Escribió una crítica brillante hace unas 6 semanas sobre este lugar. Volví esta noche y fue horrible. Esperamos más de una hora para 2 hamburguesas y un lado de patatas fritas. El personal simplemente nos ignoró y el hecho de que la comida llegó tarde. Sin disculpas. Cuando llegó la comida no fue agradable. La hamburguesa estaba fría y la envié de vuelta. La rubia parecía poco amigable e infeliz por esto: lo calentaron en el microondas. Fue horrible, las papas fritas tampoco estaban muy buenas. Esta es exactamente la misma comida que tuvimos cuando escribí la última crítica, la última vez fue increíble esta vez fue horrible y me costó 50 libras. También un montón de pequeñas moscas por todas partes, lo que era fuera de poner. Un mejor servicio al cliente habría sido un buen comienzo. Nada peor que gastar dinero en una comida pobre.

¡No puedo creer las críticas anteriores aquí! No los miré antes de que viniéramos por suerte. Tuvimos un almuerzo increíble! Ambos tuvimos una hamburguesa que era tan sabrosa probablemente la mejor hamburguesa que he tenido y las papas fritas eran increíbles! ¡Tan bueno y sazonado a la perfección! Todo seguido de un café y cannoli. 10 / 10 , gran hallazgo, tal vez tuvimos suerte, o tal vez las otras críticas están mal 🤷‍♀️

It's a good job North Street is interesting, as you're going to be people watching for hours until your food arrives. A game to keep you occupied is counting the number of Deliveroo drivers who get their food before you do. The staff try their best, but they shoehorn in far too many customers and the kitchen is so slow that they can't keep up. People get understandably annoyed (when I was there), and the staff just aren't trained to manage. Do yourself a favour, go get a pizza opposite.

Really disappointed with the menu change. Only flatbreads, burgers and gyros - none of the lovely small plates from before.

Such a shame! What was a really lovely choice as a vegan for breakfast is now somewhere I won't be recommending or choosing to come for breakfast anymore. A change of management has meant a menu change and the once excellent breakfast was reduced to something I could better in Tesco! Whoever management are they are potentially annoying a whole big market in this part of the city. The menu changes are obviously price driven but there person who made the changes obviously isn't vegan friendly either. Spoke to a member of staff who confirmed that they had already spoken to management about the changes and suggested they won't go down well but were ignored. Good luck as you have lost this vegan's business as a result.

There isn't much one needs to say about Yafo, other than that it is AMAZING! Traditional (but not commonly available elsewhere!) Levantine delights with a modern twist and prepared with attentiveness to detail. Yummy for vegans and vegetarians (or meat eaters who are having a 'day off'). What the almighty commanded!

20 January 24 - I went out to Yafo with 5 of my friends - first time out for a meal with the girls since I had had my baby. Firstly my food arrived late. My dish arrived last to our table, approx an hour after the order. Everyone else at my table had by that time eaten. They were apologetic and offered me a free drink for the lateness. I noticed my order arrived without the side salad it was meant to be with. So I asked for that. Then I bit into my food - a vegan chicken skewer - and it was frozen in the middle.... The aubergine that arrived as a side salad was also undercooked. So I simply ate the chips and hummus. I asked for a refund. The staff was very apologetic but I won't be eating here again. Which is a shame. I wouldn't recommend this as a good experience. UPDATE: My friend was sick that night and she thinks it was the burger she ordered.

What an excellent establishment. The food was superb, probably the best falafels in Bristol. The staff were courteous and helpful, the atmosphere was great with the owners taking the time to see if we were happy. They had some great original ethnic 3d mural artwork on the wall and the decor and ambiance was also original and unique. I have recommend this place to my friends and am looking forward to my next visit when i’m in the mood for some decent homemade middle eastern food.

The food was really good but the owner was so incredibly rude to the staff in front of us. We Spoke to one of the staff and they told us that the owners are often times very rude and threatening to staff and customers, will not be returning.

My restaurateur and blogger friends can eat their words. I was recommended this place but they got it mixed up with ‘Eat a Pitta’, in Bristol. Eat a Pitta is the place to go! Not this place. This place ‘Yafo’ is a shoddily run business. I feel sorry for their beautiful staff; they even politely declined a tip from our behalf… We immediately felt they knew more about food, coffee, wine and beer than they were allowed to let on. To us this was an alarm bell. In my industry, it’s a warning sign of poor and inexperienced business owners running a bodge job. Once again, owners having more money than sense. Sitting in there gave me a headache. Awful, unfashionable artwork upon the walls as well. I give it three years ‘til these rookies turn the place into an off-licence or a budget phone SIM card place; just to make a quicker buck. It’s too brightly lit, an absolute disaster to host a soirée in. Whoever designed the interior has Van Gogh’s ear for music. I fiercely support independent businesses but not ones like these. I would literally rather have a high street chain shop on this otherwise interesting road on Bristol’s North Street. I would feel more comfortable, culturally educated and community based, by merely popping into a local laundrette or fried chicken shop. ‘Authentic’ my left foot. Extortionate rubbish. Cheapskates.

Absolutely brilliant service despite being really understaffed, the team are an absolute credit to the business and couldn’t have been any nicer. Stunning food as well!

I had an allergic reaction to a dish at this restaurant that had chopped peanuts sprinkled on top. It wasn't written on the menu. They didn't charge me for the meal, but it was still negligence.

First visit to this gem on North Street. Really tasty food and great atmosphere, didn't have to wait too long for service and friendly and attentive staff. It was my friends birthday and they'd overheard our conversation and presented us with a glass of Prosecco and Baklavas! Highly recommend if you've not been, will certainly be going back.

Always loved it here as the food is great and staff usually very attentive. However yesterday we were served in disposable cardboard dishes- I asked the manager and it seemed obvious she wasnt that happy about it either. Its irresponsible given the necessary waste generated and frankly lazy, plus I would much rather eat off crockery than cardboard I eont be returning if they continue with this stupid policy.

This was my third time here and they've let standards slip. I asked for water which never came, they sat us at tables and never told us you had to go in to order so we were waiting for ages. We also had to ask for cutlery and the waiter leaned over my food twice. So unhygienic and unprofessional. They need a lesson in customer service but the food is tasty. They should do the falafel salad in the evening!

Came all the way from Cambridge to experience amazingly tasty Israeli food. Great pitta, felafel, hummus, sabich, sweet pastries and Turkish coffee. Good ambience. Friendly staff. It was well worth the journey. Highly recommended.

A late lunch with friends, mostly vegan or veggie. There were so many options for us all. I had the Oyster wings, once you’ve tasted these you’d never order chicken again. Everyone cleared their plates, it was faultless. The employee that looked after us was amazing too. Patience with the kids when they took an age to order. Offered recommendations if we needed them. Pay this place a visit!

If I could rate this higher than a 5, I would! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff who really knew the menu. The food was picture perfect and tasted incredible. We opted for the small plates and each one was super tasty. I would highly recommend a visit.

Had a great Turkish breakfast here - place very friendly and the Turkish eggs and vegan breakfast were both very good. Nice staff too.

I was working hard so ordered a falafel salad with mango pickle. My mouth just watered thinking about it. Absolutely delicious!!

Food was really tasty, especially the hummus and pita. Nice atmosphere. Do book as it’s very popular (and small). Be aware that dishes marked as spicy are very spicy. Keen to return.

The stuffed malawach is INCREDIBLE, just wish it was twice as big! Came here with a friend and had a lovely brunch. I’d advise booking a table as it gets very busy.

Food all came at different times so some people had finished by the time other people hadn't even been served. Complained and given no explanation. Very disorganised for simple food, very disappointed.

Party of 4 people, we have waited for 40 minutes to get a breakfast. Only two friends got their order, whilst the renaming didn't get anything after 1 hour wait. Personally I think they just forgot about it. Refund requested. Overall, not a good experience.
