Welcoming pub in quiet neighbourhood with beer garden. Nice beers, friendly service and locals. I don't know if food is served but I was able to sit outside with my fish and chips.

Great cosy pub with friendly staff and gorgeous husky dog! Came for local outdoor gig in park from up north would love to go back in future for more gigs.

Only been here a few times now but the staff are always friendly and have a smile on their face. Plenty of drink selection depending if you want something alcoholic or not. For me Aspell Cider on Draught is a winner 🙂

A fairly small pub but with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The decor is nice and unique and something different, with the selection of board games a nice little touch. Pleasant background music gives a good atmosphere even when the place is practically empty and it’s a lovely retreat - I’ll certainly be returning.

Lovely little pub. Great selection on the taps, really friendly staff. Will be a regular watering hole for me. Nice to see a dartboard also.

Best pub in town again. New owners Nick and Salv are great, as are the rest of the bar crew. Good selection of beer and spirits, good people, good local. Dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

Went to the pub for a drink and staff was very pleasant and welcoming, it’s a nice family and dog friendly pub.

Lovely little hidden gem this pub is and the new owners are really nice and friendly. If you haven’t tried it I’d definitely recommend.

Went the other night as pub has new owners great atmosphere good selection of drinks and snacks.Probably has the cleanest gents toilets I’ve ever used.Would highly recommend a visit.

Very helpful I was lost, full of people but not intimidating bar staff were helpful and welcoming. Felt at ease, had a soda water and peanuts n then left

Very expensive for Bedford. Very small pub. Regular quizzes that take place there every Monday night. Although my friends and I have been attending quizzes there for the last 18 months (!!) the staff and landlord still totally fail to acknowledge us or to show any indication of recognition.I find it to be a bit of a stuck-up, pompous place, mainly catering for the 'in-crowd' who live in the immediate neighbourhood and probably go there more regularly than the once-a-week when my friends and I attend!

A genuine small in size, huge in heart, the quintessential under dog in residential corner pubs, a hour or two here will quickly become 4 and be a home from home.

Local pub to my friend Sara, who also works there. Great Craic.

I don’t often go in pubs to be honest but my dog seems to like them and this is one of her favourites. The beer is good, the locals are friendly and they sell mini cheddars for your dog.

Great pub, friendly bar staff and locals, parking difficult but there is a car park at Bedford park about 10 minute walk, free after 18.00 hours. I think they do food but I have yet to try this.

Excellent pub with a decent choice of beers from the Wells & Young's list. Can be a bit difficult to get served when busy due to the regulars blocking the bar.

I'll admit I'm a local but this really is a lovely pub to visit if you're in Bedford. Great owners, crowd and atmosphere around, it's a real hub of the community for all things Bedford. If you're around on a Monday, take part in their quiz if you feel brave enough!

The place is really nice, the staff are wonderful and they organize the best quiz nights ever! Great fun!

This pub is absolutely wonderful. It's tucked away in prime ministers area of Bedford. They have great drinks and a massive gin selection for you gin fiends! They also serve lovely pub type food such as paninis and their pies are to die for. Always has an event on whether it be pie club, quizzes or live bands. Check it out you won't be disappointed! A++++

Nice, newly refurbished, cozy pub with a good selection of ales. Also featuring the new Charlie Well's lagers, full of flavor! A bit away from the town centre and only serving toasties to eat (plus pistachios and peanuts) but those are the only downsides

A really nice friendly pub, clean friendly and bright. Food basic, if you get it right is all you need to do, pie or toasting that's it. Well worth he visit

Visited to see a friend's band play, so full marks to the landlord for providing live music in the pub! The staff were very friendly and efficient, so there were no long waits to get served on a busy night. The range of beers was great which were complimented by a decent menu. The only problem was a lack of parking space, but a great evening none the less.

A great little place tucked away in Prime Ministers. When we come into Bedford to visit friends, this is where we head to. Great pies, excellent service and lovely atmosphere!

A family run pub with good beer, a friendly atmosphere, a good welcome, decent 'snack' food and a variety of events. A really, really good well run local.

Dropped in for a pint well known as a pub for good real ale, got a little peckish so indulged myself into one of their delicious pies. Was not disappointed it full of meat in my case chicken and ham, wanted to try chicken and chirizo but none on this day. I just had a pie but they are available in a meal also. The beer excellent the pie the same I will return for a "Pie & a Pint". Check opening times.

This is good old pub grub at its best. Fantastic atmosphere with lovely staff and very welcoming landlady who does her best to be what a local publican should be - warm, welcoming and friendly to all.

My mum and dad used to run this pub before the current managers took it over. Although I loved it when my parents ran it the current managers have completely renovated the place and it is totally different yet great. There is now more of a focus on wine and ales which is great if that's the kind of thing you like. I was apprehensive about going back to the Burnaby after my parents have it up but I am glad I did and would go back again

Have been coming to this pub on a regular basis over the last 18 months with friends who live near by. Great selection of beers and spirits, the 'pie on a plate' and toasted sandwhiches are awesome. Monthly pie night is amazing and all for a great cost. The owners are really friendly and welcoming and the random cats that appear from the garden occasionally are friendly as well!

Me and my partner love the Burnaby Arms. The landlord and lady couldn't be anymore friendly, as are the locals who go to there. There's always something new happening from pie nights, music to different seasonal cocktails. Its going to be lovely over Christmas going in for an ale or two.
