Domino's Pizza in Northampton

Our office ordered 10 pizzas from this branch on Monday 14th October for delivery. The food was amazing, warm and tasted great. We ordered extra sauce too which was all correct. The whole office loved it and Ed, our delivery driver was amazing! He brought up 3 full bags of pizza and even agreed to a picture for us. Thank you for the tasty pizza

Order 3 pizzas from here when they were delivered about 35/40 minutes later they had only sent two of the pizzas, my son’s pizza was not there they had sent garlic bread instead. Phone them and the person I spoke to responded with oh sorry did you want us to send the pizza again to which I replied yes it’s my sons dinner. Was then told it would be over a hour to wait as they are busy and they would take the glass garlic bread back when they deliver the pizza. I asked why my order would not be a priority seeing how they messed up to which he said umm to then put the phone down. No offer of compensation or a proper apology. My son now had to wait an hour for his food after the rest of the family had theirs.

Don't visit Dominos Wootton, Northampton tonight. My order was placed at 4:30pm with a collection of 6:30pm. At 7:10pm my daughter was still waiting to collect. The food was barely warm. The wedges were chewy and cold. Whilst waiting there my daughter heard comments such as "what do you want me to do?" " We're just waiting on one more food, your order had been sat there waiting for a while". When another customer complained and a member of staff asked another, the second member of staff said "shut up I can't do anything". The manager changed everytime a customer asked to speak to a manager. There were male staff sat in the food prep area, eating returned food. This place should be ashamed of themselves, quality is shocking, service is shocking and my food has gone in the bin. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Give your money to charity instead.

AWFUL - requested HOT pizza - order received stone cold. Complained and met with major attitude from a member of their staff who wanted the order returned before issuing a replacement. Is this level of 'service' acceptable to Dominos corporate? Probably the worst customer service in the vicinity. NO stars! Part 2 - after receiving a 'free pizza' code from Dominos for this order I stupidly trusted them to delver hot pizza - after ordering £19 extras to meet the delivery requirements for my 'free pizza' (!) the order arrived cold again but this time they went one better and thought that burnt loaded bacon and cheese fries would work - see photo attached. Would you eat this?!?!

Dominoes pizza. What more do you need to know? No customer toilet but its next to a service station.

Closes at 00:00 on Saturday not 01:45 - incorrectly advertised opening hours.

Rubbish customer service, sent my food to the wrong village then when the order finally arrived it was wrong. It was difficult to get hold of them to speak to. When they replied and I asked them to send out the missing item they acted like they were doing me a favour.

Unfortunately a really dry pizza, hardly any tomato base sauce and I ordered extra toppings which were left off. Second time this has happened thought I’d try once more but not again now. Maybe they were saving because I ordered a pizza for £12. Shame it’s local, will avoid next time.

Food arrived luke warm at best... this has happened twice now :( Update 2019 - Still garbage and worse than a cheap Tesco's value oven pizza.. Update 2023 - worse than before.... words cannot express how awful this restaurant is.

Shop said it was open till 12:45am but was closed when I got there at 11:45am. Nothing else close to get food. Disappointing

Ordered on a Thursday evening and waited over an hour and 15 minutes for cold food. No answer from the store on multiple attempts to phone even though deliver time when ordering was 21-31 mins, makes it worse that I live 2 minutes away!

Used to be a loyal and dedicated Domino's customer but Kingshorpe Domino's is BAD. Cold, missing or meagre toppings. Roll over and die Domino's. Pappa John's is smoking your ass, everything it should be and you ain't.

Overcharged for a pizza and refused to compensate.

Lost 1 part of order so had to wait a bit longer but they gave me a drink and kept the rest warm so no biggy

We've ordered from here numerous times in the past and each time we haven't been that impressed with the time/quality that goes in to making the pizza presentable, so we stopped ordering from Dominoes and went elsewhere. We gave it another go recently so we could try out the new 'The Ultimate Spicy Sausage With Nduja' pizza. When we got home and opened the box, we were again not happy with the presentation! It looked like a child had cut the pizza up, it wasn't even at all and some of the slices were that badly cut they were a line rather than a triangle shape you usually get whenever you order pizza, personally I think this is unacceptable and it's a good job we weren't sharing this pizza evenly with friends. The pizza wasn't very well made either, the edges were disproportionate, the cheese was slightly burnt on some parts. We were shocked with how the presentation of the pizza was and didn't enjoy it at all. This was our last time trying out Dominoes again, unfortunately we are disappointed and will now go elsewhere. Note to Dominoes: if it's that hard to cut the pizza evenly, maybe investing in a machine to cut the pizza is the way forward!!

Ordered dominos mighty meat pizza Large. It was really juicy and tasty. Loved it.

We order from Domino's, Wootton, Northampton from time to time with mixed results but tonight was the worst yet. The order was incorrect with two types of garlic bread rather than dough balls and chicken kickers ...should be an easy quality check surely?, missing topping from the pizza and luke warm. Raised the incorrect order with both the delivery driver and manager, their response of what do you want us to do was less than positive customer service. The dark hair in my pizza just capped off the Domino's experience, expensive (even with the deals), poor quality, and poor service.

If we order pizza we usually use this Domino’s- ordered tonight and have to say the pizzas were dreadful!! Mine had so much tomato base on it you couldn’t taste anything else and my husband’s pizza was as soggy as you can get! Very disappointed as we don’t order takeaway very often and now I know why 😞

We have ordered multiple take out orders for pizza from this Dominos. Its our go to whenever we don't feel like cooking. This one has friendly staff and pizza is always ready on time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick hot pizza for a take out.

Really. How hard is it to get my order right??? I collected my order of 1 pizza and 2 sides, went home, opened it up and it looked like a pavement pizza. Most certainly NOT what I ordered. Is it so diffucult for them to LOOK at what they are doing? Rather than standing around talking crop to each other. Can't even blame being understaffed and or busy. Really makes my mind boggle.

Would give zero stars if available. Rang up to place an oder for collection, driving at the time, the girl said I had to pay in advance as order over £20. Told the girl, I was driving and can't get to my wallet at that time, said I would pop in to order. She said that was ok and it would only take 15 minutes. When I got there where shut. Got there

Ordered a takeaway, no indication of delivery time, assumes it would be reasonable. More than 2 hours!. No way of cancelling on the website. Could not get through on the phone. Never again!!!

Good pizza, exactly as you might expect from a dominoes. The place was clearly inundated with orders and the staff were obviously doing their best, our pizza was slightly late on this occasion though.

Very unhelpful staff- scammed of £28. Ordered online and when went to pick up they said they had no order. Money gone out of bank and the staff in store said nothing they could do- useless. Don't use them

Brilliant, so easy to order and pick up.

I was so excited to order a pizza with decadence crust,so I finally placed and order yesterday. I got there to collect it and was kept waiting for at least 10 minutes, the girl at the front was on the phone to a customer and a queue of 5 people was forming to the point where people were waiting outside as couldn't fit in the store. 10 minutes later, one of the guys there decided it was time to hand our food to us which was ready before we got there and left on the hot rack all this time. Got home and the double decadence was such disappointment. Barely any cheese sauce in between the thin bases yet they charge us extra for this crust. Not impressed, at least should not charge us extra £ if being this stingy which the cheese sauce. You can see for yourself in the pics attached. In conclusion, I do not recommend this store.

Food is always nice enough and this branch has never been below par on quality, slightly annoying that on the last time I ordered I was told it was ready by the app then had to wait 15 extra minutes, then the time before an item was missed from my order. But the staff always seem happy to help and try their best to rectify anything wrong.

Shambles - 2 hours or more to deliver a pizza and if I don’t like it I can always collect it. I find this out after waiting over an hour and fifteen for it and then ringing in (hung up on twice and over 10 mins to get hold of anyone) to see where it is. I was told If the wait is to long I could always collect it but If I wanted to collect it I would not have ordered it to be delivered. Spoke to the “duty manager” who offers no empathy; no solutions, no interest but also suggests I might want to come and collect it. When I ask if he has any better suggestions he hasn’t, I asked for his name but apparently he isn’t obliged to share that with me. I assume duty manger is just a badge they award as he couldn’t manage his way out of a paper bag. He did however share that they have over 100 pizza orders backed up so no doubt I’ll be one of many unhappy people tonight; why take orders if you can’t fulfill them?

I only parked in the car park as i had to reset my map due to coming off the M1 due to a section being closed sorry.

After giving my phone number it appears my order sat on the shelf for 10 mins without calling me to say it was ready. So it was not a hot when I finally got home.

STAY AWAY FROM DOMINOS WOOTTON - A really really long time ago 10 years to be specific this dominos used to make great fresh pizzas. Now they make piles of ****. For the past year or two I have monitored their pizza's as it was a last resort to buy from them. Their pizzas are definitely not fresh, I do not know if they even use fresh ingredients anymore. Their pizza's are also very dry and stale. And if you want to get an upset stomach please go ahead and buy a pizza from them. I don't know whether they drop the pizzas on the floor and clean the floor with them before they give them to customers or whatever they do. But, I would highly advise you to not buy one from this Wootton branch, instead the much much better branch would be the one in town centre, very fresh and tasty every time I order form them. If you've read this far you are really dedicated to pizza! XD

Pizzas were okay. Not clear on what one should do when you walk into the shop, the person behind the counter was not very helpful and when I asked for a menu there was a state of confusion

After waiting two hours for a delivery that was supposed to take 50 mins, we called to find out what was going on. We were told they were being made and would be out for delivery or collection within ten minutes. I went to collect to find that it wasn't even made and the carpark was full of other annoyed customers. I had a word with the manager who told me they have no control over the app orders and they have had a lot of telephone orders. Seems like customer service comes second to the cash from orders coming in.

Worst Dominoes ive been to, ordered a Vegan pizza for a family member and they put pepperoni on it. When i asked for a refund they refused.

My local Domino's, does what it says on the tin and makes pizzas quickly.

Never had a problem although it's a rare treat to have pizza.

Just received the pizza - virtually cold. Now having to put in oven to reheat - if I have to do that I may as well buy one from a supermarket.

Absolute rubbish. Ordered pizza at 7.19pm. App still said it was being prepped at 8.10pm so we called. We were told they were busy and were running late but we'd have it by 8.30. At 9pm we tried calling again - they just stopped answering the phone. We didn't get any pizza and it took over a week and 2 calls to get our money back. They couldn't have cared less if they'd tried. Customer lost.

Rubbish service at Wootton branch. I ordered chicken takeaway and was given meat pizza. Called them on phone, kept on hold for 20 minutes and they said will replace. I specifically asked for any chicken pizza and they delivered pepparami pizza. Absolutely disgusting and rubbish.

Ordered a collection pizza. The chap serving me was polite, the preparation area clean and the pizza was good. Top marks

Driver gave me wrong pizza and gave my magnum ice cream to someone else which he happily admitted and gave no apology, just said oh well I'll bring another one out, well after an hour later no ice cream, so rang dominoes only to be told it would be another 45 minutes or we can give you a 5 pound voucher! Last time I ever order from them, Absolutely terrible service

Nice food but service a bit slow when collecting

Staff were friendly and helpful. They offer a gluten free pizza which come unsliced, so if you order similar pizzas that aren't gluten free there is no confusion and no cross contamination with cutting instruments. However on this occasion my pizza came under cooked. The cheese was melted but not browned and the sauce was watery yet overpowering. I didn't enjoy this meal.

We had an issue with our meal being incorrect but DEAN at the Wootton branch went above and beyond to not only sort it out but deliver super quickly too! Hats off to him - it made a bad experience a really great one. Thank you again Dean!

If it wasn't for the fact that my husband and I were so hungry, then we would have been sending these pizzas straight back! (If you can call them that!) One of them was a half and half pizza, and it had just turned into one big mixed up mess! Appalling, especially for how much they charge as well. Will not be ordering from Domino's again!

Asked for two deal one was half and half got a whole Hawaii pizza with what I requested for half thrown on top. Chicken was crispy and dry Deal was a rip off as could of had one get one free. No offers explained staff happy. Dirty floor due to the dough being made into pizza. Shape was three quarters round..won't go back. The pizza sat on side and 5 mins later girl said what name u waiting for didn't even know not that busy.

Lovely pizza.. good value two for one!!

Expensive for what you get. I find the bases a bit on the doughy side but the BBQ bases are ok. I personally wouldn't recommend the potato wedges as they never feel like they are cooked. That being said the two for Tuesday's makes the occasional Domino's worthwhile.

I order from here a fair bit. Not once has any order made gone wrong. Their delivery service is prompt and all the drivers provide a good service. Domino's website provides you with good deals making the food inexpensive.

Extremely long delivery time. Usually quick but my pizza which was meant to turn up in 20 minutes has yet to appear over an hour later. They do try their best to resolve it and I understand that sometimes they can be extremely busy. Pizzas usually good quality apart from some cases

I ordered a thin crust pizza, thought I'd give it a try. Bad mistake!!! It was so thin it was like eating cardboard. The fact it was over cooked didn't help either. Whoever was cutting then up should have gone to spec savers it was a shocking mess. Very very disappointing indeed. On the plus side the garlic bread was good but yet again the cutting was terrible absolutely no care went into it.
