I was here yesterday and when I ordered the soup, unfortunately I found a large shard of glass halfway through eating. A bit of a scary moment, I was glad I caught it before accidentally eating it. I was a bit disappointed with the staff’s reaction as when I notified the bartender, no one else came to check in on us to check the situation until a while later when I had to ask again. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I can’t help but think that if there was broken glass in mine, the rest of the glass might be in someone else’s food too.

A pleasant surprise, we came here because it was in front of the hotel and it inspired us straight away and in fact, it did not disappoint expectations. We took one dish each: two starters, a cesear salad and a risotto, 4 beers and two coffees. We spent £20 each and the waitress was really friendly and kind. Keep it up! Thank you ☺️

Une jolie salle, bien décorée et un serveur super sympa vous y attendent. Belle carte. Won a Silent Pool Aroma Masterclass and was a fantastic evening, busy lively pub with really good and friendly staff, if in the area, go in and have a drink. Next time we shall try the food

Debí haber revisado antes, pero solo tenía que dejar que la gente sepa la gran experiencia que tuve, 2 noches consecutivas, a mediados de febrero. Un poco al azar, pero listada en el Windermere, donde me alojaba. Acababan de cambiar su menú y todo estaba delicioso! ¡La ensalada de achicoria era tan inesperadamente sabrosa! Regresé una segunda noche y tuve la misma vista de arriba para mi última noche en Londres / el Reino Unido antes de regresar a los Estados Unidos actualmente infernales (lo siento mucho, mundo ... 🤬). Food was amazing! We didn’t have a reservation, so they seated us in a cozy corner. I would definitely have the risotto again!

Yummy Sunday Roast! We had the Chapter Roast (with beef and pork) and the Chicken Roast with stuffing, and shared the meats between the two of us which worked out. We also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese. It was the perfect size and was very delicious, good quality and yorkshires were huge! Only (minor) downside for us was the red cabbage with was flavoured with cloves (my partner bit into a whole one) which we found personally not to our taste, but it wasn’t a huge deal because everything else was so good!!

We stumbled upon this pub with a friend and had a very good time. Food was good and big portion. We had a very good Caesar salad with chicken and a cheese burger with chips. The gentleman who took our order for the food was very nice and welcoming. The only disappointing experience was with two of the ladies who were serving. The one that welcomed us around 2pm when we asked for a cider didn’t look very happy to be there and that is very off putting when entering a pub to have a good time. But I’m willing to let it go, we all have bad days. What really upset me was after a while I needed the toilet and nobody was there to ask and I could not see the sign. I saw a door reading accessible toilet and I thought it was the only one so I just went. As soon as I stepped outside a young staff approached me and with a disgusted look on her face told me off for using it. She said the toilets are downstairs. I apologised and said I didn’t see a sign and that I needed to go quickly. She pointed it out again I had to use the ones downstairs so I just said Thanks for letting me know. I don’t think this is the right way to approach a customer, assuming they were just sneaking to the accessible toilets to cheat any queues or something.

Came here for the Sunday Roast. The food was outstanding. During our meal, we had their sausage roll which was a bit spicy which we both enjoyed. The Sunday Roast was very tasty. I had the beef while my wife had the chicken. The potatoes were phenomenal while the carrots and broccoli were roasted to perfection. We took a chance with their Sunday Roast (given so many places offer this type of meal) and I'm so glad we chose the Marquis.

Excellent service from Courtney - she really knew about customer service. My pint of London pride was short, quite expensive and not well kept. The fish pie was bland and well overpriced for what is essentially a few scraps of salmon and a load of mash potato. My wife’s risotto was tasty apparently.

Small portions,average burgers.I will not go back.

I had an incredible experience at the Marquis, with incredibly quick service, very happy workers and amazing drinks. I was served by Ashleigh and she truly made the night amazing.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The pub itself is lovely with a great atmosphere downstairs in the bar where we had a drink after our meal. Qualitu of food was brilliant, I had the traditional choice of fish and chips but plenty of choice (Bangers and Mash, Burger and Chips etc). Mark served us and was incredibly helpful! I'd recommend this pub for food and drinks, I'll definitely be visiting again.

The bar staff (Athena) was very friendly and helpful. She knew A lot of knowledge about the drinks. The venue was nice. I would come back again.

Drink here occasionally and like the atmosphere when it is busy and sunny outside. Went today and got a pint of Guinness and it has gone up 25p yes 25p. £7.35 a pint!! Ridiculous. No wonder it is dead at lunchtime. You are cutting your own throat guys. Good luck.

I recently had a wonderful experience at the Marquis Of Westminster. The pub itself is beautiful, with a traditional yet modern feel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed with my server, Mark. He was attentive and knowledgeable, and made sure that I had everything I needed. He also gave me some great recommendations for food and drinks. The food was delicious. I had the fish and chips, and it was cooked perfectly. The beer selection was also excellent. Overall, I had a fantastic time at the Marquis Of Westminster. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great pub experience.

Amazing decor, incredible food and to top it off I was served by the 2 best bartenders, Ashley and Mark, especially Mark, he went above and beyond for me and my friends. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely come back again. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you Marquis of Westminster for the amazing time!

We booked due to the reviews and it did not disappoint. The Sunday roast was amazing, especially the Yorkshire pudding. Huge plates and lots of fresh seasonal vegetables. Delicious toffee sticky pudding we would definitely recommend. Service was very friendly and we were not rushed. Thank you to the team, We will be back Mr & Mrs Tomlinson

I had the duck, QUACK! My dialectical behavioural therapist had a smokey bacon burger, YUMMY! Couldn't finish the chips cause I had a nervous mars bar before the session and was too full.

I have been several times before and wasn’t disappointed however, this time I found the Sunday roast not good value at all. Two very thin slices of beef for £24.00. Maybe I was just unlucky this time.

Without a doubt my favorite place to enjoy typical English food. Also far from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. I really appreciate the seriousness with which you take the issue of food intolerances.

I took my Kiwi family in for a proper Sunday Roast and this meal exceeded our expectations. Both the pork belly and beef rump were cooked beautifully. The sides were great, and the sticky toffee pudding a standout. Our hostess Yula was fantastic, really attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to eat on a busy Saturday night in December and this place didn't disappoint. The staff were quick to identify a table which sat four but was two tables pushed together with only two people sat at it, so separated the tables so we could eat. The food was lovely and served quickly. Can't recommend this place enough.

Decent food but too noisy when I was there.

The pub handled our Christmas party of about 30 with ease - the food was tasty, service was smooth and unobtrusive (no yelling names), and drink options extensive. We mostly used the first floor which has its own bar, the tables were festively decorated. The road below wasn’t distracting and the food beautifully plated. It’s rare to say venison in a pub was good! Afterwards the pub downstairs was -on a Tuesday night- really vibrant and full. Many of our team stayed on for drinks and were really enjoying themselves. I’d certainly return for a casual night.

We went for a private Christmas party downstairs. The staff are very friendly, great bar staff serving up the drinks. The catered food was very tasty, probably the best finger food I've had at a catered party. They had a private band playing which was brilliant. The seating and the space available is really nice and comfortable, great venue for a party, really impressed with this place.

We had a great evening at the marquise of Westminster. The service was attentive and polite. The food was excellent, the ripeye steak was slightly overcooked but did not affect the quality of the dish. The goat cheese lasagne was spot on. It was a great dinner for our last evening in London

First time here for a work's Xmas lunch. We are upstairs and the food, decor, service and atmosphere were all very good

We stumbled across this gem, looking for a venue for a family Christmas dinner. The pub is smaller sized, with that feel of old london boozer with period features but not all fusty. When we arrived the bar had a lively, young atmosphere and we headed up to the restaurant. Bare stripped floors and subtle colour, making the most of the tall ceilings and large sash windows gave a cosy vibe. We had the Christmas menu and between the 9 of us we pretty much covered the course options. All the food was superb and great portion sizes, I opted for the Venison but confess to having Traditional Turkey and Trimmings FOMO. Service was attentive and relaxed. I would go there again, probably will.

I am starting with a one-star rating, as the system requires a rating to submit a review. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the outset. The staff member we interacted with was notably rude, and it was apparent that this behavior was directed specifically at our group of five, which was diverse in nationality. It was particularly striking that other patrons at nearby tables did not receive the same treatment. We were unable to understand the reason for her unprofessional demeanor, but it was clear that it contributed to us feeling unwelcome. As a result, we chose to cancel our order and leave. This experience was highly discouraging and would encourage anyone not to patronise them ever.

Great food! Had a ribeye steak and it was delicious. Staff was accommodating and took us in even without reservation. Reasonably priced. Located a few minutes walk from Victoria train station. A great dining experience.

On both occasions (the photos are from the two different days) that we went, Mitch attended to us. Despite our terrible English, the boy always helped and empathized. The food is 10, the price is very good!!! The truth is that they met expectations!!!

My partner and I visited Marquis the last time we were in London (6 years ago?) ever since i've been scouring google maps trying to remember what this place was called.. needless to say this morning while preparing for a second visit to London I'm happy to say I found it! Easily the best pub food i've ever had - i'm excited to visit again.

Popped in last Wednesday evening as staying at nearby hotel. I asked if they had any nuts or crisps and was met with a very blunt "no" by the barman. Generally rather rude despite me being polite and smartly dressed. I had a pint of London Pride but this was not at all well kept and I didn't finish it. Found the Cask pub nearby much friendlier and far better beer

This was our second visit to this amazing pub. Ross and Yula in the upstairs dining room took incredible care of us. The food was terrific. We had the bangers and mash and the chicken and leek pie and both were perfect. Special shout out to Yula who made the best Old Fashions ever. Don’t miss the sticky toffee pudding either…it was very, very good. Thank you for making our holiday feel like we were spending it with family.

Very cozy restaurant on the first floor and pub on the ground floor. The waitresses were all friendly and committed. Nothing was missing. Small but fine selection. The food was delicious and the dessert also tasted excellent. Worth a recommendation.

It's more like a senior place, very quite, very chill. Didn't tried the food and the beer was without any gas, as still as water. After trying the first beer didn't want to try anything else and left.

Coming from the U.S. we decided to try some food here. Just a short walk from our hotel. The chicken and leek pie was absolutely delicious along with the open ravioli dish. The espresso martinis were fantastic and to add the service was top notch. Our waiter was super nice. Enough so, that we returned the next night for a few drinks. We will be back!

We visited for Sunday roast, 4 adults and a 9 month old baby. The food was excellent, nicest roast beef we’ve had in a long time. The portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially with the baby. We would definitely recommend.

🚇 Victoria 🍺 £7.45 Hawkstone The Marquis of Westminster is located on the corner of Warwick Way and busy Belgrave Road in Pimlico. The nearest Tube is Victoria, it’s a five minute walk to get here. This pub was established in 1839 and historically was tied to the nearby Watney’s Brewery. There are still three Watney’s lanterns adorning the exterior today. The pub is named after The Marquis of Westminster who was ironically teetotal, a supporter of the temperance movement, and instrumental in closing 40 beer houses in his constituency of Mayfair. This Gastropub is set out over three floors. The main bar is on the ground floor, just off the main bar is a spiral staircase which leads up to an elegant dining room and down to the Cellar Bar. The main bar has a bare boarded floor, some mixed height furniture and an “L” shaped servery which follows the line of the bar. The overall decor has a rustic traditional feel. The beer offering is a selection of mainstream stalwarts which included three cask ales. I noticed they had @hawkstone lager available, so I opted for a pint of that. My pint was great, I really enjoyed it but cost a whopping £7.45!!. The food menu is elevated pub classics, Fish & Chips costs £18.50, roasts are available on a Sunday. I arrived around 5pm on a chilly Friday afternoon in March. The pub was busy and had a nice buzz about it. The punters were a mix of post work pinters plus a few tourists taking time out. The service was on point, the lady who served me was welcoming and courteous. Although this is a Gastro, this pub has proper pub credentials. The main bar area is set up well for those who are here for the beer. The surroundings are pleasant, the beer selection was decent but pricey and the service was on point. Visited here for a Sunday roast with friends. We ordered the pork but they arrived with beef, as these were the only roasts left, but we weren’t told about the change. Food took almost an hour to arrive and when it did it was stone cold. They clearly had a busy day and were understaffed as the waiting staff seem flustered. The pub interior was very nice but seemed to lack ambience, maybe because it was a Sunday evening so was quieter. Would have been nice to have some background music so it wasn’t as silent.

We had a wonderful time at the Marquis of Westminster. The cuisine is incredible. Mark's advice, kindness and welcome overwhelmed us. An excellent address to remember! We will come back with pleasure
