Went for drinks, but service was very slow and table for 2 was crammed in way too close to the next table.

Food was very good. Their own-made bread is delicious

Estuve residiendo en el hotel The Marylebone desde el 24 hasta el día 30 de octubre de 2024. Y pude disfrutar del desayuno en la 108 Brasserie cada mañana. Quiero dejar constancia de lo me encontré en este restaurante. Desde el primer momento, la atención fue excelente por parte de todos los empleados, desde la señorita que nos recibía, desconozco su nombre pero recuerdo su piercing en la nariz, hasta el resto del personal. La comida era variada, de excelente calidad y simplemente exquisita. En cuanto al personal de los camareros, quiero mencionar especialmente a Gaetano y Beata, un “matrimonio muy bien avenido” que nos reconocía ya desde el segundo día atendiéndonos con celeridad, gran simpatía y nos acogieron con perfecta profesionalidad. Que puedo deciros ? Son profesionales comprometidos con la excelencia de su trabajo y honoran su puesto de trabajo. No me cuesta nada hacer esta review porque para mí, contribuyeron a que mi estancia en mi querida Londres fuera como siempre inolvidable. Gracias a todos y especialmente a Gaetano y Beata.

Excellent service and good food, perhaps a little overpriced.

As part of our stay in the Marylebone Hotel we dined in the Brasserie 108 for breakfast and in the evening. The service was excellent, especially Beata at breakfast she was friendly, attentive and nothing was a problem to order. The food was lovely and perfectly prepared and presented.

3rd time, and on my plans for a 4th! Love... ...It.

I went to 108 Brasserie with my girlfriend for lunch on Wednesday. We have been to this restaurant several times and love the drinks list and menu. Beata is one of the waitresses there who looked after us nicely. She is very professional, friendly, and always smiling. We are certainly looking forward to coming back to 108 in the near future. We would like to recommend this place for its great ambience and excellent food. With thanks!

Shame this is a nice looking venue but the food and service let it down. Went in Sunday early evening, I went for the roast beef and Mrs went for chicken. Initially service was good, waiter very friendly and drinks came quickly. Then the food came and things went down hill from there. Beef was obviously from a quality producer, lovely and rare, the chicken also was good but the potatoes were greasy, rock hard on the outside and cold . I am sure they were delicious around 1pm but not 6 hours later. I never understand why chefs think they can get away with flashing already cooked roast potatoes in a deep fat fryer! They just harden and taste of fat. If you gonna serve lunch time roasts into evening then why not have a bank of air fryers, I can do lovely roasties in 18 minutes. Then there was the gravy, they serve it in tots, so I asked for more, half way finished, still no gravy so I had to ask again. Then near the end of the meal 2 boats of it turned up, why not just send out one boat at the start! There was also the 2nd Guinness I ordered that never arrived that they managed to charge me for. All in all a very poor experience I would definitely avoid this place.

Loved the ambiance and our cocktails were great! Unfortunately the outdoor front of house was very rude. We knew before we came that you can not reserve the tables outside. When we asked for a table she looked left and she looked right and very rudely said ‘no’. So we asked about the free table and the table that was being freed up. She then said ‘I will give it to you for an hour, and that is it!’. Her tone was incredibly abrasive and condescending. It was very shocking.

Came here for pre-drinks with 2 friends of mine before heading to a birthday party so we were all dressed up - we were 3 girls in total. We were told by the manager that there was no table of 3 when we could see a lot of tables of 2 with empty seats which could easily made up a table of 3. However, nothing was possible at this place with reasons such as you would sit too close to other guests, you would block the walk way and so on. When asked to sit outside, the manager said they would close in 20 mins, so that would be 10:20pm when the actual opening hours is midnight and my friend who is local has been here multiple times sitting outside until 11pm. We asked one of the staff why would it close at 10:20pm when it normally closes at 11pm, his response was “I only did what my manager said” then he kindly redirected us to the hotel bar which is much nicer. I’m very disappointed by the treatment of the manager who was not very accommodating when the place was not busy at all. I would not recommend this place to anybody because it would ruin your night.

Third visit to 108 Brasserie, which is part of The Marylebone Hotel. Restaurant was busy, probably because it was a Saturday evening, but service and food were excellent. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection and almost melted in your mouth. Crème Brûlée which was cooked just right, with a crisp caramelised top and a delicious creamy base. Highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner or a business lunch

Feels like a very upscale pub (sorry) but the food and drink were very good indeed. Extremely expensive for what it is though.

Great if you can get a table on the terrace on a sunny day as i did on Saturday. The snacks/sandwiches are fresh, made with quality ingredients and well presented. This is a great spot for people watching but don't get overly comfortable as they are a little precious about the terrace tables and you get an hour max!

So glad I've stumbled upon this place. Great steak, really nice atmosphere, the service is incredible. Nicely priced for the area. Definitely will recommend this place as a brasserie.

The best jazz brunch in London! An incredible starter buffet featuring salads, oysters, cheese boards, and cold cuts, followed by your choice of a main course from the à la carte menu. The dessert buffet is equally stunning. Every bite was fantastic, the live music was great, and the wine and champagne were superb. I’d definitely return!

Wonderful dinner at 108 with friends over from Canada. Our waitress Anna was excellent and gave a brilliant wine recommendation and fantastic overall service. All of the food from, the Penang curry, to the Miso blackened cod was excellent, but all agreed the steak tartare starter was the gold medal winner! Great night 😃

We had breakfast and dinner here and it was an great experience on both occasions. The food is excellent and the staff are brilliant. Beata was our waitress and she was fantastic. So attentive, helpful and had a great sense of humour too. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend it.

Welcoming and top service at this bar/restaurant which we later understood was a 5 star hotel. The ambience exudes luxury, but being able to walk in without reservation made it very special to us as we like finding places without always booking and feeling our way to a place. So this was just right! The best Pina Colada I've had! Super tasty and knowledgeable waiter. Thank you! This is not cheap though, you pay for quality food, drink and service. Worth it!

Visited for dinner - the service is outstanding. Sat outside and had the Sunday roast - a condensed, but plentiful Sunday menu - both the beef, and the salmon, were delicious, perfectly cooked food with extremely attentive and friendly service throughout. Highly recommended and would certainly visit again.

We would definitely come back again. We had such a wonderful time for my other half’s birthday. The food was amazing, the service was great. And the atmosphere was perfect. Thankyou for such a wonderful evening.

Booked for lunch by our son who works around the corner. With a gorgeous weather yesterday we were lucky to get a table outside. Staff were friendly and professional. Quick service too. Food was served in good timing and my request for extra spicy in the king prawn curry was fulfilled. The oysters as starter and the crème caramel desserts gets a thumbs up too. Next time I’ll try the crème brûlée.

A beautiful place with beautiful taste, worth a visit

“I’m not a mind reader darling” were the exact words of the front desk woman. If it’s a group of 5 of you, you have to propose by yourself a solution to get 2 tables one for 3 and one for 2. We asked a table for 5 people at the outside seated area. The hostess told us the only solution she has is to sit inside. Bear in mind there are available tables. We left and after 2 minutes came back and asked if we could have 2 tables. She said that would be possible but doesn’t have a table now. When we told her that that’s a shame cause 2’ ago there were available tables she said “you left” and we replied yes because we were not offered a soloution. Then she said that she is not a mind reader. Definitely not but she is arrogant, with attitude, non apologetic, and not what a hostess should be like.

Been here many times for drinks and decided to go for light food this time. Ordered basic like Caesar salad with chicken and burrata. It was so average for what it was and price is insanely high given that portion was ok and lacked of good seasonings. Especially for burrata. Not worth the money at least for those dishes.. 👎🏼 Likely to come back but for drinks only.

I had the opportunity to enjoy my Saturday dinner here, and I cannot recommend this place enough. Sitting outside, I opted for the Catch of the Day and the marvelous Mirabeau Pure Rosé wine. If you do lunches with your clients, friends, or loved ones, this is a great place to go. I will definitely be back!

Have been here several times with friends, loved ones, colleagues, clients and more not just for dinner but also for meetings over tea and getting sloshed in seductively sophisticated style on special occasions! I can unreservedly state that this is one of the finest places to eat, creating a great balance between relaxed, tasteful elegance and food that is consistently good in quality, presentation and satisfaction levels! Particular favourites would be the ample, organic salmon fillet and the chocolate fondant for ending your meal with something so memorable and varied in flavours that you will leave with a broad smile of sated delight on your face.. Everybody is lovely in 108 from the girls on the front desk to the waiters and waitresses on the floor. Must make a mention of the lovely and efficient, Bruna, who served us last time for embodying every virtue that 108 embraces. Managers are often funny, not stuffy in the slightest, unfailingly professional and helpful, too.. I can't recommend this place enough for business meetings, social evenings or just for people watching and the charming comfort of the place, as well...

We recently had sunday lunch at 108 brasserie. The food was excellent, and they delivered a traditional Sunday Lunch perfectly. Lovely restaurant, it is well worth a visit.

Black cod is highly recommended. I like good old hamburger served here. Bartenders are very good and professional.

The cocktails were great, and that’s where it ends. Food selection was sad, the dishes themselves- mediocre, service was slow, though the waitress did try and make it up to us at the end (that is the only reason for the third star). But I wouldn’t come here because of the food - there’s no saving it: risotto was overcooked rice, not even of risotto variety, caesar was swimming in the sauce and my office canteen makes a better chicken, as does Tesco, and the rest of the menu was the same.. Also, did I mention it’s expensive?

We spent 5 days vacation at the Marylebone Hotel. Including breakfast at the hotels restaurant and a dinner. The food is excellent and the staff, especially Liz and Wilhelmina at breakfast and Aleks at dinner were wonderful, friendly and professional. The hotel is situated in a good neighborhood close to many attractions and with a very good restaurant.

Loved this place, it was quiet but really comfortable. Stylish but cosy. The service was impeccable, but the food was bordering on mediocre for the huge price tag. I had chicken Milanese with fries. For around £36 (for just the main), I expect an absolutely perfectly cooked meal.. unfortunately the chicken was rather dry, with disappointing flavour. My friend had the gnocchi, but left most of it as it was too stodgy. Side note: Oddly, they serve toast as side for the gnocchi, whereas a fresh salad would be better?

Had a very good black cod here and the service from an Argentinian waitress , which sadly i didnt catch her name, was flawless. Thank you

I love this neighbourhood - I was here last year and have revisited. We were served by the same server, Liz (which rarely happens in big cities these days and she even remembered us from before) who was great. Perfect for a quick lunch, really feels like a little piece of calm in such a busy place!

Delicious breakfast that we had this morning with our children, Gaetano was really professional and kind to us. I highly recommend spending a night in this beautiful hotel and enjoying the wonderful Irish breakfast.

If the food is great but the service is just ok OR if the service is great and the food is just OK, it doesn't get my attention. This restaurant has both in spades! Beata served us and was just plain wonderful; full of kind energy, great smile, and really cared about us. My wife had marinated Cod, simply excellent. I had one of my all time favorites, steak tartar, amazing, some of the best I have had in years. Did I mention the Caesar salad? Also very very good. If you are in the neighborhood, perhaps attending a performance at Wigmore Hall, make Beata and 108 Brasserie a MUST go to. Everything was terrific from walking into 108, to leaving. The staff are phenomenal. Grace made our stay particularly enjoyable and the chef accommodated my food allergies beautifully. 108 truly embodies the meaning of hospitality. Thank you for making our evening exceptional.

We stopped here for tea/coffee as we were in the area. I can't praise it enough. The inside feels spacious and light. Beautifully decorated. We received wonderful service from Liz. My daughter had an ice cream whilst my husband and I had hot drinks. A really generous and delicious scoop of ice cream. Liz even brought a colouring book for my daughter which was kind given that we were only there for a short while. We'll be back for a meal and are pleased to have accidently discovered this restaurant.

We were literally stuck in London as our flight to Cork got cancelled and we were after an 18 hour direct flight from Perth. We decided the best way to beat the jet lag was to head into London. When we started to flag we went into 108 Brasserie in Marylebone and were so well looked after by Liz with food and drinks but also the papers and we sat and recharged . Lovely spot , lovely food really friendly staff would highly recommend. Ciara

Went for a dinner to 108 Brasserie. Everything was amazing From the receptionist taking us to our table to the food. Service was the major highlight. A big thank you to Caitilin for taking great care of us with her great energy and professionalism. Felt like she knew us for years with her friendly nature.

Great from start to finish. The staff member welcoming us made us feel welcome straight away. Waiter took his time and explained things we had questions about. Left us time for some pre drinks and was good at interacting throughout the meal. Drinks were great, meal was excellent and the pricing was fair considering the quality. I will definetly be back!

From the moment we entered 108 Brasserie we were treated to excellence. The hostess conversed with us like we were regulars. She seated us at a cozy table for two and asked to check our coats - when was the last time that happened - anywhere? Our waiter, Luis Matias, was gracious and attentive to us. He was so genial that I had to ask his name by meal’s end - he was no longer a stranger. Our meals, organic roasted salmon with fresh asparagus for me and black cod with miso and morning glories for my partner, were exceptional. Kudus to the chef. Kudos also to Luis for suggesting our fabulous desserts.

Loved this hotel! What a beautiful property! Every inch and corner to admire! We had a lovely breakfast, the service by Liz was wonderful. She took care of uscand especially my little ones. Croissants are 5/5!

Really poor service today at Sunday lunch, with little attention to detail. Worst Yorkshire puddings I’ve ever been served (and cold), wrong drinks bought to table, had to ask multiple times for cutlery. I wouldn’t recommend, you’ll find a much better roast elsewhere… and much cheaper. Don’t bother!

I will not say that’s a great experience. The food was good but the service wasn’t amazing. The waiter who served us at the beginning was nice, but the manager and the bartender were a bit aggressive and not responsive. I will not go back again. There’s some more amazing restaurants in town.

Both starter and main was tasteless and expensive. Also, there were so many empty tables and quiet spaces available that looked unreserved and I was placed next to a crowded, noisy family until I asked them to move me. Glad they could do that. But the food and cost for something so bland... there are better restaurants nearby.
