One of the worst restaurants ever in London Don't visit

They should be in the Guinness world record for the worst restaurant in London. Menu had stains I didn't want to even touch it. The floor looked like it's never been mopped. Same person that took the order was in the kitchen making the food as well. Most of the items on the menu wasn't available so had to eat something I didn't want. The food quality was so bad we left 80% of the food behind. The toilet was so dirty, sink had stains and no toilet roll, luckily my inlaws lived couple roads down so my wife and daughter went to her mums to use the toilet. Also had no water bottles so I had to go across the road to buy some. How they got a rating over 4 is jokes. I give it max till the end of the year before shut down.

1st time I’m ever giving someone a 1star. Extremely poor customer service had to walk out. The shop had no one in there. Staff had no idea wants available. They kept coming back saying food on the menu wasn’t available. These reviews must me fake. Owner walk in like he doesn’t care. Had to ask if the food was fresh as I started doubting the place. Im glad we walked out pre disaster. Such a shame. Then owner had the nerve to make remarks after we walked out.. you really need to reflect on your customer service.. such a shame as we’re also locals.

Terrible. It was empty and it was definitely empty for a reason. First of all, despite being open for almost a year, it looked as if it had been open for decades. Everything was so messy and dirty and there were scratches everywhere. The cutlery and plates that were given to us were dirty, and I found this weird brown stuff on my fork. As soon as I saw that, I knew I couldn’t expect anything good. The menu was okay with lots of variety, but with prices like those, I thought I’d be getting top quality food. The food was tasteless and dry - waste of £100. They spent so long on the food that you’d think they’d be making it with lots of spices and flavours! Only thing good was the service to be honest. Personally, wouldn’t come back here again but each to their own.

We had Iftar and it was lovely, specially their presentation,

We were five people during ifter time. And one of us didn't want to eat so we wanted to order four food dishes, but they said "we didn't allow share, you have to order five" this is very bad for me.

Had a booking here for around 20 people, food was very nice and hot, so many items were given, everyone enjoyed the experience, staff were great.

The food was really tasty. It is affordable and definitely would recommend my friends and family members , we appreciate your service 👍🏻

Staffs were good, but Iftaar item was poor in quality. One or two tiny pieces like 1/2" size lamb meat in biryani, fried all iftar items were burnt and inside cold, tasted like all those were left from yesterday's iftaar! And dessert was worst! Don't know what was that made of, just horrible! Who puts big size whole peanuts with red skin on top of deserts? Took one spoon and left it as it was. Means waste of money and foods. I have checked your reviews , whoever gave 1★ and wrote about their dissatisfactions you took them as your competitor but you don't have the gut to accept your lacking of knowledge how to run a new business, how to make foods presantable, how to maintain quality of foods. Only good behaviour of stuffs isn’t enough to run your business ahead unless you improve your food quality. And not necessary every customer is your enemy! Who wants to spend £20-30 for per person, only to give you bad reviews? It is Ramadan, and we were fasting, so we didn’t want to waste foods, only for that reason we ate some, otherwise we were about to leave after seeing all burnt foods! Train your chefs first, it is essential for your restaurant at this moment. All the best for your future journey.

First and last time, i'm afraid! Food is not to the standard i expected, especially given the advertising hype. Impressions can be misleading, i guess. Understood the set menu for Iftar, but it was certainly not worth the plate price. Would've put up with everything else (service & atmosphere) that was inadequate if food was good, but homemade tastes better at home for us. Can't comment on menu items, but judging by similar reactions from others sitting, the place needs to massively improve to get anyone returning. Also, customers have a right to say how the experience was and give honest feedback. it's not professional to respond in a rude and unapologetic manner.

Service and atmosphere were good, but food was awful, almost all items burned out, not freshly cooked. Fixed iftar without disclosure of menu and overpriced.

Suddenly came to Rasoi Reataurat for Iftar in a rainy day, The Iftar package was really a nice combiation of Ruh Afza, Lamb Biryani with Samusa, Sola, Jilapi, The special was Sylheti Jau. The environment was really nice and well served. Liakat Vai was really nice and caring. Surely I'll come back again.

I was extremely disappointed with the food.I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not be returning.

A huge waste of money The food was tasteless Presentation was average at best. Very cold and lacked atmosphere Continuing: After leaving a honest review I get a reply accusing me of coursing with another Resturant (who that is he fails to mention) and then says he checked the cctv and was informed of my rude and aggressive behaviour by his staff !! Yet it was only him and his sons that were there !! The truth is I dealt with him directly and called him over quietly to inform him politely of the horrible taste and I was told it is because his business is new and his working things out (from his own mouth) If he has me on cctv I encourage him to upload it on this platform so that everyone can see how he is a lier. It’s a re-occurring situation where it’s for all to see that anyone who leaves a negative review is accused of the same thing. I paid my bill even thou I returned most of the items ordered only tasted because it was not consumable and he (the boss) himself saw me to the door and asked me to come back and hopefully the food would be better. He now has the audacity to say not to come back 😡 not that I intended to. Stop being defensive and suspicious and start improving your food and services so that you don’t have to deal with negative feedback and that you can stop accusing your fellow businesses of corruption.

Fantastic Halal food! Definitely get the lamb Bhuna it is amazing and out of all the restaurants I have been to, this has served by far the best lamb Bhuna 🔥

Food was 10/10. We got the lamb bhuna and chicken tikka biryani. Food was very flavoursome and very delicious. Will be back again. Highly recommend

Brilliant service and excellent tasty food. We ordered a mixed platter, lamb jalfrezi, bombay aloo, rice and 2 nan breads. Jalfrezi was how it should be...hot. Do not be put off by the negative reviews. Try it!!!

Drove past Rosai a few times and always wanted to try it since they opened and finally got the chance. I have to say the food hit the right spot. Customer service was exceptional and genuine. Staff is extremely friendly. It's definitely a family friendly environment. I would go back again soon and from my personal experience I'd recommend others to go and try it out. Thank you guys so much will see you again!

Nice food, enjoyed it, cool interior, night out with the lads, only opened 7-8 wks, decent price, owner and staff are very friendly, service was wonderful, deffo recommend. The food is rich in flavour and has that distinctive aroma that we all love.

Just had a really lovely meal in the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff and had a really great lamb biryani.

It wasn't my choice to come here, driving past it many times always empty but the wife read a review on it that it's ex tayyabs chef cooking so she wanted to try it. On arrival on a Saturday at 9pm had 2 tables with customers, so wasn't busy. We ordered onion bhaji, grilled paneer and grilled wings for starters and arrived quick but after trying food, all had absolutely no flavour and for the price charged such a small portion. Then for mains butter chicken and naan, which was absolutely disgusting the butter chicken had no authentic flavour, wife didn't touch it after 1 spoon. I had the restaurant special king prawn noodle and what a joke it was the portion was made using 1 of them cheap instant noodle packets and the taste was disgusting again. Didn't bother ordering dessert. Just wanted to get out. Also brought a mango mocktail which was recommended by the waiter and when it came was flat and didn't even have any taste of mint or mango, staff didn't basically know how to make a mocktail. Coke also ordered which was flat. Overall I don't believe this can be cooked by an tayyabs ex chef, probably was a kitchen porter or cleaner at tayyabs. The restaurant now I know why it is always empty and to be honest should give up and close with that quality of food at that price.

We had an excellent dining experience at Rasoi, friendly service with great attention to detail. Had the mixed grill and lamb jalfrezi which was cooked to perfection.

Very disappointed with the quality after seeing many people give it 5 stars. Ordered a mixed grill platter which all tasted the same. The chicken garlic curry just tasted like grill chicken pieces in onion gravy. The mojito drink tasted like still water with some flavoured liquid. Good service and polite staff. The food isn’t spiced to cater for Asian desi taste buds, probably ideal for the indigenous people.

Delicious food and excellent service! New kid in the block but simply blown away. It was a party of four of us and everyone loved it. Definitely try the tandoori Roti :)

I visited 1st time in their restaurant with my family members for dinner. I just only liked their rice platter with some bengali items. I think their food price is little high.Rice portion is really small for adult. There is less heating system available. Feeling cold. They just give us 1 small heater. It's surprising. They should be proper heating system in this current weather. There is just one person available for service. I don't know why he just looked at us. So weird behave. The owner should focus on this service. After finishing food, the waiter didn't take any plate. He just coming to us for bill. It's ridiculous. Need to learn so many things.

One of my favourite and best Bangladeshi Asian Indian restaurant in London, their food is halal and they make Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani tasty food, also the staff are very friendly and they do very good services. Altogether overall 5star.

I have been their today and had our dinner in this resturant. Its recently been opened but their food was super delicious, The owner is very polite and friendly. Excellent customer service, found something better in green street. Its a home taste feeling on their food. They have lots of variety on their menu. And the price is very reasonable. Definately Will go back again . I puted 5 star for their service and food.

Rasoi is a family run business led by Mr Khan, who was an ex-chef at Tayyabs, London. The eatery is fairly new having only been open for 4 weeks. Here they serve up delicious Bangladeshi cuisine. The restaurant provides an extensive menu, with lots of options at reasonable prices, making it ideal for families. We ordered the small mixed grill, lamb chops starters, chicken jalfrezi with butter naan, lamb biryani and the orange and mango mojitos. The lamb chops were charred, juicy and tender. There could have been more flavour from the marinade but we still enjoyed these! The small mixed grill was a good size and along with the rest of the food was enough for the two of us to share. The chicken tikka in particular was really juicy and tender. The mains especially were excellent value for money given their size. The biryani included lots of tender meat which was fragrant. The jalfrezi was certainly not for the faint hearted as it was spicy, but equally packed a punch of a flavour too - we enjoyed this dish the most and it was a great accompaniment to the soft fluffy butter naan. The orange mocktail was perfectly refreshing. We enjoyed the mango mocktail too but it was a little on the sweeter side therefore wouldn’t be for everyone. Customer service was great and food arrived quickly.

Ordered a portion of paneer tikka and the portion was very small and was flavourless, and was £5. Worst customer service. We came back to explain to them but they didn't even say sorry or anything. For your kind information there is no competition between Indian restaurant and fast food restaurant. I hope you understand. Try to be nice with the customer atleast

Very nice looking place with delicate decorations around the whole place, very good food with really nice and crispy naan, nice staff members and waiters and you don’t have to wait a lot of time for your food to get delivered. Reasonable pricing and overall a really good restaurant .

AVOID , unfriendly confused staff, Ordered, vegetable shish kebab, (Very bland, over fried, with an old oil smell.) Chicken pakoras, (A piece of chicken with no seasoning battery and fried in old oil absolutely tasteless) Grilled Fish, (Stank like off fish seemed like fried in old oil and grilled till burn) Chips, (Thers not many ways to fault chips but because cooked in old oil left a bitter taste in the mouth? Tandoori chicken, (Tandoori chicken wasn't too bad but lacked flavour) Keema achari parmesan, (Just avoid unexplainable nothing like a parmesan) Tandoori chicken with keema on naan, (Just avoid absolute waste of money) Ordered mango juice which tasted like diluted rubicon juice. Told the boss about how the food was tasteless he harshly replied, I've only been open 3 weeks then walked away The place had no heating no atmosphere and he placed my cutlery direct on the table which was dirty at the time. When I asked if his new to the trade he claimed he has many years of experience working in the kitchen and then continued avoiding eye contact or any interaction. We left most of the food uneaten and after seeing that he quickly told us our bill and then opened the door and said thank you for coming.

Looking at the decor looked like it was going to be a good restaurant although the finishing was not that great and once seated , the door would not fully close so we were sitting there cold. Anyway we thought never mind food could be amazing . We were so so disappointed. The Pina Colada was just pineapple juice with yoghurt that had gone off and tasted like vomit lumps of yoghurt swimming around So he kindly swapped it for a coke which had a strange aftertaste to it main was not that great either food lacked taste lamb was tough the cauliflower was tough to eat . The keema nan had a little bit of keema which had gathered to one side of it . There was no salad or raitha which should be standard we had to ask and they only had mint sauce The one waiter did not understand Urdu English or Hindi and had to keep going to the back to call the chef / manager . Was not enjoyable experience at all should have gone to pakhtoonwha instead . Needless to say I will not be coming here again .
