Great food we went for the Nepalese food on a Sunday, we did check the website and it said it was still serving but when we got there it was only roast dinners (which I'm sure are still delicious) we asked the waitress Taylor who was super helpful and spoke to the chef to see if he could cook any of the Nepalese food and he could just a reduced selection! We had the chilli chicken, aloo, potters magic and lamb sizzler,The food was delicious and fresh and hot, it's got me very excited to visit on a weekday to experience the full Nepalese menu. Highly recommend any of the things we tried, especially the chilli chicken! And our server Taylor was very helpful and welcoming.

Had an excellent meal at the Potters Arms. The Chilli Chicken was the best I have ever eaten. I also had the Eton Mess, equally delicious. Definitely returning, thank you. The service was so friendly, had a nice evening.

Went for a late Sunday lunch. Exceptionally slow service and when it did come unfortunately it was a poor roast with stale potatoes. Very expensive for such average food. Very disappointing.

Came for Sunday lunch. Food was quite nice although could have been a litter hotter. Ask for more gravy which was hot and helped. Big portions. Service was great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We came across this pub on a wintery Sunday exploring the area. We had 2 roast porks that were cooked to perfection, lots of veg and potatoes to fill our hungry bellies. A proper country pub with great food and great prices. Highly recommend!

Thank you. We celebrated my Dads passing afterwards at The Potters Arms. We booked the Afternoon Tea for the gathering with some vegan options. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon...

Last minute booking for business on a Saturday. The restaurant was absolutely dead, and the room looked like something from faulty towers. Staff had zero character or communication skills. Just avoid, there's a lot of other places that will provide better service and accommodation.

The food was very good overall. The rare steak was not brilliant, and it was very chewy, unfortunately. I dont think it was the cooking ability but rather the quality of meat. The service was slow with only one request if we wanted drinks or to check in on us. Our wait for mains was well over an hour long. We left full and enjoyed our stay as a whole, I hope next time to bump it back up to a 4/5* as the previous trip has been better.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY I came for a coffee with my daughter and friend who also had a young child. We hadn't even sat down and sadly a local group rather loudly made it clear that babies and young families are not welcome. Sadly we left as we did not feel welcomed at all. The locals need to get a grip. We won't be returning

Simply awful service at this pub. Plus they carpet the local area with illegal flyposters that distract motorists on busy road junctions and which taxpayers' money is wasted on taking down and destroying.

The mains were really poor. We were served gone off fish which smelt rancid, overcooked gammon, roast carrots that were coated with dirt. Shocking end to a bank holiday, would avoid if your friend recommends it.

Today was our Thirtieth Wedding Anniversary. We decided that rather than go to anywhere we had been before, we would try somewhere new. My wife found and booked the Potter's Arms. It was out of our area and we decided we could have a little trip out. It was a great choice. On arrival we were met by a young lady named Lauren who showed us to our reserved table. That's when life started to get difficult - what to choose from the menu? There were so many choices it was difficult to decide, but I can assure you that whatever you would have chosen, it would have been cooked to perfection. To start with I had Bubble and Squeak with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce. It was like a breakfast immediately before lunch! I followed that with a Steak and Ale pie, for which they kindly swapped the vegetables for me, leaving me with a main of my making. Full to the brim, I had to ask for dessert to be delayed a while. When I did finally feel able to go for it, it was delicious. I had poached pear in a star anise and red wine sugar syrup. It was a great trip to somewhere we had never been before and it was perfect. Lauren looked after us with a delightful "whatever you want" attitude. We have been, we have seen, we will return.

The food was good and the staff were friendly. My only issue was putting a massive sign outside claiming to have a fixed price menu and a website that said that it was available Monday to Friday and then not serving it on a Monday lunchtime. Kids menu was good.

My favourite bar in Amersham. The expectedly great range of Mad Squirrel beers and a really chilled vibe with friendly, helpful staff. A great spot for sitting outside and reading with a pint as the weather gets warmer!

I’ve been visiting this lovely pub for a few years now, both with work and family visits. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Food is excellent - good quality, looks and tastes great. Huge car park and lovely big garden and patio area for warmer days. Popped in today with mum and thoroughly enjoyed lunch. Thai curry and a baguette followed by their delicious treacle sponge pudding! Atmosphere was warm with background music in the bar area. Looking forward to returning soon.
