Had breakfast, Halwa puri and Nahari was Delicious!!

What a pleasure it was to have lunch here! I visited with my family on the first day of Eid, and the quality of the food was even better than on regular days. I've noticed in many restaurants that during busy times, the standards of cooking, taste, and service often drop. But that wasn't the case here. Even on Eid Day, when the place was busy, the staff remained humble and professional. Truly a great experience!

We celebrated a birthday here last week and the service was excellent. The food was very tasty. Very organised when taking seperate orders and bringing the food. Also when bringing the birthday cake to the table. Highly recommended.

Mutton seekh kabab, Mutton nahari , roti, roghni naan and halwa puri chana These all we had till now and was seriously delicious

Lovely atmosphere, loved the Brain Masala. Shame they don't do coffee.

Lovely food and the atmosphere. Every item is tasty. Their mixed kebab and mango items are must to try. I really loved their concern about customer satisfaction. I would say most friendly stuffs.they know how to respect their customers. Today we have been served by Mr. Dani he was soo friendly sincere and helpful. Im praising them because i went there with my 7 month old daughter and today was my 2nd visit to their place. But one thing bothered me is that- in most asian restaurants they serve papadrum nd some chatney complimentary but here u have to pay 2.5 pounds.

Had breakfast in the Restaurent and Ordered takeaway also. When opening in the evening to eat, one nan was missing. It’s a total disappointment.

The taste was not as expected. Their food is overpriced. I ordered quite a few take away food. Some of them looked like that they were not freshly made. How ever, over all the food was just ok.

Hareesa was spot on, with roghni naan. Halwa puri was also good. The staff is very courteous.

We were a group of around 15 ladies, and from start to finish, everything was spot on. A special shoutout to Arman, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Absolutely loved AlamGir! As a family of chefs who grew up near Jama Masjid in Delhi, we’ve long craved that deep, slow-cooked flavour profile we knew so well. AlamGir’s Nihari is a masterclass in balance — the spices are layered beautifully, with a rich, velvety gravy that clings to the tender meat. It's the kind of dish where you taste the hours of simmering in every bite. The Chicken Malai Boti was perfectly marinated — creamy, smoky, and melt-in-the-mouth. Even our 6-year-old couldn’t resist! We’ve already been twice this week. A true gem for anyone who appreciates real depth of flavour.

Amazing service and top quality food as well as good portion sizes. Definitely recommend and has parking at the back.

I ordered a tawa keema handi. Very bland. Did not enjoy it at all. However, my family ordered the chicken zigger burger meals. They went down a treat!! Atmosphere was nice and staff were very attentive.

A very nice environment and very cooperative staff, and the taste was amazing. For the first time in my two years in the UK, I felt that there’s actually a good restaurant for breakfast. I highly recommend trying Alamgir.

Had a great experience and food at Alamghir. Their Manager Noman is an amazing person! And he was right about it when he said their taste is better than Apna Lahore. Maza agaya!!! So we would always eat payye from Apna Lahore, but due to waiting line there we came to Alamghir and nothing beats their payye and naan chaney!! Best best best!!!!! Best desi food in UK. Their manager Noman and the girl Baljeet both were really sweet and generous!! Delicious food! Yummmmm. Highly recommended if you wanna taste real lahori food! Do visit!!!!

Was served by a very nice waiter. We ordered Nihari, daal Milai chicken and fish with rogahani Naan. Everything was flavoursome, Noman the manager came over to check that we were satisfied also. All staff were very welcoming and food tasted flavoursome.

First visit at alamgir restaurant at lady pool Road was very delicious And restaurant very clean we can’t believe it thanks alamgir management and specially Manger Nouman we come back soon.

Very nicely decorated restaurant serving authentic karahi. Really enjoyed the malai boti, fish pakora and lamb karahi. Only negative is they should sell Salaam Cola or Barr Cola instead of the brands implicit in war crimes.

I have been few times to this Restaurant with family and friends and travelled from Reading to Birmingham almost 2 hours journey but it's worth to travel that far. , The customer service which is phenomenal and overwhelming, food quality is very hygienics and delicious. I tried their Alamgir platter, fantastic tawa keema and their lamb karahi are best choices. Ooh of course there is a big Yesss for their loaded fries for the kids. Highly recommended😍🌟👌👆

We tried Alamgir for the first time , it has been absolutely a pleasure to be here the staff was very kind especially Sheroz and saman they were polite and warm on engagement with us. Lovely place for curry lovers! I am a regular visit for breakfast here. The food here is rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying, with spices masterfully layered to create bold yet balanced flavors. The halwa Puri breakfast is a must-try—fluffy puris paired with spicy chickpeas and decadently sweet halwa make for a heavenly start to the day. Parking is stress-free, thanks to a dedicated lot at the back of the restaurant and also a paid parking opposite the restaurant.

Best Aloo paratha in town and amazing chicken karahi. Very hospitable and looked after us all very well.

Awesome service, always available when needed, nice seating upstairs. Private parking at the back so no need to worry especially with busy lady pool road. Food was lovely, fish pakora starters tasty, lamb chop was nice, mango lassi was probably the best I've had in any place I've been, cooking and refreshing. Would happily come back again.

Worst experience, Eid Day had the breakfast, paid the bill in cash to the waiter and had the manager running on the street saying “brother you didn't pay bill”, he is lucky I was with my family otherwise I would have broken his nose, very unprofessional and rude staff, he went back inside and found that the girl behind counter didn't put the money in the till. He apologised but too late for that

Was a late joiner for iftaar and luckily we got a table The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection I would definitely recommend and come back again
