Flames Grill in Northampton

Been coming here for years. Tonight they have proven they can not be trusted. So annoyed for someone who puts alot money in till and get along with the manger iv been let down on my food. Over priced and food was not 100% correct. It's shame this as happened and I will not be back now. Trsut you and respect ya food and staff. Now I tried talk on phone you keep cutting me of. Shame this as me and the manger used to be and was good ppl know from young age 😪

Ordered a mixed kebab, the land was thin as a crisp, the salad wasn't the best, and more kebab meet than shesh, I wouldn't recommend it, paid £23 for one person the delivery was spot on got and very lovely lady delivering it communication was spot on shame about the little portions for that money, I wouldn't recommend it, was so looking forward to a real kebab, if that's what your looking for I wouldn't order from flames. Greedy and no respect for the customers.

Such a shame. Been going here for 20yrs. Re heated doner kebab on the grill, tasted disgusting. Very small portion of meet considering the cost. Doner should NOT taste of coal from the Grill. Sack the chef he's S H I T !

We have ordered plenty of times before. I went to eat my chips. I picked up my burger. It was a hard bun with a lovely hint of mould. What is going on!?

Thought I’d try again after a few years. Kebabs turned up, stone cold. 1 salad box between 2. Mixed Doner had very little mix was mainly Doner meat.15% off before delivery, which happened to be the amount of the 15% Pitta tasted plastic

Awful service. REALLY awful food. Expected delivery times are a joke and they insist on delivering their unsolicited and unwanted menu at 8 am on Saturday mornings! PEOPLE DON'T NEED PRINTED MENU ANYMORE! they are a waste of money and go straight in the bin!!!!

Usually my go to Kebab, but recently i have been very disappointed with the food. When i order a kebab i expect the meat crammed inside the bread and sald and dressing on top. The last two times ive ordered they send us basically the ingredients of the kebab in various boxes so you put it together yourself and the salad they sent wasnt enough to fill an egg cup let alone three “kebabs”. Very disappointed, will be looking for an alternative. 😳😟🙁☹️😢

Went in last night after coming home after long day visiting was told kebabs were good …. Ordered 2 we got home and was terrible cold tasteless and meat was just bitty . Will never get kebabs from there again , shame as staff were polite and place clean

Ordered 2 chicken shish kebabs for delivery. They arrived within 45 minutes. Unfortunately both were totally cremated and not edible, I wouldn't feed it to my dog it was that bad. Both sides were just as bad. Tried calling, spoke to someone who just laid the phone down and left me on the call. After 10 minutes I hung up, tried calling again but now seems the call won't connect.

Normally have a takeaway delivery once a week from these guys food & delivery brilliant, last night baguette was so hard it could have filled in pot holes, chicken nuggets were so rubber could have sorted your shoes out, Tried to contact phone & email no response

Used to be one of if not the best burger place in town, now, well so poor, it is probably one of the worst. So tight with their salad and sauce, they make a right person look generous. With the town offering so many more places to eat, you would have thought they would react to the competition, but no, have got worse and just trading of an old but once good name. So sad.

Used to be brilliant, now just piss poor. Gone so far down hill that only the name is the same. Wouldn’t waste your time when there is so much more to be offered on the town

Typical Northampton Kebab shop, friendly staff and good "end of the night" food. Recomend chicken donner, spicy mushrooms, Hummus and flatbread and chips cheese and gravy.

The platter had perfectly boiled eggs, with side flavours of feta cheese, olives, with honey and butter to pair with bread. It was also served with a freshly made cup of Turkish tea. This breakfast was worth every bite.

Completly incompetent staff. 1st order was supposed to be Lamb Doner and Chicken Shish Combination. Came with no Chicken. Then replacement was Lamb Doner and lamb shish. So called to try to get what i ordered..... No sorry cant send you any more food. Shocking!!!!!!

WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!! NASTY AND DISGUSTI G !!!! Will not be coming back in a hurry to flames, ordered for 6.30pm and turned up at 7 did this specifically so the traffic had died down and when I phoned to complain not only was he unapologetic but guess what.....he said its the traffic !!! No it wasn't don't lie , I've been a delivery driver in Northampton for nearly 30 years and know how long it should take to get from town to Abington and you have so many different options!! And I'm not even going to mention the food !!@

Popped in for a kebab and some chips. Staff were miserabe and most stood around on their phones. Chips were soggy and cold. Kebab was just weird and unappetising. No point in complaining as they obviously didn't care.

The Iskender Kebab is delicious aswell as the chips. The prices are low, the staff are very friendly and helpful and they never leave you waiting long. The portions are also massive. Ive tried several kebab places and always come back to Flames. Best in the area.

Can't even call the thing i recieved "food". Burnt chicken breast in the sandwich, uncooked beef burger meat and the spicy wings were made atleast yesturday ( cold and smelled funny ). No wonder food hygene rating is 1/5..but didnt check before ordering. Guys , 1 advice , close the shop before some1 dies of food poisoning. Kind regards,

Been a regular customer for many years , I think it must have changed ownership as the chilli sauce ( main thing I loved was home made ), it’s now runny watery shi*e, , even the worst kebab meat could be good with the sauce they used to have , hadn’t ordered on a weekly basis untill today as the last few were crap, I thought I’d try again but no , it’s still crap 😳, shame as it used to be the best sauce around

Great food and opened until 3am which is great. I've had a few bits from there now and I can say it's spot on and really enjoyed.Even the misses ,loved the food,from filet burgers , doner kebab,chicken doner and all tasted very nice, recommended.

I got recommendations from colleagues about this place. Unfortunatelly can give max 2 stars for the food. Chiken kebab was raw or defrozed and cooked not properly. Pieces of salads (cucumbers and tomatoes) were slided in a big chunks,only good as a side and way too big to put in a burger, it was literally 1/4 of tomatoe placed on burger. And the worst - garlic souce. The taste is not even close to garlic, it's a simple mayo. So 2 stars for good custumer servise and burger meat.

Not tasty, dry, burgers without sauce, without salads and Instead of a steak burger, there was a bun and 3 thin slices of lamb. Wrap without sauce, just meat and vegetables wrapped in pita. Everything is cold, chicken wings are not crispy and cold. The first and last time I ordered there. Close your 'restaurant'.

Ordered pizzas that come to £17.85 an waited for delivery must have totally forgot about the food while watching a film wasn't until a few hours later I realised an they were closed so waited until today to call back an heard guy in background say it's not my problem is his fault rudely then the cheeky guy tried to get me to pay the same again for the food, been using this place for over 10 years I reckon and that one comment has put me off going back in there an spending another penny to feed his bankroll an pay for his luxuries. Really bad attitude from what I saw as my go to takeaway, let down by a business that's run where the customer is obviously wrong. Would have given 0 stars if I could

First time delivery order tonight. Wait supposed to be 45 minutes. After 75 minutes I finally spoke to someone who was completely unhelpful just advising there must be a delay as all their orders were out for delivery but no idea how much longer it would be. Finally arrived an hour late therefore barely warm. Content reasonable otherwise. Will not use again though. Suggest they start their own delivery service instead of relying on these large expanding companies disinterested in good customer service.

Was told 45 min for delivery food turned up 1 hour 45 min later. Food was stone cold not even warm. Rang them back to explain we are regular customers and they said they give us Money back but want the food back found it extremely rude like we wanted the cold stale food any way customer service a 0 star

Ordered a couple of meals and had half my order missing.. customer service was very poor, i called them up to say about it and had the phone hung up on me. I called back and the man was really rude and said if I had the rest of my order he was going to charge me. Ridiculous. Will not be ordering from here again. The food wasnt all that great either, kebab meat didn't seemed cooked and the chips seemed like yesterdays- stale.

Went in for a kebab tonight. They had 7 people working and they were all on their phones doing stuff. I stood for 10 mins and still no one noticed. Disgusting... crap service.... dont go there!!!!

Disgusting food yesterday - never ate the whole order which was £45 worth, meat was cold, chips were like they were constantly refried, wanted a refund even though none of food touched abusive staff and refused. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

I would have given this place no stars if I could. i ordered Fried chicken from here and it was burnt and had clearly not been kept properly because it was SO DRY. The chips were stale and the whole thing was like something out of a nightmare. After eating some of it, I had terrible stomach pains and felt sick, I then had minor diarrhea the next day. This place LITERALLY gave me food poisoning. This place is NOT SAFE to eat from. Avoid at ALL COSTS.

I ordered for delivery, the food wasn't as nice as usual and the delivery driver was extremely rude.My 13 year old son politely asked the driver not to bang on the door next time but to knock nicely.The driver got very angry and shouted at my son and said "don't ring me for order again" ,very rude and disrespectful.I will not order from here again.

Only place I've found that does my favourite, infamous pizza special. Wait for it... The baked bean pizza with a BBQ base. Keep judging, but trust me, it is a little piece of heaven. Also buy one get one free.

Chicken is always very chewy not like it used to be at all. My furbabies seem to always end up with mine. I break it into pieces and its like rubber. Such a shame been my favourite for over 20 year's the chicken was gorgeous and tasty when you bite into the chicken burger it would be a real treat to eat. Now the chicken is so tough it doesn't break when you take a bite its like rubber so you carnt eat it ☹☹☹

A surprisingly pleasant veggie feast pizza for a late-night fast food outlet. It was tricky to work out prices in advance, tho. The chap serving me was very helpful and friendly too.

Just got home after driving 7 miles to collect our kebabs and found raw chicken ! I phoned them up straight away and they reluctantly offered to deliver another one but said i had to pay the delivery cost of £4. I couldn't believe it but was too tired to drive back. No freebies, no apology. 😠 Advice for others - check the meat is cooked before you leave the premises.

Ordered food at half 7 didn’t arrive until quarter to 10! Food was cold by the time i received it and was not tasty at all. Ordered apple pie, was the same as a McDonald’s Apple pie except more expensive. Would not recommend.

This place serves one of the best fast foods in the town. Everything is always fresh and cooked to perfection. They have a variety of salads and sauces to go with the food. Staff here is very friendly and approachable always happy to help with yor order. Highly recommend to anyone that values high quality food and reasonable prices.

Always great at that time when you REALLY NEED A KEBAB OR BURGER. For me normally some were between 01:30 and 04:30 😀 on a weekend.

Actually we went Effes luv it. Food is so nice n flavorable.
