Thoroughly pleasant experience that will likely be repeated.

Lovely setting and nice olde worlde decor inside. We had an afternoon cream tea around £16 each. On the plus side there was plenty of sandwiches and cakes all of which were very tasty, plus staff were friendly. On the minus side we were made to sit in an alcove with very little room, despite there being only 2 other tables occupied. There was background music which was too loud. Overall a pleasant afternoon with a few annoyances.

Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Drinks were nice and chilled just right and got a couple of drinks as a take away. Recently had lovely new benches in the garden and very dog friendly....even a dog bar out the back 😀

Sunday lunch. Very good value. Served fresh and hot. Fresh vegetables not frozen. Lovely Yorkshire puddings. Just one thing that could be improved on. Serving spoons for the vegetables. Good car parking. Well worth a visit.

We came in for a Sunday roast this weekend, and it had to be one of the best we've had for a very long time and the best for miles around the area. It came with unlimited potatoes, and in a sharing bowl there was really creamy mash, parsnip puree, greens and carrots. And extra gravy! Meat was really tender, and it came with all the trimmings. We had puddings too, and they went down really well, service was fab and the restaurant itself is lovely. We'll definitely be back.

We went for afternoon tea today and it was lovely. The food was delicious, the customer service exceptional, all in a beautiful building. The staff were very accommodating for my fussy children. Would highly recommend afternoon tea here.

Absolutely fantastic Mothers Day meal - utterly delicious and brilliant service too! Nothing was too much trouble and the food was out of this world - lamb shank was so tender and veg delicious. Veggie curry got a massive thumbs up too. Thanks so much for giving us such a special celebration x

Excellent homemade afternoon tea

This pub came highly recommended by a friend and we’re very glad we came. Sunday lunch was excellent. Plenty of lovely hot food the whole family enjoyed. We will definitely visit again.

The perfect dog friendly village pub. Staff go above and beyond. Have been twice now and will be back. First visited with a friend on a weeknight and was cosy and quiet. Visited today for Sunday dinner and did not disappoint. Unlimited veg and roasties, reasonably priced and delicious food. A bonus that it's dog friendly in the bar area so we could still enjoy the Sunday roast and bring our dog along. Would definitely recommend. Also, be sure to book a few days in advance for Sunday dinner as we visited last minute so choices were understandably limited. Shout out to Peter who has served us both times we've visited and he's been fantastic.

Fantastic Sunday roast food was incredible and the staff were brilliant, the heating and the fire 🔥 were on lovely atmosphere near the river.

We opted for the take away option for a movie night in with the kids , food was delicious and nice and hot , delivered on time, would highly recommend and order again.

My family and I had a lovely lunch at the Three Fyshes yesterday. The lunchtime menu has lots of choice and the four of us each ordered something different. Food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This was our second visit here and the food was as good as ever. I had a steak and onion ciabatta and the steak was very tender. The accompanying salad and chips were good too. My fried had a chicken, bacon and avocado salad which looked amazing. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely coming again. Please note that there is an ample car park just a few feet down the road from the pub itself. A pub sign highlights where it is so it's easy to find.

If we had a pound for every time we have said we should pop into this pub when we drive past, we would be rich. Today, we made a special journey to visit the three fyshes, and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bar was well stocked with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. We ordered from the lunchtime menu, and the food was timely with quality ingredients used, and it was great value for money. The atmosphere during our visit was relaxing. The outdoor space would be perfect on a summer day, and we will be back.

The pub is definitely a lovely place, managed by lovely people. I would like to invite the Chef to reevaluate the afternoon tea menu, As too many cheap (thus not tasty) pastries create savoury/sweet imbalance in it. However, the scones are a delight as the clotted cream. The sandwiches are fresh and very tasty. More of them would have been appreciated... About other dishes on the menu, I tasted some and all was fresh and delicious. I will come back...

Had about 4 or 4 takeaways from here and food is spot on. Good burgers and chips. I think the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks are a bit on the pricey side though.

Wonderful place. Went for Sunday lunch and it was lovely, but asking for non pink beef, made it a little tough. Other than that the rest of the roast dinner was great. We went on a Sunday and had a bit of a wait, for the food, as we were a party of 6. It was worth the wait though! Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. The staff were attentive and we would go back again.
