Beautiful bar with good food and a real fire. Came in here after climbing the surrounding mountains for some food and drinks with my partner and dog. Had a good selection of food and we both opted for the homemade chicken burger. This was a large size with home made chips and I enjoyed that had a IPA on draft too.

This pub served us the best carvery that I can remember for a long time. The staff were lovely and we felt welcomed. The food tasted amazing and it was lovely to see a separate restaurant. As we had a dog and children with us we ate in the bar which was light and airy. It seemed like a busy local pub too. X

The food here is excellent..... Called for lunch and had the best Welsh Rarebit ever. Decided to come back for dinner and wasn't disappointed. I had mushroom tagliatelle and my husband had gammon. Again, both meals were delicious. Would definitely recommend all to come here

Beautifully cooked fresh food to order. I can recommend the chicken dishes- succulent and plentiful. The meal and a drink deal is excellent value.

Pie plenty of nice meat large portion too. Place could do with smartening up. I would go again and try something different.

The night did not get off to a good start when we said "Hello" to the barmaid who completely ignored us. She continued to ignore us whilst she served 2 customers at the bar. O.k they may have been waiting to be served but at least she could have acknowledged that we were there. Perhaps some customer training is in order! We ordered the food and wished we had not. My partner ordered the meat pie which came with burnt pastry, vegetables and Lettuce!!! It is no understatement to say I have thrown better lettuce in to my compost bin, it was wilted and slimy. Never heard of lettuce with meat pie. My meal was O.k but more like something you'd get in a transport café. Tables needed a good clean.

I had a very disappointing experience with my recent order. I ordered a chicken fillet burger, and it came out completely subpar. The chicken was dry and still had the skin on, which made it unappetizing. There was no sauce at all, leaving the burger bland and unappealing. The salad was also unseasoned, which only added to the overall lack of flavor. What made the situation worse was the reaction from the manager. When we brought up our concerns, the manager seemed uninterested and even surprised by our feedback. This response was unacceptable and only added to our disappointment. This was by far the worst food experience we’ve had, and the lack of care from the management only made it worse

We had just climbed Snowden in the pouring rain and wind and wanted some proper hearty home cooked pub grub and wow, this place did not disappoint. We went on the taxi drivers recommendation and we are so glad we did. The owners/bar staff were lovely and welcoming as were the locals who took an interest in our adventure. A lovely atmosphere and a special mention to the chef because the food truly was home made and freshly cooked and tasted incredible!! I’d definitely recommend to anyone in the area and I’d happily return! 🍷❤️🥰

Lovely food - nice chaps in there too. I came in during a motorbike trip, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burger I ate, will come again!

We are here for two evenings, fabulous food, friendly atmosphere. Food was excellent!! Lovely steak first night cooked to perfection, the chicken was also very very good! Second night we had excellent homemade burgers and the steak pie was very tender and delicious! Totally recommend this place. The prices were also extremely reasonable.

Had heard great reviews about the carvery ...and I can prove that they were right! Stunning meal 4 choices of meat all cooked to perfection plenty of vegetables lovely yorkshires and delicious gravy will most definitely visit again and will recommend to everyone...only 1 thing missing though was stuffing! Really nice food...Diolch

A lovely friendly bar for drinks and informal dining. We both had the sirloin steaks, which were excellent, followed by lovely sticky toffee pudding. Everyone was friendly, the place was clean, the service was fast and there were a good range of bar drinks available. Just what we needed for the night.

Honestly, probably the best burgers in Llanberis. A proper home made double cheeseburger. Not too fat, not too skinny with lots of flavour. Home made chips. Just yummy.

Steak night on a Wednesday would recommend to anyone in the area on this day. Unreal food, very friendly staff and great service !!

Four fabulous roast dinners last Sunday! Very friendly staff too. No issues having a dog with us, plenty of room, nice and warm too

Exellent food, tasty and the lamb was so tender, highly recommended and lovely staff, we need a place like this in the village, will be going back.

We were here two nights in a row and could not have been more pleased. My had the pan fried halloumi, lamb duo (insanely huge!), and a steak ciabatta last night and tonight was steak night! The amount of food for what you are paying is absurd and SO DELICIOUS. We also loved the vibe overall with the locals coming in and out and hanging out at the bar, and the bartender was awesome. Highly recommend!

Visited on Wednesday, 1st November as a large group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Busy on arrival and a nice atmosphere. Mixture of locals and visitors. Friendly staff. Plenty of choice on the menu. It was steak night on the Wednesday. It was a good deal for £14.95. The food was lovely and served with home made chips. Everyone was happy with their meals and no complaints. Portions were big. We didn’t have desserts as we are all full. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Nice place run by local people.

Went for food and it was lovely nice and warm place and the staff were polite will deffo go back again and it was not expensive

What a fantastic place. Locals friendly and chatty as were the staff. We arrived on steak night that included a special of rack of lamb. I've paid a lot more and not had food up to this standard. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the dauphinois potatoes were out of this world. Everyone was impressed with their food. It was lovely to hear the locals rattling on in Welsh too.

Called in for a drink with a view to having dinner the following evening. However, we were met with unwelcoming staff at the bar...no smile...no chat...we didn't speak Welsh! We got and paid for our drinks and sat down at a table. We noticed other peoples' orders arriving at the tables...plates were huge and dinners massive. Great for some, but we could've just about managed one dinner between the two of us and decided it wasn't the place for us to eat. Meanwhile, some locals came in and sat near us...it was obvious we were interlopers who shouldn't be sitting there. One woman even came and plonked herself at our table. Enough of being glared at, we drank up and left.

Called in here when we saw the Sunday roast sign. Would highly recommend, it was delicious and came with loads of veg. Really good value.

Lovely steak at the Gwynedd must try 😋😋, Can't wait go back next week. Mrs had fish and she loved it also. Kids also enjoyed 👍

We were looking for a place for a drink and something to eat, so glad we stopped here, amazing food and drinks, friendly staff, nice and friendly, highly recommend the Cajun chicken burger
