so we came here to eat the sunday roast and made a reservation to be sure to have it, but when we arrived and ordered they told us that it was all finished and it was barely 7.30 pm. so we had to order something else and waited more than half an hour for it but the pie was very delicious, as well as the sticky toffee pudding. the service was practically non present since we had to get our own drink and set our own table. the atmosphere although is typical but you must beware of pickpockets as a lady in the local told us.

Guinness was not the best. Asked to charge my phone behind the bar 'company policy is sorry no, but you can hire a power bank from the machine by pool table'. The charge appears to be 2.00 ( plus a 25quid deposit). BUT thats only for 30mins.... I got whacked with a 12quid charge. But the kicker was the table beside me, were getting their phones charged behind the bar..... Sadly this Phoenix wont by rising in my eyes, from the ashes.....

English style pub, great beer, really good traditional English food, kind and fast waitresses. Recommended for anyone who wants to spend a classic English evening in company!

Part of our party ordered food and drink. The last person in our party went to order and they said the kitchen was closed. They wouldn’t let her order any food. They said their kitchen cannot handle another order! Cook came out to check on us and was extremely surprised to hear we had all eaten but one of our orders still hasn’t come out… he didn’t know the order was even put in!

We had a great time her together, having some drinks, while the children were away. The atmosphere is relaxed and the place is cozy. The people are nice and we spent a good afternoon here.

Central London prices for pints do apply, but the staff here makes up for it by being both personable and fast. I have been coming here for months as competitors are inferior for lack of fun vibe. I love coming here for the big games as they have a projector and 5 other TVs. Best for live sports in the area, especially football. I think they do poker nights a couple times a week, and they have a pool table too. Quickly becoming my local. Please be nice to the staff, people tend to be aggressive during sporting events in England. A real great hangout for those that are happy to share the space.

I went on with my girlfriend for dinner. We ordered karaage sticky chicken, chicken dumplings, katsu chicken burger. Trust me it was so much tastier.. and the ambiance of the pub was amazing. I will suggest anyone to visit the pub. The staffs were so friendly that we will not feel any uncomfortable.

I went there with my friends for a lunch and we really had an amazing time some drinks and the food was of great value and they are dog friendly as well we watched football and enjoyed alot.

I went with my friends to the game on Sunday and the truth is that the service was impeccable with a good cold beer and very attentive girls in charge. I also recommend the 3-dish pack to share, a very pleasant time to be with family and friends.

The Phoenix is hands down my favorite spot for a weekend pint. The space is amazing – cozy, welcoming, and always buzzing with a great atmosphere. The staff here are absolutely fantastic: super friendly, always polite, and they go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. One of the highlights for me is how dog-friendly they are. Whether I’m enjoying a pint alone with my dog or catching up with friends, the staff always make a point to offer my pup a treat, which is such a thoughtful touch. This pub truly has it all – great vibes, lovely staff, and a warm, inviting environment. I can’t recommend it enough! If you’re looking for a place to unwind, this is the spot.

Place frequented by young people in a quiet area, relaxed atmosphere, presence of a pool table and TV which broadcast the very popular international football matches. Very good food, excellent beer, generally cheaper prices than local pubs.

Pub in the bayswater area. Very nice, with the billiards. We took two starters to share. Good and well stocked with beers. If you are in the area we recommend it.

Nice place. One of the only pubs I've been to that has a pool table. Just a pity that the barstaff wanted to talk on her phone instead of listening to my order that she got wrong.

I may be biased as it's my local, but with many other options in the area, this is the one I keep going back to. Staff are always friendly, and the food is top notch for pub grub.

We were sent here by the landlord of the Bayswater Arms, where the kitchen was closed. The first impression wasn't that great: shabby furniture, the landlord was only busy with his cell phone and overall not as cozy as other pubs. But the food more than made up for it - very tasty!

There were 10 of us, including 4 children, who arrived and were very well received. We also ate very well (Burger, Fish&Chips, sharing plates, salad), the service was impeccable and smiling, the atmosphere was that of a match night!

Greetings to all. I've been to the different Green King Pubs. For example the in Victoria and Mayfair. In as much as the staff were good there, in my humble opinion this is the best one by a mile, from the outstanding hard working stuff to the quirky little details about the past history of the local place and not forgetting the food. I highly recommend to anyone look for good British food and a good old drink.

Super nice little pub, I would like to thank Anna again who was very nice but above all patient despite the language barrier. We had traditional dishes and we ate really well, the dishes were plentiful and tasty. Prices are correct.

This is a lovely pub, bright and airy with lovely seating. Excellent selection of beers and wines. I love the small plates which are outstanding value at £16.50 for three plates. Spicy Chicken Karaage is my favourite, which I had with crispy squid and flatbread with hummus. Phoenix is a glorious pub where you can lose yourself for hours with the paper, beautiful food and drink, as well as with friends.

Perhaps it was an off night. It was a nice place inside and the food was good, although not as good as anywhere else we've been on our visit to London. But the staff wasn't very friendly. They show Cheers on TV here a lot. It had the feel of Norm running the bar and Carla bartending, is the best way I can explain it. ADDENDUM: No, they don't show Cheers on TV at this bar. They have the attitude of Carla, as you can see by their response.

Archie the manager very rude , very confrontational not sure if we’ve caught him on a bad day but wont be returning. Was also accused of kicking someone’s chair when cctv was checked no such incident was found to of happened.

Very cozy place, with great food and delicious cold drinks. We visited here every night while we were there and had a few drinks.

Excellent spot for a pint or a pub dinner. Plenty of televisions for the games. Wait staff is fantastic, the bar tender was attentive, quick and knowledgeable. Standard pub fare done very well.

Not impressed. Staff not particularly pleasant. Decor not so welcoming. Ordered drinks & a few side dishes. Cheesy garlic bread came without cheese. So plate was taken back and returned with a teaspoon of cheese sprinkled on top of same bread and melted by microwave which made bread soggy. ! Coleslaw was awful. Only nice thing was the sweet potatoe fries.

Great spot for a drink and some food. Had the steak ale pie and was very impressed. Had a few drinks while waiting for others and they had a good selection of beers on tap. Recommend a stop if you're looking for food or a drink. Food and a beer was around 20 pounds depending on what you get.

On their website it showed they had an entire gluten free menu, however when we arrived we learn that there was no such thing. This is detrimental for people with celiac disease, which we had in our group. They also did not list what drinks were not available, and there were plenty. Drinks were the only good thing here. If you are American you will not like the steak. It had absolutely no seasoning and was terribly hard to cut. Essentially because all they had was a butter knife.

I would like to thank the manager Anna for the outstanding service provided. The food was excellent and the service perfect . My meeting went great thanks the cheerful Anna and her staff. I shall recommend this beautiful pub to my friends and colleagues. Once more many thanks Anna for making our lunch so agreeable.

Good food and beer and got to watch some sports with teen kids. We had garden salad, steak, chicken wings, and mac n cheese. All enjoyed!

100 m from the noise of Queensway, the Phoenix, Moscow Road W2 couldn't have been more different than the chaos we left in search of a good second pint. Nice sofas and a few tables outside, the pub deserved more punters than it had when we visited. Very nice. Wish we had tried the food so no review. Apparently dog friendly too.

Very nice pub near our hotel. Friendly service, great cider on tap (Aspall, hadn't known it), a small setting area outside, very comfortable for hanging around in the evening. Did not try the food, so I cannot say anything about that.

Visitor to the area from the US. It had a really nice, quiet, and relaxed vibe. Loved the different seating options, including benches and armchairs. Great beers on tap and the bartenders were very nice!

I visited during my trip to London because I wanted to watch the Champions League and have a beer in a local atmosphere. It was near the Airbnb accommodation, and there were beam projectors, TVs, and even small monitors in all directions, so it was great to watch soccer! There were a lot of reserved seats and many customers were seated in advance, so we had fun watching soccer while drinking Guinness beer while standing at the bar. If you want to sit down and watch, go early! Recommended!

The Phoenix is an extremely great place to dine and drink, the food is extremely mouthwatering The staff are very friendly and respectful and polite, they make you feel special.

It has changed a lot in the last 5 years, not as clean as it use to be, I get there is wear and tear but a good clean is needed especially on the chairs! Customer Service is good.

v disappointed w service today in this place - i asked about NHS discount was told ‘ have you got the app? - i said which? ‘barman: I dont know I dont work for NHS’ I also had a voucher from Jamesonwhich same barman didnt accept saying have you got a QR Code? I said no thats the email i got sent it has a code number theres no QR code w it ‘ Sorry I need the QR Code’ also was difficult to get salt and vinegar- only one at a time seems to be permissible

The Phoenix Pub is a great atmosphere and very friendly atmosphere. Great beers, pool table and the managers are professional and always ready to help you in food or drinks suggestion.

Phoenix is my local pub, and we have been going there now weekly for around two years .. we met some amazing people there and there is pool table and we play poker on Mondays. Anna -the manager is really lovely and very helpful- whenever I have any requests she helps out and I see that she leads her team to do the same. It’s a pleasure to live in the area and you know you are going somewhere nearby and they ll welcome you as Anna and her team does. Thank you

Very cozy establishment with dynamic vibes inside. They often play the football and boxing which brings an energetic buzz. Food is great and staff are very accommodating. Pool table at the rear always has an atmosphere. Highly recommend.
