Visited for a birthday meal at lunchtime on Saturday. Staff were great, food was amazing! We would definitely return! Recommend the loaded fries!

Si trova a Soho tra vari locali, trovato per caso si è rivelato molto valido. Giapponese senza il classico sushi, offre un menù vario che spazia dal pesce alla carne. Consigliati il pollo e il maiale alla griglia come antipasto. Sapori bilanciati ma speziati. Prezzo normale per Londra.

I went to @chinatownlondon with my French colleague and we had a Japas (Japanese Tapas) lunch @yataysoho 🇯🇵🥟🍢 WHAT WE HAD 🌱Kinoko gyoza £9 🐮Gyu gyoza £12 🦐Ebi gyoza £12 🐔Karaage £9.5 🍚Kinoko gohan £10.5 (Free🤭) All the gyozas are made in house. I loved Kinoko gyoza the most as it made with mushroom and truffle. Truffle the best😋😋😋 Gyu gyoza was a bit salty but very beefy while Ebi gyoza was flavourful. Karaage was well seasoned with ginger and garlic. It’s tasteful but I would prefer more juicy chicken thigh. Kinoko gohan was a surprise. The manager told us they wrongly made it instead of Kinoko gyoza so it’s free for us🤭 The rice texture was like risotto. For me, the rice was a bit dry and hard but the taste was pretty good with the mushroom and poached egg. Cozy but trendy interior with friendly & attentive service. The food was the best ever and not so expensive for the quality, full of flavors! Also, our waiter Gonçalo was the best! Very kind and friendly and he gives us very good recommendations! The best waiter ever

Visited here yesterday (Mothers Day). We were sat at the bar area watching the chefs do there thing which we really liked. We had the Taste Of Yatay fixed menu, really glad we did as this was my first time of having Japanese street food. We got a of of food for the price of the menu . All the food was delicious, the stand out dish for me was the baby squid, I don't normally like squid as I find it too chewy, but the baby squid was delicious and far from chewy. I would really recommend choosing the Taste of Yatay menu for value for money and really good if you've never tried Japanese food before. Cocktails were so good, The KEMURI SOUR cocktail was absolutely delicious, blend of lychee, Gin, Yuzu, cranberry and apple, so good! Service was excellent, we were very well looked after, the menu was explained to us too. Just one little thing as it was Mothers day we felt it could have been acknowledged as it was obvious Mother & Son were out for lunch. We would certainly revisit as food and service were very good.
