Yaprak Chalfont St Peter in Chiltern

Outrageously mediocre and small portion for price paid. This is not an authentic Turkish place. The salad was basic to say the least and the rice was awful.

Was hard to find as their name has now changed to Laras. The starters came at a good time but mains took too long. Halloumi was very dry, the wings were too saucy. Lamb Shish was nice but the chicken shish was quite dry and not much flavour. Took quite a while for the waiter to notice me and when asked for the bill, it took quite some time for them to get it. Food was decent service was not. For the price paid it should have been better.

Love this place very glam location for lunch or dinner Very friendly polite staff But most of all food is delicious We heard it was very expensive But it's not you can get a 2 course lunch for £12.99 drinks Are a tad more expensive but That is up to you the turkish Wine is really good don't be put off by not knowing it and that Is £22 quid a bottle but extremely drinkable you could just have starters or the do a family mix for around £ 50 I thoroughly recommend you give it a go ..even if you check it out by having a drink in beautiful Outside terrace

The food was very good. Generous food sizes and the cocktails were bombastic Service was brilliant too. Really reasonable priced too.

Go here at least once a month with friends and have the two course lunch which is delicious, lots to choose from on the menu and plenty of it on your plate. Such great value at £12.95 for the two courses and you also get bread, olives and dips included. Highly recommend.

First time coming here. Lovely gentleman by the name of Awaz served us. He was very courteous and accommodating to our order. Really delicious food and atmosphere. I definitely recommend !!!! Thank you Awaz for your excellent service.

Birthday meal Saturday night with family and friends. Food was generous portions. So tasty. Great options for non meat eaters too. Vibe was great. Good tunes by DJ. Service was off the scale good. We will be back.

yaprak served high-quality fresh food. unfortunately JUSTEAT charged 62% more than the shop charges plus a service fee. If yaprak did delivery it would be a regular thing for us. However £47 for 2 kebabs delivered 1 mile is too much to justify. Thanks yaprak for tasty food. JUSTEAT.... do better

Just been in for lunch. Served raw chicken shish. This is unacceptable…. You need to do better. We were the first customers in as well. Not like you were busy. Been coming to Yaprak for many years since the first restaurant in Eastcote. After today I will not return, neither will the other 3 people on my table. Oh and thanks for taking the Shish of the bill. Very kind of you to not charge me for potential salmonella poisoning.

Just had an 80th birthday celebration for 50 people and the team at Yaprak were fantastic. Everyone absolutely loved the food, and the drinks flowed making for a great afternoon.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because: £20+ for a chicken kebab also £6 beers & £13.50 for cocktails. So expensive

Beautiful venue and really nice decor! Lovely and very tasty food too. Only feel that the menu is slightly overpriced for Chalfont St Peter area. Everything is over £20 for mains. Only for one thing I was disappointed when I asked stuff to make my dishes take away. In the box I founded a piece of meat. No salad, no rices no breads. Who's gone eat single piece of meat?:D

Delicious two course lunch at an amazing price

A fantastic experience. The food is freshly cooked, the service was brilliant and Engin (the owner) was polite, kind and friendly. Will 100 per cent plan on coming back.

Place is 5*. From ambience, staff to best lamb kebab. Make sure ask for chilli sauce and the fresh bread with olives and feta dip. 💯 recommend!!!

We went for an early dinner at 6pm as a family with kids ranging from age 1 to 13. Atmosphere was great even at that time of the evening. We sat out in the garden part of the restaurant that they have closed off and with their heaters it didn't even feel like we were outside. The food was absolutely delicious. By the time we left just after 8pm the place was packed!

Went today. Monday lunch Incredible food. Very generous sizes I had the mix grill which was super. Lamb was show stopper Their bread is the best I've had with hummus. Proper chilli sauce which was nice and spicy. Price wise I think it is perfect for location and quality of food. I will return

Went here for lunch yesterday, the lunch deal so was cheap (£13 or 15 for two courses). Despite the deal you get evening service meal portions and quality, I was very impressed! The lamb moussaka is to DIE FOR! Cocktails were also delicious, if you have a sweet tooth you’ll love the Yaprak Signature. I will 100% be coming back. It was too delicious for me to take photos, I will next time 😅

A wonderful hidden gem. I discovered Yaprak over a year ago and it’s always my go to for special occasions. They have the best food with generous portions and the staff are brilliant!

Very fancy restaurant and the food was nice I went for the mixed grill and the meats were tender and juicy

Staff were helpful and friendly when we arrived, and I liked that you could see the grill on your way in. During the dinner, service was a bit slow, and the mains were bought out before starters had been cleared. The lamb shish was rather chewy, but the Adana, Chicken Shish, and Chicken Beyti were lovely. Food was slightly overpriced for what it was, and the seats felt crammed together, but overall, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and decor. The live singer was also a nice touch.

Early Diwali celebrations saw us take to the mighty Yaprak of Chalfont St Peter. Baran recommended the Iskender and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere and furnishing inside is also lovely. Thanks again to the staff and to Baran for the top notch service.

Great food (we had loads of starters and everything was delicious). The staff were attentive and the place is gorgeous (although the loos need some tlc). For a Friday night it was surprisingly quiet, and I couldn't work out why.

Honestly I don’t know where to begin. I came in this evening with a group of three people. We wanted to order the family special which is £99.00 (bearing in mind) then to be told that everything including COLD STARTERS were to come out all together with food. This is something I’ve never experienced before as the starters are supposed to come out before the main course. This is now the second time that there has been a problem. The time before the ribs weren’t cooked and rice was cold! Not fresh at all. This is not an authentic Turkish restaurant! Save your money and go elsewhere

Beautiful restaurant, very modern with a great vibe. Generous portions and a large variety of options. The fish I had was really bland unfortunately which was disappointing but hopefully that's just a one-off as everything else seemed great!

Our experience at Yaprak was second to none - we were given a premium corner table in the open air seating area, the service was courteous, friendly and attentive and the food was a dream of delight. Highly recommended.

Visited Yaprak for our 4th wedding anniversary as per recommendation of a friend and had an absolutely amazing experience. The food was on point, the aesthetic of the place was mesmerising and the staff very attentive. Definitely will visit again and highly recommend 👌🏼🔥

Food was amazinggg. Apart from some of the meats being a bit too salty. But the thing that really makes the restaurant is the atmosphere and the interior design. We went on a Friday so there was a live singer and she was excellent. Amazing voice. Got people up and dancing towards the end and really made the whole experience fab.

Check your bill, they have added attitional drinks to my bill everything I have eaten there l, won't bother again, got a refund from my credit card company

Little pricey but good food. Stick to beers, spirits. Unfortunately cocktails are so so. Mixed grill is very good. Good deal at lunchtime. Check it out.

It's a nice and fancy place. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. Staff is very friendly. Parking is a little issue, although there are 2 car parks around, but only available for 60 minutes.

The portions for starters were ridiculously small; and unfortunately not that great flavour wise - very sloppy feta parcels and extremely salty overcooked veg patties. The sharing platter was also really small and not worth the price. Very stingy on the sauces and olives too! The mains and drinks were extremely overpriced and not worth the hype at all. There are so many amazing quality Turkish cuisines for a fraction of the price and decent size portions. Ok experience - but definitely won’t be returning for those prices and portions!!

Nicely decked up restaurant but food was not that great

Managed to book a table at short notice on a Fri night. Unfortunately all outside tables were taken so we sat inside. The live singers were just too loud and made conversation very difficult. However the staff were very accomdating and moved us to a quieter corner. Food was lovely with generous portions.

High expectations that were mostly met but the singer was very noisy and annoying, also the meat too rare and sweet for my taste. Charged service for not the best service... starters no drink, mains no sauce. OK, but my heads spinning from all that noise and the food went cold waiting for things.

Delicious Turkish dishes, presented beautifully. Portions are generous. The restaurant has a great look and feel to it, and the service was great too. Can recommend the halloumi, and the chicken shish! Really enjoyed the sides of pickled veg too.

We visited Yaprak on a rather hot sunny day and were blown away by the quality of food and service. Atmosphere is great, it feels very Turkish inside with typical Turkish decoration. Lots of variety for food and a nice atmosphere. We only had lunch but I can imagine the dinner is amazing

We were in the area for business. We also found an establishment to have dinner with my colleague. The environment was very spacious and peaceful. Employees are smiling, stylishly dressed and professional. Since we didn't have time for the starter, we ordered the main course. I got lamb shish, my friend got chicken casserole. I can say it was the best lamb shish I have ever eaten in my life! The most officially dispersed in my mouth, I still feel its flavor on my palate. I would definitely recommend.

Ordered a takeaway at Yaprak Chalfont . Served by Engin who was very professional. I ordered a lamb Adana . It was delicious - with fresh bread , salad , rice and *such* good value for money - and packaged sustainably ( no styrofoam ). The portion were big enough for both my husband and I .

Tasty Turkish food and friendly service but it is sadly a bit overpriced - mezze and mangal shouldn’t be so expensive! Great to have çay on the menu but at £3 a glass it’s eye watering. Not the place for a quiet meal - it’s more of a ‘night out’ restaurant with music, loud decor and frozen cocktails!

Absolutely awful experience at Yaprak yesterday evening. Terrible slow service, extremely loud music which made conversation almost impossible, and the waiters didn’t even engage with us properly. We’ve eaten there on a number of occasions since it first opened but the dining experience here seems to have gone rapidly down hill. Won’t be returning

Lovely food with great service. Found the DJ set to be a little intrusive and unnecessary for a dining experience but overall a lovely place to eat and will go back.

We went as a group of friends to enjoy some food and general catch up! The food and drinks were all nice- but the music was exceptionally loud. We understand there was a live performance and we appreciate the artists, but it was extremely loud. This is the first time that in a restaurant we had to actually request them to check if they could turn the music down....which they said they did...but we could not simply hear each other. We had to shout over table just to hear each other! Good food, but sorry I will not visit again.

The absolute best. So accommodating for my daughter and always so looked after. We are regulars and love coming in here

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere DJ's played banging tunes. Food was served fast, all of it was very well presented and tasty. But watch out for the garlic dip.. didn't agree with my stomach 😕.

Who would have thought that in the quaint village of Chalfont St Peter, you would find such a cosmopolitan restaurant, its a breath of fresh air! Whether its for lunch, dinner (or even a friday night when they have live music), the quality of the food and the service is always spot on. I always come home from Yaprak smiling and full. I've traveled a lot and eaten in some very nice places, and I can honestly say that the team and management at Yaprak really makes it stand out from the crowd, they are super attentive and professional, and just really lovely people! Its one of my favourite places to visit. And they have a great lunch menu which is really affordable and great value too!

Always fabulous.The grilled salmon is the best which i had for my lunch today.Very friendly staff.Waiter Valentino made mini tour of the restaurant.Highly recommend this restaurant.The prices are a bit higher but still very affordable,due to the lunch specials for £13.

Food is very tasty. Decor is done very nice. However, touch expensive for what it is and way way way too loud in there. As soon as live music started, our conversations had to stop. Even before that, was difficult to talk. They need add some sound dampening. Food makes up for these little issues though.

What can I say, RUDE, PUSHY and ABRUPT Me my wife and 2 kids visited, and as we had our kids with us they wanted us out within an hour as it was Saturday night, so pushy to the point I was asked if I would be able to finish my second drink quick enough, my desert was thrown at me, Lady that runs the front desk and booking, couldn’t be more fake with her apologies. Food wasn’t the best either We like to try new places but this was a total disappointment OVERPRICED KEBAB SHOP
