Terrible! Ordered 2 cocktails which arrived with no taste of alcohol whatsoever. First part of the food eventually arrived after 1hr, disappointed with the stale and dry bread. Left with remaining food in a carrier bag as wife had a bad stomach!

The food, The drinks and the service was impeccable. A young guy was alone doing everything. He was literally killing himself to make everyone happy, He was friendly, kind and apologised so much even though i watched him do everything. Thank you for a great night. And he deserves praise for what he did tonight.

Toilets are dirty and smelly. Food came out cold despite us pre ordering as we were a large table and no one else was there. Not very proactive at the start with ordering drinks we had to ask them to come and take the orders. Place was empty apart from our party there. Food very average not great could do better at home.

Absolutely shocking. Very slow service, starter bread was hard, old and stale. Ordered the chicken a la Creme off the menu. Came out covered in stinky cheese which does not state on the menu. Made me feel sick. Told the waitress and asked for a replace chicken shish. Waited 30 mins and asked her where my food was. She said I thought you was going to eat off my Partners plate? What!? Cocktails were too strong not enough chaser. Wine tasted like it was in the fridge for a week. Very very disappointed. Got the bill and left starving! Don’t waste your money.

Kind staff. Also really enjoyed the lamb ribs on grill. A must have next time I am in Northampton again.

Yakut Lounge is a gorgeous venue to dine at, as well as share wonderful times with friends and family. I have been multiple times now and will continue to come back for the welcoming friendly staff and delicious food

Noisy resturant felt like being in a terrible tacky nightclub Nearly left after five minutes but was convinced to stay because the food was supposed to be good It wasn’t starters bought out and then followed by the mains as we were eating our starters felt like we were being ushered out Food was cooked well but very very basic ,very salty and poor value for money It’s a shame because it was a lovely building

Was taken out for the evening for mothers day meal at Yakut lounge 😋 and the food was delicious, I had fish kebab and my husband had sea food pasta both meals very very tasty. Great service, staff are very polite and recommended food from the menu, brilliant experience, we have been here now a number of times and always had a great experience with great food.

Went for a bottomless brunch and it was absolutely lovely experience from the moment we got in to the restaurant…. Christian was friendly and very helpful and polite. The food was absolutely lovely and worth the money. We like that you had a choice of drinks available. Will definitely come again.

My valentine dinner was successfully ruined by a rude waiter. Myself and husband went out on our val' date which also happened to be our celebration of a great achievement. We got in there and ordered our food from 9 pm. 5 minutes to 10 we asked " can ypu find out how long our food will take " His immediate response with his hand in the air was " it's coming man" My husband wanted to complain but since it's a special night and a double celebration I told him to let go. This waiter who was in white snickers kept walking up and down our table with attitude 😒. His body gestures and expressions said it all. Eventually we got our food and ate, finished and paid since we wanted yo leave the place as the atmosphere was beginning to ruine my night. . As I walked through to the door, this same waiter came after me and said " have you paid for your food? As shocked as I was, I asked excuse me? " he said I can see you leaving but have you paid for your food? At this point I went straight in to speak with the manager Mark who said he will speak with him. I am so disappointed and disgusted 😞 😪 for being treated like a criminal and disrespected. I honestly hope he is spoken to because treating your follow human being like that expecially on this great occasion is unacceptable. Sadly they do not have their badges on so I couldn't get his name however I am happy for any further discussions. Thank you Petal.

My experience at Yakut restaurant in Northampton for a dinner held in December was incredibly disappointing. Despite our efforts to ensure a smooth event, the poor service from the staff made the evening a complete disaster. From the outset, we encountered issues with the restaurant’s service. We requested to taste the food before the event, a reasonable request for any large gathering, but were met with refusal. Before the event, we took the initiative to send Yakut restaurant the selected menu options for the attendees. Additionally, we visited the restaurant a day before to make adjustments and inform them about individuals who would not be able to attend. Despite our proactive communication, the restaurant still proceeded to prepare food for the absent guests and included it on our bill. During the dinner, the waitresses displayed unprofessional behavior by serving plates of food before everyone had even settled in. Despite our attempts to ask them to hold off for just 10 minutes, they disregarded our requests and continued to bring out dishes, shouting ,causing confusion and disrupting the flow of the event. To make matters worse, the food served did not match what was listed on the menu, and promised dessert, including ice cream, and complimentary drinks were nowhere to be found. Additionally, the refusal to lower the volume of the music, despite it being a family function with a larger-than-usual group, made it impossible for us to converse and enjoy the evening. The final blow came when we received the bill, which was significantly higher than expected. Not only were there hidden charges that were never mentioned during the booking process, but the restaurant also charged drinks separately and insisted on billing everything to one person, rather than allowing individuals to pay for their own drinks. In the end, we paid over £1000 for a dinner that was nothing short of a disaster, and we are still trying to recover from the ordeal. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them, and I hope they reflect on the damage they’ve done to their reputation.

We paid over $1000 for a terrible evening, and I strongly advise against dining at Yakut restaurant.

The food was lovely. But the service was awful! We had booked a table a week in advance and still had to wait 20 minutes after our time for a table once we arrived. They then took ages to take our order and it came an hour and half later! The staff were all over the place. The drinks came late too. Will never be going again. Do not recommend to anyone. So many better places on that road; like Turk Inn.

Visited last night, Saturday & was disappointed based on my first visit a couple of years ago. Luckily the food was good as the service was poor. We waited ages for someone to take our order and then waited ages again for drinks (They had nothing on draught & only Corona or Bud in bottles). The staff were all over the place (there seemed to be plenty of them around) & didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on or what they were doing. We sat near the kitchen/private room which was already cold but someone kept going out the back door and letting in a draft. There was also a strong smell of sewage 5/6 times in the time we were there which was disgusting. I witnessed our starters get taken upstairs and then back down to us and then the same happened again with our mains, by the same waiter! Again, we were sat close to the kitchen. We also had to ask someone for our complimentary bread. 2 groups of people outside when we left also commenting on how poor the service was so clearly we weren’t the only ones to feel that way.

Went here with 2 friends on Saturday night. Food was nice and well cooked but service poor and slow. We were waiting for drinks for quite sometime and when they came my 2nd cocktail although same drink was in a much smaller glass compared to the first one I ordered at the same price. I did get a complimentary drink when pointing this out. I swapped rice for chips which was fine but wasn’t told there would be a 2 pound charge for this until the bill arrived. Don’t think we will return anytime soon.

Disappointing Experience at Yakut Restaurant I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent dining experience at your establishment. While we had high expectations, several aspects of our visit were unsatisfactory. -Confusing Service and High Pressure The staff, including the manager, provided confusing service, and there was an unnecessary level of pressure on our guests to order drinks even as people were still coming in and settling in. -Pre-Ordered Food and Untimely Service Despite pre-ordering our food, the staff rushed the serving process, bringing out dishes before our guests had a chance to settle. This rushed approach detracted from the overall dining experience. -Hidden Fees Issue We encountered unexpected hidden fees that were not disclosed during the booking process which I paid deposit two weeks before the date . Clear communication about additional charges is crucial to avoid any misunderstandings. Unmet Booking Agreement for Upstairs Area We specifically booked the upstairs area for 40 guests, confirming our intention to have a family dinner with speeches as me and my Wife where celebrating our Union. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, the restaurant played loud music, deviating from our initial agreement, and refused to adjust the volume as previously agreed. -Lack of Clear Management Line There appeared to be a lack of a clear line of management. Each supervisor seemed to have different objectives, leading to a disjointed experience for us as patrons. -The desert was a total disaster no Ice cream was provided as the set menu had stated, I felt scammed and robbed how ever at the end of the night they were demanding their money which the bill was totally unacceptable. I will not return back to that restaurant, no professionalism at all.

Went ther first time, really enjoyed atmosphere, food was delicious i definitely will go back, price bit to high, be unfortunate this is price for need to pay for eat outside.

We dined at Yakut Lounge for an evening meal. The food was excellent, my meat moussaka was tasty and packed with flavour. My fellow diners praised theirs too. The meats were tender and aromatic and the bread was delicious. My one quibble is the loudness of the music. It was so loud we could not hear the waitress and asked for it to be turned down. People are assumingly coming here to dine and chat. The management need to consider what kind of user experience they are aiming for, because this is a restaurant and not a nightclub.

There was a lot of miscommunication which really let it down, each waitress told us the platters were for a different amount of people. We were in a big group so I understand there being a wait, but we were there for 3 hours. The food was pretty good though, shame everything else let us down

They didn’t offer us anything on al-cart, it was just x-mas menu available, totally rip-off, we came to restaurant 8 ‘and till 10 they didn’t serve the food. Really bad experience, never again.

A real shocker of an experience here on Saturday night. In the end we was here for around 3 hours. Service was none existent, forgetting orders bringing the wrong items, constantly having to remind them what we had ordered. The wait for a starter was around 1:20 minutes. Then between the starter and the main was the same. Far too long, especially for a quickly cooked grill restaurant. Will certainly not be returning here in a great hurry thats for sure.

Nice looking place and food was decent. Service was slow, took ages to get drinks and our food kept getting sent to the wrong table. Kept on messing with the music turning it up really loud and then down. Cocktails are a bit over priced for the quality. Just a bit odd but overall pleasant enough.

We met with friends intending to have a catch-up but the music was so loud we just couldn’t hear each other. We asked for it to be turned down a bit, which it duly was , only to be turned up again by the man behind the bar. To be fair several of the staff asked him to turn it down and one staff member actually did it herself only for the same man to turn it back up again. When I looked at him he just stared daggers at me. I looked around the restaurant to see everyone else having to shout at each other too. The food was nice, and when the music was at a reasonable volume the place was good. Most people go to restaurants to enjoy the food and chat. The volume was more suitable for a night club. We shan’t go there again.

Absolutely shocking service, attitude and ruined a special occasion. Avoid. Never returning here. 45 minutes to take an order, wish we'd left then but a table of 8 and special occasion. No wine.. wouldn't let us even get out own. Asked them to go tescos.. or something! Told it was busier than expected for lunch..nothing they could do. Wish they'd called and cancelled table. Brought staggered food, wrong items. Expensive too so thought it would be good for special occasion. Asked for special dessert for birthday.. didn't arrive after 1 hour. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had.

The atmosphere inside this place is very nice , quiet and beautiful from inside. The service was good food is amazing but cocktails is horrible worst cocktails ever drink , they don’t know how to make margarita, aperol spritz ,tequila sunrise -it was taste like expired juice with mould 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮only cosmopolitan was not so bad ,very disappointed !!!!

It was awful I went there for my 18th birthday the staff were so rude and impatient waiting nearly an hour to get drinks and took over 2 hours to get our mains staff snatched the menus out are hand one main meal came with starters so my friend finished before ours came out and they forgot about some food and messed up the rest would never go back staff ignored us when we asked for drink and rolled there eyes would give 0 out of 5 if I could

Menu is a little on the pricier side but the mood is great quality and the portions are large. Bread and dips provided were delicious. We did feel a little pressured to order and had to request a little longer before ordering. We stayed for drinks after our meal and it was a little difficult to get the attention of staff to order more drinks. overall the staff are friendly and the restaurant is vibrant and modern

Went to this place for my friends birthday and it was absolutely shocking service . We were treated very poorly , staff were very aggressive when we wanted to pay the bill separately as they wanted 30 people to pay on one card ! They would not let us leave until until the bill is paid even if you have paid your share , they stood and guarded the door which made me feel very vulnerable. I went there another time with a friend also and the waitress took so long to come to us when we called her bearing in mind it was only us in the restaurant as it was brunch times. The waitress also did not give us knives or forkes and did not check up on us at all. I do not recommend due to the service . Also the music was sooo loud we could not hear eachother speak and it was only 12:30pm !

Boom box playing loud music positioned next to a few tables made it impossible to have a conversation Various customers complained and requested the volume to be turned down, however within a few minutes we were back to not being able to hear each other. It took multiple requests and eventually a serious conversation before the customer were actually considered. Felt like the customer service was not part of the experience 😕 Will never waste my time or money there. Mr Chippy offers better service and food.

Usually the place was great, but the last time we went we had been very disappointed as we left it without being served. We had been waiting 1h, 10 minutes and chef had not even started preparing our food.

Go to Marmaris. Waitress had an attitude problem. Shouting and impatient. Had the mixed grill and it tasted like it had been marinated in water before being cooked. Bland!

Went there on our anniversary, sat for over an hour and didn't get the food that we ordered, so we left and won't be coming back

Food is not as good as before but suspiciously the last 2 times I've been here they keep saying their card machine not working and telling customers to go to the nearby cash point to get cash out. Speaking to others I hear this happened to them as well! Tax evasion? Or someone trying to pocket some quick cash for themselves? Hmm I guess I'll never know because I won't be going back.

Great place to eat, food was beautiful, only down fall was the waitress answering the phone whilst speaking to our party, esp when there was another waitress at the reception desk at the same time, same waitress, also huffed when asked for contiments to go with the meal. Apart for that 10/10.

The food and drinks were amazing here and the value for money was very good, however the staff were all over the place and seemed to only have one real waitress. Not efficient service or enough staff to handle how busy it was so we had to wait ages for drinks/ service.

Came here to celebrate a birthday on a Tuesday night. The place was completely empty which was ok with us. It meant we had the choice of seating. We decided to take the seats facing the road. Maybe not the best choice as with most people watching street views, we had all the drama of a busy street, people shouting, a kid hanging out the window etc. Onto the food. Excellent no other word to describe it. With a turkish native, they couldn't fault it. So far the tastiest in northampton as far as turkish food goes. The service was great and attentive (wouldn't expect less as we were the only customers there) On the way out they gave us a tray of backlava to celebrate my wife's birthday. it was great, the nut to filo pastry ratio was really good and didn't feel like they skimped on it.

I booked a large group table for a birthday. I was a little nervous after reading some mixed reviews but in fact, everything was perfect! Food is excellent - some of it simple but done extremely well. Venue and atmosphere are fantastic. Everyone was impressed and there were some foodies amongst us. The booking process wasn't easy but it didn't impact the day. Will definitely return and may even come back just for cocktails. Well done!

Great choice on the menus, atmosphere good, and service friendly. Booking appears to be a bit haphazard, and as I wasn't confident, I popped in the week before. It wasn't in the diary!! Luckily, they could still accommodate us!

I went for a friend's birthday and stayed in a private room. The staff were really welcoming and even changed the music to our liking. The food was great, very filling and an amazing interior. Would definitely come again!

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Northampton. The staff is really friendly and truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Northampton. Highly recommend!

We came two weeks ago for my friend’s birthday the service was amazing they decorated our room as well just wanted to say a big thank you for this amazing experience five out of five without a hesitation I suggest the restaurant to everyone

Me and my best friend were quite excited to go there. There was a man that served us. When he gave us our main course, I asked him if he wouldn’t mind taking a picture of us. Which he then said in a quite rude way, that his to busy. Me and my best friend felt quite uncomfortable for the rest of our time there, and just tried not to show it. There was really no need for that, especially as we were the only ones there for a quite a while, and he was just standing there doing nothing a lot of the time

Called on tuesday to make a booking, call handler was so rude, it left me baffled. I called saying ‘hello, can I make a reservation for today’ Not even a hello but they responded with ‘WHAT??? today???’ I said ‘yes today’ They said ‘ermmmmmmm what time?’ I said ‘for 6.30pm for 4 adults and 2 children’ They replied ‘no no no absolutely not’ I then asked ‘oh why not it’s only 4 adults and the children will not be eating anyway’ They said ‘I said NO! we are short staffed so no’ I replied it’s the same as taking 2 seperate bookings of 2 different couples, they then said no and I said okay then cut the call. They were so disgusting in the way they spoke to me I will never ever be visiting this restaurant again. No wonder everyone has been telling me their service has gone down hill since all previous visits and we’ve visited multiple times and recommended to so many people. If you want to keep recurring customers, sort your service out. I’m disgusted. All they had to say is ‘sorry we’re fully booked’ and we would have been content and looked elsewhere. Whoever picked up that phone clearly has a screw loose and needs a reality check or look for a job somewhere else that doesn’t involve speaking to loyal customers over the phone. I would give it 0 stars if I could. What a disgrace.

Would not recommend, VERY OVERPRICED to what was served to us , mid week evening visit , only one other table eating . Waited 20 mins before calling staff member over to order drinks , waited another 10 minutes before we got drinks . £4.50 for a small glass bottle of Coke Zero , £8.95 for prawn starter . 4 small prawns on plate , not worth the money , £18.95 for mixed shish consist of 3 cubes of chicken , 3 cubes of lamb ( lamb had funny taste and very fatty ) , again not worth the money . Worst Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been in . Very poor service with only 2 tables eating totalling 5 people .I’ve never left a Turkish restaurant and still feel hungry!! Pictures on social media makes the place look so nice , we were very disappointed when we walked in . Prices are a lot higher to what’s advertised on the website !!
