Rofitzu 20010 was our waiter and he was lovely. Very nice and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

Salt Port Restaurant, nestled inside the DoubleTree Hotel in Excel London, offers a small but diverse selection of dishes. While the flavors weren't outstanding, they were decent enough to enjoy. Prices are on the higher side, which is expected for a hotel in this area. If you're looking to try something different, especially the platters, it's worth a visit.

Steak and salmon were good but pricey and not cooked as desired. Gluten free options were not marked or easy to find. Service was very good. The super food salad was ok.

Look this was a hotel restaurant and surpassed expectations. Food - arancini, vegetable soup, and quinoa salad were fresh and well flavored. Kitchen was clean and waiter was very nice and efficient.

You can't eat in the restaurant if you're not staying at the hotel.

Service is excellent. The waiters are very attentive and is fast and efficient. Food is OK. I would suppose it depends on what you order. The ribeye was OK. good seasoning and came with fries. The Mac n Cheese is bland and doesnt really taste of anything.

Not much information on hotel website or Hilton app. No information in the room. Can't book a table or breakfast on booking the room on website or app. Breakfast adequate at a price. Dinner menu good food reasonable. Staff helpful. Atmosphere practical, could be more relaxing

Awful food... Terrible!! Worse than a wetherspoons or harvester.. and the price you pay you would expect lovely, higher class food. Beef ragu macaroni cheese, was not cheese sauce.. it was macaroni with melted cheese on top on top of watery ragu soup. The mixed grill was horrible, that was definitely worse than a wetherspoons but with wetherspoons at least you know what you are getting and don't expect high quality or fine dining... because the price is cheap.. I wouldn't mind the prices of this place if the food was nice.. we had lunch on the same day at the bar and its from the restaurant too and it was horrendous. We sent halloumi back as wasn't cooked.. cajun loaded fries was not cajun at all and definitely not loaded.. had onion sprinkles and a few jalapeños thrown in... Very disappointing!!!

Was expecting some fine dining from the place!! The service from the staff was excellent but the food was very very poor for the price of it. The best thing I found in the whole hotel experience was the free complimentary cookie that they gave us on arrival.

Superb food, excellent staff, lovely place. Staff were brilliant with the kids. Highly recommended for families and couples alike. The fillet steak is superb.

Breakfast: it’s a buffet, at the time of my visit in spring 2023 it was £17.50 and given the up charge hotels always do this is not unreasonable. They have espresso machines that make decent lattes, plus there are to go cups so you can take one for the road when you leave. The buffet has the traditional full English breakfast options, bread/pastries, cereal, fruit, and a space for gluten and/or dairy free options. Also, if you do have dietary restrictions you can have an omelette made upon request that is a safe option to eat without fear of someone having cross contaminating the buffet containers. The gluten free bread they have is nicely prepackaged in pairs and is some of the best I’ve ever had. While yes there are better, more affordable options if you’re looking for a good option with the added benefit of being located in your hotel definitely go for it

Pretty regular hotel restaurant int terms of food quality. I recommend the mushroom soup (if it’s available). The halloumi fries aren’t worth it. The Masala Schnitzel was meh, okay. Their sparkling water was insanely good, as ridiculous as it may sound. The service was amazing, our server was incredibly nice. It’s a good dinner option in the middle of nowhere. I would also make a reservation or call ahead to be safe, most hotel guests eat here.

Good option inside the DoubleTree Hilton hotel.

Very nice setting and attentive service person, if it could make the food better, I would give it 4 Star, but the food is really below average. Not even the Cesar's Salat was up to standard: Not enough sauce and no anchovy in the sauce. And Buffalo chicken wings came with tatar sauce and they were not crispy.

What can you say, a hotel restaurant is never going to be any to write home about, the food was cooked I didn't die

We had a wonderful time dining with Salt Port last night. The service and food were excellent and very reasonably priced. We loved eating with the views of the docks by our side and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing - perfect for my autistic son who can be overwhelmed with noisy/busy places. We were especially very grateful to Pariah (I think that was his name) who served us last night and went above and beyond to help us to feel welcome while we were dining - Thankyou! A very welcoming place and we will certainly be dining again with them :)

Had drinks and dinner and ordered a glass of Bordeaux and grilled pork belly. Service was good and attentive but the staff seems a little short handed and under trained. The waiter didn’t know how to pronounce Bordeaux for example and took a while to get me a condiment i requested. They also asked for my room number 3 times throughout my dining there. Nevertheless wine and food were great. I had pork belly it was so tender it’s incredible.

The go-to place when you need a relaxing meal over the river. It's quiet, well-appointed and packed top-to-bottom with courteous and efficient staff. The service is exactly as you'd expect from the Hilton and it's delivered in short order. Soup and bread - simple but as well-executed as you'd find at The Landmark. Even the sides are made with great care and you soon find yourself drifting off after many excellent dishes. A special word for the staff - every one of them went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A hard way and a long road to get there, but a restful and rewarding experience.

I really didn't like the food. It was poor quality and not well presented.

We had the buffet option. There were some very good choices. Wine selection is far from impressive, both red and white.

My husband and I loved it there. We stayed at the one of the hotels close by and as we were not impressed by the menu at our hotel, not really choice. I tried to book at the Salt Port as we ate there two years ago when we stayed at their hotel. Even on such a short notice they accommodated us and we ate there for three nights while we were staying in the area. Food was lovely and staff was amazing, especially manager who was working on evenings between 7th and 9th October. He was very nice, polite and attentive, always making sure that we are alright. Also we were plesently surprised about prices, it was very reasonable. We will go again once in the area. One of the best place to eat at the Victoria Docks.
