Ok this is a warning to anyone thinking of going to this grim place to eat. I walked by at 10:45am and the shutters were still down but there was a considerable amount of already pre cooked food sitting in Bain Marie’s. There was a wok well filled with beef, green peppers and black bean. It was just sitting there when the ‘cook’ came over, turned on the heat and tipped in a considerable amount of white sugar and white mushrooms and began ‘cooking’. I find this disgusting and unacceptable. These places really give Chinese food a bad reputation - here only profit matters it’s one of the ‘do ya rightly’ places that has no place on any serious food scene. The main trade here starts lunch time so the food was going to sit about 75 minutes at the least - I mean Chinese food is fast fried chicken, beef and so on, with crispy vegetables certainly not meat stewed and vegetables sautéed for over an hour in sugar laced/monosodium glutamate corn starch thickened sauces. Any battered chicken (and it’s almost all chicken here) sitting for well over an hour poaching will become stringy and fibrous. The only reason this chicken will remain crisp ish in this situation is all credit to the chemical industry - potato starch that can be fried for 3 minutes to crisp or 45 minutes and remain un effected. Not only would I avoid this place at all costs I’d close it down as offensive to good food.

Stopped in here for lunch during the pride parade. Very good value £5.99 for the amount of food we got. Was very tasty and filling. Both chose salt and pepper chicken, noodles and chicken curry. All was delicious! Recommend

I stopped here to get a takeaway the food selection was good and sensibly priced the salt and pepper chicken dish I had was £4.50 and was tasty and a decent portion.

35 Boucher Road, Belfast BT12 6HR Northern IrelandAs good as the food is i’m very disappointed with the service. decided to order online and pick it up as we were in a rush, we arrived 5 minutes before the pick up time designated but proceeded to wait an extra 25 minutes until our food was ready, completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. this has been the occasion twice now. we ordered a extra sauce assuming it would come in a pot on the side like it did last time? but the sauce was poured all over our meal which just ruined it. onto of paying extra for a sauce that they poured all over our meal we were charged an extra 10p for a bag without the option of opting out of it. just shocking service for such good food.

Ormeau Roadalways get food from this place but this will definitely be the last. ordered a delivery at 17.30 specifically to arrive at 19.00 i got a call at 17.55 asking if he turned right or left to my apartment obviously he was close by so i said to him i’m sorry but i’m not at home and the food was ordered for 19.00.he hesitated and said ok. roll on 19.15 food arrives and guess what every single thing had to be out in microwave it was stone cold. the filo pastry chicken for starters we cldnt even heat up as the chicken had went hard.as for the rest of the food it was abs awfull. very very dissapointed for the fact that they kept the food probably under the heat holding lamp for an hour and sent it out again which is most certainly not within the law of catering. it’s abs disgusting what they have done and we definitely will not be getting from there again
