Yang Sing in Sefton

Asked around for nice chippys to order from and was recommended here. The food we got was lovely even though the order came wrong first. Rang up to tell them and was given nothing but abuse by the woman who answered the phone. She telling me I obviously haven’t ordered from there as I was getting prices wrong but I told her the menu is online and the menu is where I got the number from too, I have attached the menu i seen on here. Was demanded to pay £2 extra and give them the food back which I agreed to but was berated and continued to be told to do so even though I’d already agreed. This service would put me off ordering from here again, attitude on the woman was shocking, never been spoken to as bad before!

Place has gone down a lot since Faye and Nam chips now a disgrace and staff say it is the supply of spuds

Moved close to this an thought would try it out. Bought salt pepper chicken and sweet an sour chicken both with fried rice..an this blew the competition away..the nicest chippy meal we have had..and the place was spotless which is always a nice suprise..i used to work in a kitchen so i cant help lool at the detail..will be our regular chippy for sure

Decent food and good portions - very clean place and quick service.

A very well sized piece of fish for £3.40 or so, i couldn't resist to take a small bite. Most importantly it was very good.

Order special chow mein special hardly no meat, very very dry. And on edible went in the bin

I have just got a chippy Friday looked forward to it . I ordered Yang sing special fried rice £8.50 and It had hardly no meat inside no char Su and this chewy beef what tasted vile . It is usually nice, I won’t be going back again 😔

Decent chippy with lots of choice. Salt + Pepper selection is really tasty and the portion sizes are brilliant. S+P chicken could do with being less dry, battered and crunchy though. Apart from that the food tasted great 👍

First time tonight and I can honestly say this is the worst Chinese meal I have ever had , special garlic and chilly and su mai , the meal was full of onion with a bit of chicken a bit of char Sui and what looked like chopped pork , no taste whatsoever , tasted watery with uncooked onion, the Sui Mai where disgusting, I’ve just payed £14 to fill my bin , I would give this a miss if I was you

Normally OK here tbh, got salt n pepper box, king prawn oyster and special peking. The first 2 meals were fine but the peking, my god, the sauce was the same consistency as water, just swimming and spilling all off the plate. It was absolutely disgusting. Shocked they boxed it up and gave it to me, I've never had anything like that before. Really annoyed

Food ok. Certain meals better than others. We ordered 8 meals. The satay was good but the curry was very very spicy.

Food is really nice , when they get the order right. Used this takeaway for years, but 4 out of the last 6 orders have been wrong 😕

Been using yang sing for years . .food always been good . . .however over last six months the chips have been hit and miss . ..tonight they seem to have been re fried so many times they were hard and crunchy with hardly any potato left . .. nearly broke a tooth !

My friend brings meals into work and they are always gorgeous but when I went, I was disappointed. Always the way, haha, your mates done always tastes better than your own.
