Had the Thai salmon curry. Tasty, but minuscule potion, especially the salmon. On the upside, very helpful and amiable staff, spotless loo.

If you order the beef and rice, just plan on going to uni the next day and having to leave to violently projectile vomit from food poisoning as they obviously don’t keep their food at proper temps and reheat old food. Beware!

I ordered the broccoli beef stir fry that came with white rice when I went here with my boyfriend and his parents. The white rice was the only thing I ate that they all did not. This morning, I projectile vomited for hours and haven’t been able to stomach anything even water. I learned that white rice can grow bacteria that causes severe food poisoning when: left out for over an hour or two, when not kept hot and then reheated throughout the day, when not cooked at a high enough temp, etc. The food here is not fresh! Be careful and avoid the rice at all costs!!! Better yet, go somewhere else to avoid spending a day sick by the toilet with food poisoning.

It’s a nice pub, but they did last call at 11p and kicked us out at 11.20 and refused to give us even a plastic glass to carry our drink at 11.20. By the time they served us we had less than 10m to drink our beers and they were angry at us for asking for plastic cups to finish our drinks!

Very good restaurant, in a very charming area of ​​London. On the menu we find typical English or Thai dishes. The food is good, the place is small and cozy. I recommend.

Fresh, tasty meal with large portions, great service, good prices, fun location, nice vibe. Loved that the pad see ew was more savory than sweet and the tofu had a spongy texture, not the crispy outside, soft on inside. The Tom Kah veggies seemed like they were straight from the garden and it was spiced to enjoy the dish.

Had red curry with duck for dinner. Curry was very good, fried rice was just ok. Prices not bad. Bar downstate as very busy but restaurant was dead at 845.

Had a Thai meal upstairs here- good quality food, relaxed ambience. Hard to believe you're in such a frenetic area. Prices ok. Tried to book and got no response so just showed up- would be easier to just get instant confirmation via the website.

It’s good to know that some of these good old English pubs still exist in London. A good pint was all we had but next time might have some food. Lovely place for people watching right on the corner

Good cold and well served pints of beer. The atmosphere was fine, typical Friday after office vibe. The service was a real let down, with some of the waiting staff looking way more judgy than hospitable.

This was a good meal. We had bangers and mash and steak and ale pie and a couple of good IPAs. The steak and ale pie wasn’t actually a pie but a bowl of the steak with the flaky bit on the top.

Went there today with a friend as always after work , we got the beers and been told by manager that because i had a construction tshirt on and safety boots , we had to drink outside only , and the way he said was very very rude

Very disappointing on the Thai restaurant. Portions shrunk noticeably since last year. The sweet and sour pork special for GBP 14 has 8 small bits of pork, and is mediocre. The pad thai is passable, but seems to have declined.

I have been to Thailand many times and have eaten great Thai food all over the world. This would have to be the worst Thai food I have ever encountered. I can’t say eaten because it was inedible. The “chef” was not Thai and had absolutely no idea. It is a restaurant to be avoided at all cost.

Good hangout pub at a very good location. Went to hangout with colleagues. It was ok. Quite a popular one, it was a bit crowded on a summer Wednesday.

A super pub in Shepherd Market. Plenty of outside space to drink outside, so particularly suits when the weather is dry.

Ordered a bacon and cheese panini that had virtually no cheese and just one rasher of bacon. Maybe that's why it was £8.50? Disappointing

They close at 10:30pm on Sundays according to google and have a sign that states 9:15pm is the last order but the host was extremely rude and turned our party away at 8:30pm.

I've visited Ye Grapes on the odd occasion over many decades. It's a small, quiet and cosy establishment. An okay selection of beers, not many though. I've never eaten upstairs in the Thai restaurant. Pub 3 of the Monopoly tour. I thought £7.10 for an 4.3% IPA was expensive .

Lousy service. Gave my wife a can. Didn’t offer a glass or ice. Couldn’t understand my English language. Not at all welcoming

Decent place for a pint and a burger

If the staff cracked a smile this might get two stars. No friendly greeting on arrival and you could visibly see staff rolling their eyes when approaching customers. Having just moved my business into this area I can't see it being a recommended regular haunt for my staff, pity really as it looks quite nice from the outside.

An old favourite in Shepherds Market. Lively atmosphere and great service. Surprisingly good food that was unexpected. It may appear a little dated internally but this should not detract from the overall experience.

Amazing Thai food. Didn't sit in the pub downstairs. Use the upstairs restaurant for dining. Very cozy and calm. Ordered massaman curry with salmon ... So good. Yummy seared salmon with skin on +side of fried rice and curry is the way to go!

Today, the workers have been extremely rude with us. We live in the area and have been multiple times, the minimum I would expect is to be spoken to kindly and respectfully. Rather than shouted at. It’s unbelievable that the management allows this kind of behaviour.

Very ordinary. Staff are efficient and friendly but the pub offers nothing as a USP. Happy to be there but best described as a watering hole.

Mediocre fish & chips. Maybe Sunday evening the wrong time, but reasonably busy. Ate in bar area. Dreary. Fish nicely battered, but very wet, slimy, and scalding hot. Microwaved, not dried, then deep fried maybe? Disappointing. Miserable barman.

We came here to meet up with friends we all sat at the back of the pub very cosy. We both had Cheese Burger & chips which was delicious so moist must come again .

Been coming every year for 5 years, it's sometimes brilliant, sometimes not so much. Tonight was very lovely, always good atmosphere outside with the drunk blue suits 😅

Just arrived in London. We ventured into Ye Grape for a needed ‘pint’. Being also hungry we decided to try the ‘Thai Food’ on the menu . It was surprisingly good; I mean thai food in an English pub?!. 4 days later after having excellent meals in other Shepherds Market restaurants (strongly suggest this Mayfair area) we decide to try a typical ‘English lamb roast’ Ye Grape was serving. Horrible experience. The Yorkshire pudding was not edible. You couldn’t even cut the rubbery popover looking thing they served. The lamb was muttonish, thin and chewy with plenty of gristle. The gravy sauce tasted like it come from the roast beef. A few carrots and peas floating on the gravy. A Frankenstein plate indeed. I can only say is that they should feel ashamed for serving food that was piecemealed together.

Mayfair's most dog friendly pub. Also good on beers, wines, pub and Thai food. Nearly always visit when in London. Staff are very attentive and happily provide dog water dogs without having to ask. Clientele can be quirky.

Nice place selling English and Thai food. The udon is quite nice, though serving is on the smaller side compared to most places in London.

It would have been okay for pub fare if the waitress hadn’t knocked a beer over onto my friend’s food so that it was swimming in beer and then seemed put out when my friend confirmed that it has gotten on her food. Then she brought out our food and gave my vegetarian tofu dish to my other friend and said “this is the chicken” my friend ate most of it without saying anything because he didn’t know what tofu tasted like. When they finally brought his chicken dish out 20 mins later and I said that wasn’t what I ordered the waitress seemed very annoyed, took them away. And the manager brought me another but neither the manager or the waitress apologised to any of us and they all seemed really annoyed with us. To add insult to injury the food wasn’t good anyway. And the atmosphere wasn’t much better .

Dentro de la zona de Mayfair hay mucho sitio engordado de precio y algo pijo, con lo que es una opción más asequible por ese área. Tiene arriba un restaurante en el que se puede alternar comida de pub con comida tailandesa. Optamos por la tailandesa y no es muy allá. El servicio algo lento y el precio pues lo dicho. Correcto.

Completely ripped me off. Ordered 1 pint and paid by card. Was told the payment hadn't gone through (even though a receipt was printed) . Put my card in again with the pin number. When I checked at home I had been charged twice! Would never go here again!

From the moment our group of eight walked in the Thai restaurant upstairs, we felt unwelcomed. The lack of a warm greeting or any acknowledgment was quite off-putting. To our surprise, the first thing we were informed of was that each person had to order a main dish, even if someone only wanted an appetizer or "chips." This strict policy was enforced without any flexibility, which seemed unnecessary and rigid. Given our hunger and the limited options nearby, we reluctantly decided to stay despite the rude welcome. The service throughout our meal was lackluster. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It felt as though our presence inconvenienced them.

Iconic pub located in the heart of Mayfair. Visited on an empty Monday and had a great pint with a friend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great selection of drinks, beers, cocktails etc all what you would expect from a good pub. The food menu was quite extensive too with a great Thai menu by the looks of it.
