Called in for food and drinks. Which were very good. Dog friendly. Worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere with superb service.

A family birthday of 10 plus a toddler had a superb Sunday lunch with excellent customer service. My brothers worked in hospitality for over 25 years and is hard to impress said it was the best sunday lunch he'd had on years. Lots of choice, cauliflower cheese that tasted of cheese, pork belly so crisp and fat rendered perfectly. The vegan and vegetarian roasts were quality options.. All the food came out together and served hot. Wine and beer choices plentiful and catered for all tastes and purses. Staff very polite and obliging, attentive but not overbearing and accessible. We will be returning and this will be our go to option for Sunday lunch from now on. It's not local, we travelled about 35 mins to get there but well worth the drive

great home cooking, no nonsense service The new version of this restaurant is great, a different menu to most other pubs and it was expertly done, really tasty food.

Visited for the first time for Sunday lunch. The food was great. My partner had the pork belly and I had Korean chicken and flatbread, which was deliciously spicy. Great, friendly service too Would definitely recommend.

I frequent often. Best wings in town. I stick to the buffalo but there are multiple favours. Food is modern and fresh, almost like a cross between fine dining and the modern street food pop up culture, full of flavour but elevated and presented, and on a plate obviously! Lots of Asian inspired dishes. Anything on bread there is great made fresh from their pizza oven, if you like a little spice try the chicken flat bread! A*! Wide range of drinks, Oil is winner for me. Not the cheapest but by far worth it in regard to all menus there. Will be going back for the 100th time soon! All the staff are great, the owner Henry should be proud!

One of the best meals we have had in a very long time. Excellent service and a quiet atmosphere, not dead but relaxed. We had some of the best cocktails outside of London. We will definitely return, we are discussing dates already.

Popped in a few weeks ago for drinks in the garden and vowed after seeing the dishes being bought out to come back for food. 2 weeks later and we were back. The food did not disappoint. 6 of us all had different mains and no complaints at all. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We will be returning in the near future. Thank you.

Fantastic as always. Sunday roast was delicious and full of flavour.

Its a shame that when we booked and told we were outside, we were literally outside in the rain. Yes we had a cover and heater but rain was heavy and it was cold. Food was good but was cold quick due to weather. Really think they should not offer outside while weather is not so good.

Went for a birthday meal. The food was very, very tasty , deducted one star because the portions could have been a bit bigger. The service was very good , the staff were very helpful and cheerful. I will definitely be going back.

Can't fault the "shoes". Winter nights - cosy front room with an open fire. Summer - lovely garden area with great pizza. Staff friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

Chicken wings, pizza, pies, and roast are stand out items. Been a dozen times over past couple of years and will go a dozen more. Only recent item on the menu I didn’t find great is pork belly bites. They are breaded, a bit chewy, and would rather have them as pork meat in a sauce or glaze than how they have them atm. Everything else I’ve eaten there has always been delicious!

Very limited space if you just want a drink you have to use the bar, it is clearly designed towards food as the restaurant room is twice the size. Also we thought the price of drinks top end expensive, wouldn't return not for us.

Great service and food! Staff were able to squeeze us in during a really busy period between Christmas and New Year which the group of us were grateful for, food came promptly and was absolutely delicious. We'd recommend to anyone!

Lovely pub in the heart of Belbroughton. Stopped by here on return from Worcester. In a small villiage the pub had a great atmosphere, with log fires burning, staff were very friendly. Food was great, had the Korean chicken flatbread. Take nothing away from the taste and quality but damn it was hot but tasty, with a side of triple cooked chips which were great nice and crispy. Would recommend a visit

Table of 8 and each meal was both well presented & delicious. £57 for 2 courses for each couple. Alcohol was extra. Good portions on every plate. Most had turkey with all the trimmings, 2 had Cod which was perfectly cooked in a white creamy sauce with excellent green beans, peas, cabbage & delicious potatoes dauphinoise. Free parking to the back through a narrow side road. Dog friendly.

Had a wonderful first date here once and soon after fell in love. Would highly recommend this place. Cosy, friendly and warm.

Menus was a bit lacking on this occasion, many dishes not to my taste.

We all had a wonderful time. Great food ,especially the risotto, great company, superb staff where nothing was too much trouble and wonderful ambience. We loved it.

We found the menu quite limiting out of 4 people only enjoyed their meal.

I was very pleased. The food was near perfect. I would say the chicken in the chicken burger could have been a bit more softer and juicier. The pizza dough looked good. But did not have that Napoleon dough finosh that i was expecting. Really nice garden at the back. Will go here again

Food and service were excellent and a lovely pint of Butty Bach, all reasonably priced, would certainly recommend and will head back there when the occasion arises.

Staying locally, had a lovely evening in the covered courtyard garden , great food; haddock and chips, brisket ‘cottage pie’ with apple/rhubarb crumble with custard for dessert. Service excellent especially having to deliver service in torrential downpours, thunder and lightning! Also very dog friendly…best to book as a popular pub to visit. Highly recommend

We just had drinks, but this is a lovely old village pub that's maintained its character - not a given with so many places that look great on the outside but are stripped down inside. The outside area is one of the greatest I've seen, with sheltered areas out of the sun/rain. Really friendly people working there too.

Had an excellent meal here, with great company. The pub is a lovely traditional old style place and apart form being updated for modern tastes hasn't changed much in decades. The building itself is the same as its always been and that just adds to the ambience. The menu is excellent with some unique touches. We all had the curried goat scotch egg which, as expected, was freshly cooked and came with a slightly running yolk. It was excellent and definitely one I would recommend trying. The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely be going back.

Gorgeous restaurant and pub. The pub wasn’t overrun with tables meaning the atmosphere was intimate and service was attentive. We ordered the buffalo wings (definitely worth the hype) and the steak which was cooked beautifully. Would definitely return!

With no intention of staying for lunch but merely having a drink we popped in here this lunchtime. The pub is of an old character with a modern twist, ie. Television with the rugby on ( with no sound). The food was superb, my husband had steak & kidney pie, with chive mash, roasted carrot and a carrot and parsnip purée, with plenty of tasty gravy. Followed by apple & pear crumble with delicious custard. I had the buffalo chicken wings, served with celery, blue cheese dip and the same pud. Delicious 😋. The service was excellent and we were asked if our food was ok with each dish served. Not long to wait for food ( we were very hungry). Good choice of drinks too. Thoroughly recommend. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Guiting Power was such a pretty little village and the warm welcome we recieved at this busy pub was wonderful. We only had a sandwich but it was delicious.

Very disappointed with the food. Had a fantastic meal for my birthday in September and recommended it to friends who really enjoyed their meal in October. The prawn starter was over spiced. I ordered the monkfish curry which myself and at least two others in our party found almost inedible. Luckily the monkfish was placed on top of the curry and not in the sauce so we were able to eat that. No-one came to check whether everything was OK with our food or asked why we had left most of our food. We were part of a birthday party and were being treated to the food so didn't want to upset our hosts by making a fuss.

Over £9.00 for a pint and a soft drink! Rather steep!! Place looked great and the food smelled lovely. Staff seemed a tad on the grumpy / stressed side.

My favourite place for dinner and drinks anytime !! Wether it’s a quiet meal for 2 or a party for 12 + these guys are the best ! Fabulous customer service, fabulous food and a great atmosphere here. Anytime of year is a good time to visit. Winter it’s warm and cosy and summer is cool and comfortable in the garden. The menu is great - we’ve pretty much tried everything - the pizzas are awesome - as are the Sunday lunches. The chicken wings and bhajis a firm favourite with everyone and the vegan dishes are delicious too. The wines are nice too 😝 All in all a great place to go. A huge thank you to Henry and his team for always looking after us. Excellent service always with a real personal touch. 5 star all round.

Upstairs room with big table was ideal for our family Xmas get together. Service was very friendly and she got everything right. The food was delicious. Pub has a good vibe but the entrance matting needs attention because of the heavy usage. LOL.

Only stopped for a couple of drinks but good choice and friendly staff. Outside heated are with blankets made it so cosy.

We stopped In on the way home from our trip to the safari park and my goodness it was amazing! The ambience was absolutely perfect, great choice of beers, wines and cocktails. Food was actually to die for but above all the service was impeccable! Jessica a waitress was so welcoming, warm and friendly she actually made our day! Guys we can't wait to come back. To sum up our visit I would use the word perfection. If you do not visit the horseshoe then it will be to your loss! Thank you so much

Great little country pub. Popped in here after visiting Clint Hills and the food and service was great! Jess was exceptional and went above and beyond, her customer service was great. We opted for the Sunday roast and was not disappointed but will certainly be returning to try one of their pizzas as they looked amazing!

Lovely traditional pub. Good ale, attentive service. Quality high end pub food. If I was going to be picky... The window sills need a wiping off... Lol. Do that for next time I'll give 5 stars! ;)
