Visited this place with my friends had Turkish Tea and Knafeh. They freshly made the Knafeh. We loved it highly recommended

Please change the closing times since you close at 22:30 NOT 23:00!! So people don’t bother stopping after 22:30… Very dissatisfied and disappointed!

Amazing customer service provided by bossman Khalid. Friendly and approachable and their desserts and beverages are banging! Big up Khalid showed bare love

I dont like it .never trust of fake reviews. I'm really disappointed pay £20 for horrible tast .alot of sugar also it seem very old as the taste weird.ill never try it again.

Odered two kunafahs for 18:15 but they kept delaying the delivery time till I got it at around 20:40. The kunafahs were cold and tasteless.

I went with my family during Ramadan for the first time. It had a really nice vibe. Staff were very friendly, amazing service. The coffee was nice and strong, very authentic and definitely will be returning soon.

Paid £9.00 for a medium size Knafeh today . It was wafer thin a told the guys behind counter that it’s gone to small and he gave me a lame excuse that they all the medium size ones come standard like that I just couldn’t explain to him that it’s not the size of the knafeh , but it’s gone thin hardly any cheese and luckily I have a picture when we dinned in last time . It’s one or the other new owners or they cutting cost. Definitely not worth £9.00 . It’s clear in the picture the difference !!

Really nice clean shop. My knafeh was made fresh and tasted really nice. Definatelly would recommend and i will be back.

Very delicious authentic middle eastern and turkish sweets

I recently visited Yafa Knafeh on Coventry Road in Birmingham, and it was an absolute delight! Their authentic Palestinian kunafeh was one of the best I’ve ever had, crispy on the outside, perfectly cheesy, and full of flavor. The baklava was just as impressive, with the right balance of crunch, sweetness, and rich nutty filling. They also offer a great selection of hot teas and cold drinks The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy traditional Middle Eastern treats. I highly recommend Yafa Knafeh to anyone looking for high-quality, authentic sweets!

We arrived as a group from outside Birmingham,to find a good service but what happened is completely different, we left very upset 😭, because staff been shouting to some of the ladies in the group ,I'm not recommending the place to any one 6:45 pm on 19th February 2025

Perfect kunafeh. Lots of hot and cold drink options. Great place to chill on a cold or hot day. The ku ache platters of all sizes make the ideal work or party gift idea.

Love this gem! Went to Turkey recently and even that was not as good as this for baklava and Turkish coffee

Im addicted to it ever since i have tried i think i have ordered it more than 20 times and i cant get over it. Its too good.

Its very upsetting that your staff closes the store 35 mins before actual timings written on google. If you want to close at 10:15 onwards, then pls change your timings from google. This has happened to us twice now. And your staff is so rude that they don’t even bother coming to the door, they keep doing what they’re doing ignoring customers standing at their doorsteps. We come after a 40 mins drive and are regular customers. Very disappointed!

Came to this place with the misses. First and foremost was very impressed with the cleanliness. It's evidently shows the way the business is run. Everything was organised and tables had all been wiped down. Ordered 1 special tea and 1 mocca tea. Both tasted beautiful. Didn't get a chance to try the sweets but I'm told they are amazing. The kunafah they make is said to be one of the best.

Wouldn't even give it a single star if I had a choice. Rude staff, never smile, arrogant, and greedy. Coventry Rd is full of cafés, which is better than this place. Go where you are respected and appreciated for bringing custom to their business.

Authentic Kunefa Baklawa is absolutely gorgeous and rich with nuts and CRISPY filo Food is top notch , that is if you have a sweet tooth. Not for feeble hearted

Very good customer service and Knafeh tasted beautiful. Great selection of sweets and there is a spacious area upstairs. Only downside, when we visited the toilet which is located upstairs was out of order, so we couldn’t wash our hands.. wet wipes should’ve been provided.

Great knafeh, beautiful interior and polite staff

I had Knafeh in Saudi Arabia, Syria and other Arab countries And even in London. All the shops selling Knafeh asks the customer if you want the sugar syrup on the Knafeh or separate. The guy serving on the counter never asked and they put too much sugar syrup on the Knafeh when I complained to the shop owner he was really rude and said well that's how it is served everywhere and never even offered an apology. So we ended up wasting our money. It was the worst experience of my life

Decent place nothing wow but does the job turkish tea was decent but they forgot to add the mint and the kanafeh was decent, very limited seating but overall decent place.

. I recently revisited the establishment, but this time my experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service was shockingly rude and unprofessional, making the visit unpleasant from the start. The butter used for the kunafa tasted very cheap, and the cheese was outright rotten. The taste and smell were unbearable, rendering the kunafa inedible. As a Palestinian, I know how it should taste with better quality butter. Initially, when the shop opened, everything was of top quality, but gradually, the standards have declined. The kunafa and baklava, once incredibly amazing, are no longer the same. It used to be my favorite place, not just for the taste but also to interact with the lovely staff. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dessert experience. Save your money and find a place that values both its customers and the quality of its products. I give 1 STAR for the Turkish tea only.

One of the best Knafehs I have had so far in the Midlands ,, However in my opinion their Baqlawas are Indeed the best 👍 Friendly staff and nice to eat in too, I will return for more. I recommende

If you're going to provide toilet for customers to use, please ensure its kept clean. The basin was filthy, no hand wash and broken hand dryer. Knafeh is ok, not too bad. The baklava was atrocious, the bottom layer was as tough as old boots. The juice was half foam, literally. The table was soo slippery, it was a struggle to keep the plates still. We were struggling to cut our knafeh whilst fighting to keep the plates still. We did not enjoy our experience at all. Only plastic utensils provided, no metal or even plastic knife.

Poor service. Stood there for 5 mins in an empty shop and they wouldn’t serve me. Walked out, waste of time.

The kunafeh I ordered was delicious and lived up to its reputation. The portion size was incredibly generous, with the large size easily serving more than ten people, rather than the five I had anticipated.

I tried the tea, different cakes, sweet and Ferrero rocher icecream. All of them were top top top. The service was amazing too

Decided to come in whilst walking down Coventry road, and it was well worth it. Starting off, the place was very clean and inviting. The staff were helpful and treated us good. However, the sweets were absolutely delicious! I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were but they really exceeded my expectations. The milkshake could do with a little bit of work (more ice cream to milk) but it was still good. Will definitely return if in the area.

The prices are a bit high. I order some desserts baklava not knowing the price when I asked the young lady the price of the dessert plates, she didn't know she let me choose then packed it then told me the price which was more then she estimated in the first place. I was to embarrassed to say no at that point!

Visited Yafa Knafeh over the weekend after overhearing about a “knafeh place on Coventry Road”. After a quick Google search, we deduced that this must be the place. I am so glad we found this joint, because this was one of the best knafehs I have ever had. I believe each of the cheese knafehs is freshly made and the prices were very reasonable. In fact we got a medium and we were surprised it was so big! We also got each one of the biscuits to try. They were tasty, but for me the nut maamouls could have had more filling and more a touch more flavour. But that is personal preference after all. I am known to like my orange blossom and rose water, whereas others might find it too strong. Still a worthy 5 star. We also had the chocolate basbousa which was again, very tasty and very decadent. Polished by my boys… I barely got a look in. Speaks for itself really. The place itself has beautiful decor and is kept very clean and tidy indeed. I just wish there were labels with names and prices for each of the bakery items.

Best baklava and best taste just communication can be improved . Good for events and parties too.

I had the green tea with mint and I can say that at home I drink it better, I didn't like it at all. I got a large baklav but they didn't have the cutlery to cut it and it was very difficult to eat it.

FRESHLY MADE KUNAFE, SO SO TASTY AND CUTE LIL HUB TO DINE IN. RECOMMENDED

This is an Arabic sweet centre serving a variety of middle eastern sweets, hot and cold drinks. The premises are clean and beautifully presented. The staff are polite and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a sweet tooth and wants to try something different. There is a selection of sweets containing nuts deliciously roasted. My family loves their signature sweet dish knafeh. There is seating available inside the shop for a quick coffee break. I think if you take the challenge of visiting once, you will definitely go back again and again.

The bakhlava selection is amazing but what's more amazing is the kanafa. Only 1 issue, kanafa wasn't sealed so all the oil/syrup dropped over my clothes!

Hi. I’ve seen the replies you’ve put here, so I’m really not expecting much back. The kanafeh of course was lovely, it’s what I came for and what I brought my friends for. We were 3 women wanting to eat in, me my sister and my friend who travelled here just to try it. When grabbing forks the man at the counter said “eating in?” as if he was shocked and said can you go upstairs please. We did this willingly with no obligation and accepted to go upstairs and we were, we heard the shouts from the kitchen “it’s Ramadan” as if we should not be eating. This made my friend extremely uncomfortable and upset us all because again we went up willingly and understandingly. There was no need to shame us for not fasting because as EVERYONE KNOWS women cannot fast the whole of Ramadan. My friend was very anxious to leave the place and I had to spend 5 minutes coaxing her that it was ok and we exited. Please just be considerate of everyone. I love what you sell and think you have a beautiful business. But this experience has deeply upset us all, I have recommended lots of friends here which is something I don’t feel the need to now.

Not really a Kanafeh fan but they made it fresh and warm. I really enjoyed it while it was warm. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love baklava & have found it really hard to find good quality authentic baklava that tastes like it should. Well today I found the best I’ve had in the UK. Travelled about 12 miles & had to park about 15 minutes away on foot but I will gladly do it again. Lied it & will definitely be going back many more times. Excellent baklava, excellent customer service & the shop was spotlessly clean. 10/10 from me.

This is where I usually come to have my turkish coffee and konafha. Unfortunately, today service was very bad. I came around 9pm while they close at 11pm but they refuse to give us a table. I came with others who drove from another city to show them this place but was told its takeaway only cause they are closing! Why! change your timing or something. The staff was not even happy to see us, he was taking our order while taking money from another person and giving food to another, we repeated our order like 3 times, zero attention was given, i even thought at one point did he even know what we want after ordering. Anyhow we decided to sit and eat outside on the benches but the bench was partially went from one end so i requested for the chair they have inside and the staff said straight NO without a single hesitation or excuse. Very rude, very unprofessional bunch of people very poor customer service. Not coming here again.

This place is so good for Arabic sweets, my family always tend to go here for any occasions. We usually buy a couple of trays of mixed baklava that includes small chocolate and caramel ones which are absolutely delicious The service here is top tier as well. I have been a few time and tried various desserts and drinks that they offer, the latest was the actual kunafa which was amazing, the chef made isn’t special for us by making the vermicelli extra smooth with no rough bits which is exactly how we used to have it back home in Palestine, special thanks to the chef for this! It tasted nearly identical. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Palestinian sweets, reasonably priced, and always leave you wanting more

Kunefah is very good, you should eat. Tea is good. But baklava could be better.

The baklava wasnt bad but they always have hidden charges. The price changes when you’re about to pay.

Went to get a Knafeh after having our lunch in a nearby restaurant. The restaurant looked very inviting and the guy who took our order was very friendly( Not sure, may be the owner of the shop- not implying he was friendly because of that) I am not very familiar with the Knafeh, so I am not an expert to comment, but it was a treat for us taste buds, me and my kids loved it.

I always come here when craving something sweet as I know I’ll find something to satisfy my craving. Various of options to choose from, many kinds of baklava and they also sell the best fresh coffee. I normally get Balah alsham and waraybat but I also tried their pistachio baklava and oush albulbul and they were absolutely amazing! Friendly service. Great seating area on the first floor and outside ( when the weather is nice). If you ever crave stretchy kunafa, this place has the best!
