Yak And Yeti in Fife

Never had a bad meal. The food is delicious and always ready at arranged time for pick up. Staff are all pleasant and polite. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for Indian food.

On calling this restaurant, I was surprised to find the difficulty in ordering. Not only was the menu difficult to find online, but so was navigating the ordering process with the individual on the phone. Visiting friends in the area, this is one of their local and most used Chinese restaurants, we were surprised at the level of quality as well as customer relation. The food quality itself was satisfactory, but as mentioned in the title-it’s severely lacks competition as it is one of the only ones in the area, and by virtue of that fact, do not appear to challenge themselves either in quality or customer service. The food ordered arrived just outside of the window period provided on the phone by the individual taking the order. This was to be expected as I did not have a great deal of faith in the order being taken correctly. The individual who delivered the order was incredibly friendly and probably provided the best experience from ordering at this restaurant. If you order from here, you will need patience and a lot of understanding.

We visited on a Saturday evening prior going to an event. The service was slick and the staff were lovely - very attentive. The food tasted delicious- chicken tikka pakora was different to the usual even had a hint of pineapple in the dressing - and the mains were satisfying. I just wish we could have stayed longer - next time 👍🏻 we will indeed be back and will take our time to enjoy everything to the max !!

Yet another fabulous meal at the Yak and Yeti. It has become our go to date night venue. Food and staff are amazing . Also we go next door for live music and drinks.

Fab family lunch today - 3 courses for £12/£13. Excellent value for money. Food was delicious and portion size terrific. Service was first class and staff were friendly and efficient. Would defo recommend.

We had a great lunch at the buffet options today. We were a table of 11 and the service and food were exceptional. The buffet options were varied and included pasta and pizza for non curry eaters. All options were hot and refilled quickly and drinks service was good with attentive, welcoming and friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We visited here as we were staying at the Lethum Feus holiday park. Food in here is a bit different which we enjoy and we couldn’t fault any part of the meal. The prices were reasonable with 4 starters, 4 mains, rice and Nan, bottle of wine Irish coffee, 2 shots and a soft drink for £98.

We picked up a take away for 4 which was quite expensive and 20 minutes late to be completed, and all of us eating meat (3 of the 4) had stomach upsets of medium severity lasting into the next day. The food was of medium quality in taste/flavour.

The food heavy. No herbs in it. Omg the chicken poori was shocking. Big lumps of undercooked green pepper , v v v tiny amount of chicken in a omg greasy pancake. My pal had the paneer cottage cheese dish it looked great but no seasoning . This sorry is not a class act. Its below average. The service though was great Oh an the stuffed naan breads are shocking. They have less taste than a glass of water.

I was so looking forward to going here as I'd heard good things. We went & picked up a takeaway last Thursday but wish we hadn't bothered. My partner got a Donner calzone & my son a portion of Donner meat both of which were extremely dry & hard which was like it been cooked, frozen, recooked and left in the pot all day till we picked up at 9pm ish. Even the dog wouldn't eat it & he loves a sneaky bit Donner from my son. I got a chicken jalfreze which was the worst I'd ever had there was no spice to it, but was extremely sweet. Iv never had a jalfreze like it. I will admit the garlic nan bread was really good but I couldn't say that made it worth the trip nor the cost. I was so disappointed & left hungry. I certainly won't bother again.

Great, yet again. Another absolutely fab lunch. Chicken tikka and mixed pakaro for starters and Chicken Tikka masala and Chicken Jalfrezi. All good and great to talk to Ram again. Fab service highly recommend.

Took our friend's for their 40th wedding anniversary. We had the buffet, food was excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Service and food of the highest quality ..Sunday Buffet was on but we ordered from the extensive menu .Trust me when I say you will not be disspointed with the portion sizes or the taste. We had a starter, main course ,and a nan bread to share .Quite frankly we should have boxed up the remainder of our meal ( which we saw numerous people do) .I can't praise the staff enough for their attentive service .Our new go to place .

We have been to Yak & Yeti a couple of times now for the a la carte menu whch is outstanding. This is the first time we have been for the buffet by accident( My fault for not checking). Anyway the food was still great but we prefer the Al a carte. Will defo be back.

From the welcome to the food, to the staff, this restaurant is certainly worth a visit. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The food is certainly tasty and good value for money. Well done to all.
