Second time I have been sent dried up hard chicken liver. Disappointing since I complained about this before & was told it would not happen again. You sent me yesterdays leftovers. And half of the Veechu Roti was dried up to a crisp like a popadom

Crab curry with nothing but onion and chilly and only 2 pieces of a half crab absolutely disgusting wasted money and left us hungry

I order crab curry as always but it was a bit different today, was like soup 😅 a bit disappointing but I hope next time will be better as before. And plus I didn’t get my stamp I hope will be there before my next order.

I don't know what happened to my food. Soya Meat Curry was very bland. Just didn't taste as good as it used to. No red peppers in either dish. Did not taste as good. Very disappointed. Maybe the chef is on the holiday.

Food was nice but didn't get what I ordered. I ordered a fish briyani. But got a sea food mix briyani. Got upset as I ordered for my kids

The food is usually really good, but this time it was a bit disappointing. The gravy for kotthu was super oily and tasted really bad.

Worst food I ever ate.I ordered crab fry and chicken fried rice its very hard to eat.fried rice smells raw chicken.and crab is not cleaned well.i got waste also in that.underrated food

It’s always very good. Last order was missing a spring roll - which is only annoying because the prices are high these days. But it is a very good restaurant. Do note. Collection menu more expensive than delivery. So delivery charge hidden.

I'm not south Indian but love the food. This place really does have good options. Try the meat rolls mutton rolls. Also the lamb curry. This curry is very spicy. So not for the faint hearted. They should offer options on how spicy u want it.

Ordered through uber. Got a sea food kotthu and chicken 65. Sea food kotthu was not flavourful and had fish bones in it. Chicken 65 was passable There are better alternatives in East Ham

Nice food in good portions at reasonable prices. I had the veg set meal, onion bhaji, and milk tea. Very filling and good quality. Friendly staff.

I’ve ordered from here many times and the quality standards remain the same if not better. If I have any further information to add before or after ordering the yaal team are more than happy to help. The food is always outstanding and I savour every bite. The chicken devil is 10/10

The food was to die for! Best Sri Lanka food around barking riverside to order, so glad this is here. The best ones were mutton cutlets, vegetable kothu roti, fish set meal was super, mutton biriyani is made by true srilanlankans and not typical Bengali style you get around london!, saman was beautiful . Chicken curry was okayish and hope they introduce more chicken varieties like chettinad or others than than the basic one at the moment. Will definitely be ordering again

Very nice staff, good food but unfortunately the food was too (TOO) spicy even though we use to eat spicy Indian/slk food… Please guys reduce spices for the next time 😅 Otherwise nice place to go !

Yaal restaurant _East Ham It is a dine in restaurent. There food is devine taste. You can request how spicy for your tast. It has south Indian twist, the food is devine, so delious. I would place order for parties& weddings. You can pre order large order via telephone, although you may need to request In advance few days before an event, such as weddings.

The Paneer curry was horrible and the parota was too old and hard like a rock I wouldn’t order from this place again

Didn't update status of order once it was ready, ended up calling a few times for an update as it was past expected delivery but staff just rush to get you off the phone saying it is almost there before even asking for order details, food arrived late and cold, and honestly with the time it had taken from order to delivery it felt like a joke Never ordering from here again

Never ordering it again. If your restaurant is busy and you can’t deliver on time you should never accept orders.

Worse customer service ever and delivery is more than 2 hours wait. Never ordering again. Ordered for lunch and got it for dinner.

The food is always nice , but this time the chef dropped a full bucket of chilli 🌶 powder in mutton curry and mutton rolls, it was uneatable went straight in bin . Please cut down abit on chilli 🌶

Love this place. Get food delivered regularly - super spicy, which is the appeal for me. My faves are gobi Manchurian, paneer curry, chilli chicken, kothu rothi and the huge amazing rotis. Might take a while to arrive but worth the wait.

Got Gobi pakoda(very dry & tasteless) instead of Gobì 65 for full price. When called restaurant about issue they said will investigate & return in 5-10min but no response yet been 4 days now.

Worst delivery service, I should have trusted previous reviews. It was 45 minutes late and I had to call twice, worrying the resturant was due to close and I might not receive my order. The delivery man was incredibly rude and mocked me on the phone. And then they continue calling me multiple times at 10pm saying my order was wrong, when I had examined it was entirely correct. On top of this, the food honestly isn't great. And that is an honest review, no food is worth that hassle, but even if it had arrived on time I would have been disappointed. Mutton was about 90% gristle, everything was too salty. Not nice and I had to block their number so they stopped pestering me.

Absolutely disgusting I ordered squid fry not squid soup so much water in the squid you can eat it with a spoon Raita yogurt missing and mutton curry cold as the rest of the food after waiting 2 hours such a big disappointment definitely I will skip this restaurant for future orders

This place is top notch! I ordered takeaway lunch of curries and rice, paratha and onion baji. The daal and spinach curry was so delicious I could eat it everyday! All the food is absolutely delicious and freshly made. The staff were lovely too. Excellent place!

Amazing food, there’s a lot of reviews sayings it’s too spicy, and while it is very very spicy this is the authentic spice level of Sri Lankan food! Normally placed will make it less spicy for English tastes but I love that they’ve kept it how it’s supposed to be.

The food is really good, and the prices are very considerate. This is a good shop to takeaway from, not to dine-in. The service is only okay but can’t really complain for the price. The food has authentic South Asian flavours and spices. A Very good south Asian takeaway restaurant.

Authentic Sri Lankan & Tamil cuisine in a small, cute & homely atmosphere. Only that the 2 dishes I tried, one lamb (kudal varuval) and one chicken (chukka), tasted identical, but I'd definitely go back to try more different dishes from the interesting menu. 😆 Good service too.

Ordered mutton and veg rolls, as always was perfect and was early which was a bonus

Veechu roti was nice, but the devilled squid contained more onions and bell pepper than actual squid and it was swimming in oil. The brinjal was nice but was again swimming in oil. The vegeteble rolls where ok.

They don't accept card. That tax frauds (doggy PPL😂).

Good quantity but too spicy for me unfortunately. Delivery guy refused to come up the stairs to my flat and said it’s policy. No other delivery person had this problem during covid and lockdown.

Food is excellent, just let down by constantly delivering late!!!

In summary: 1. Really poor quality food: in particular hard dried out fried cassava, chicken that was not properly hot, over-dry fish. Dessert ordered was not available. 2. Advertised delivery range: 40-55 mins; delivery time offered when order confirmed: 1 hr 20 mins. 3. When I tried to cancel because of the extra long delivery time (on a Tues early evening, distance c. 1 mile!), I was told by the restaurant I could do so - there was no mention of a charge. 4. When I checked on Just Eat's website however, it informed me that there would be a 50% cancellation fee because the food had begun to be prepared. In reality, I phoned the restaurant immediately I was given the delivery time, couldn't get through for c. 5 minutes because their line was busy, but still spoke to them within 5 minutes of the online order being made. So I question whether ANY preparation had started (and whether Just Eat had checked that with the restaurant), let alone enough to justify a punitive charge of 50%. 5. Just Eat seem to have you over a barrel - they can say what they like on the website and then if they fail to live up to that and you want to cancel (at the earliest opportunity) as a result, they get to charge you 50%. 6. Very poor response from customer 'service' team.

Delicious food! Loved all of it. Good prices and value for money.

I love hot spicy food but this was just far too hot even though we requested it not to be to have lots of chilli However the mildest thing strangely was chilli paneer and this is particularly good. Can't understand why they also have to put so much chilli in vegetable fried rice.

Food is good, but any fry items are burnt.. if you avoid any fry items. Then it's worth the money.
