Great staff, great rooms, crap wi-fi

The establishment was well-maintained and the staff provided excellent service. The beds were comfortable and conducive to a restful night's sleep. I would gladly patronize this establishment again in the future.

Needs a refresh staff superb food good

A split hotel with 2 blocks, a large free car park and adjacent to a Beefeater pub/ restaurant. Very clean and very comfortable. The Beefeater does a very good pint of a Guiness.

Needed to crash for an overnight stay. Although a rather dated building it still has all you expect from this brand. Adjacent to Beefeater pub where dinner and breakfasts were good.

Staff had problems with new computer system when we were booking the rooms but we finally got sorted and as compensation gave us complementary breakfasts which were most a appreciated had a good stay.and will be going back.next visit keep up the good work.and a big thank you to pam

We love the Premier Inn chain and we always find the staff here are friendly. You know what you're getting in the rooms and the cleanliness and comfort are top-notch. We don't even think about it. If it's a Premier Inn, we're in!

Always clean and in a great spot

Had a very comfortable qnd enjoyable stay. Rooms were big and clean.

The only criticism is the free WiFi it's a bit rubbish you can pay for better WiFi £5 pound a nite but only required it for a small amount. There is no EE telephone signal in the hotel. Staff at hotel all very nice and helpful room clean and comfortable all good

Really lovely helpful staff and clean and tidy rooms, the location is a little out of the way but not a major issue, definitely one of the better Premier Inns I've stayed at, keep up the good work.

Bit of a quite place nothing around you. I was there working so not to much of an issue could do with a bit of updating. And some staff training wouldn't go amiss

Another great stay at this excellent hotel. Always a warm welcome from whoever is on reception Linda, Sarah Lou, Wendy or Jan. Rooms are clean and fresh thanks to the dedicated house keeping team. All in all a great place to stay.

Used this hotel as a handy base to explore the surrounding area by car and bike. There are not many facilities within walking distance but it is also easy to get into Southport by bus. Loads of parking. Room very comfortable with good Aircon. Limited phone signal in the area, I had a room near reception and the free WiFi was fine apart from dropping out on one day out of five. All the staff in the hotel and the adjoining Beefeater are really friendly and seemed happy to be there. The pub is a bit run down but still had a good atmosphere and decent value food and drinks. All in all a good stay and fair pricing.

Had a nice breakfast with grand children and they eat for free. Only give 4stars because coffee machine broke down twice.

Nice place to stay with family in Premier Inn.clean rooms and very good customer service by staff. Specially miss windy.

We stayed on a quiet night and were placed in room 15. Everything was fine until we tried to go to sleep. Unfortunately the drone from the coolers below our room were very disturbing and we didn’t sleep much at all. I reported the situation in the morning but the manager didn’t bother to speak to us. The breakfast staff whilst efficient looked very miserable which is very unusual for this part of the country. Premiere Inn have twice confirmed that they are happy with our experience. It was our fault that we were uncomfortable because we didn’t phone reception in the middle of the night to ask them to switch off their coolers. I can only conclude that the group is not what it used to be. There are plenty of other suppliers to choose which are good quality and half the price.

Had a family room ( by accident) for just the two of us. Room was spacious, bed was really comfy, proper bath in the bathroom and the hotel was quiet with friendly staff. Limitless breakfast in the adjoining Hotel the next morning so, overall, very good value for money. Only quibble, a few sticky bits on the carpet - probably not much they could do about that.

No signal at all and the WiFi is terrible payed for the ultimate WiFi and couldn't even get on it

Wi-fi is awful and couldn’t get any service, apart from that pleasant budget hotel

Friendly staff and very clean can not fault but we have stayed 4 times in the last six months and every time the wifi signal has stopped working despite paying for it. This needs to be addressed urgently as cell service is non existent in the area.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff

Business trip for two nights. Reception extremely welcoming which was a joy. Nice and quiet.

We enjoyed our Eurovision stay even more by staying at PI Ormskirk. Usual high standards but friendly staff in hotel and in restaurant was appreciated. Plenty of parking. We got taxi to ormskirk station for £12 and then a direct train into Liverpool city centre after 25 minutes. Hope to go back to Liverpool and Martinmere and will stay again at this hotel.

Nice place to stop over or to visit the Morris Dancers restaurant. The menu is large enough choice for everyone. Service is usually good, we were looked after nicely by a young waiter all evening. Prices pretty good. Good great drinks good. Nice seating areas we were fortunate to sit in a secluded area on a large round table.

Clean and tidy. Met by excellent and friendly reception staff.
