Absolutely lovely cafe full of friendly locals and such a welcoming lady running it. Had a top notch Sunday lunch. She’d spent the morning sending off enormous numbers of the same meal as local deliveries and when a place is so supported by the actual folk living in a town, it says everything. Good value and good grub!

Well, called again and the breakfast is still the best in the area for quality and price. Any reviews which "Slag" this cafe off are made up DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. The place was 75% full of locals which tells you everything, the owner and cook is a very nice person and the amount of take away meals delivered in this small town on a Sunday about 90 shows how good and well supported by locals it is. Buy your food with confidence.

Oh my word, I must be perfectly honest here, I ordered the veggie breakfast the sausages tasted like sawdust tomatoes cold eggs burnt at edges and baked beans not hit at all, hash brown was like slush and tasted like lard, this is honestly the worst breakfast I've ever had anywhere please avoid this place .

Seating capacity is a bit constrained but the turkey lunch was excellent and very fairly priced. No complaints at all about the quality of the food and the owner, as usual, was very friendly and genial.

The only thing that saved this place from a one star review is that in some sense I admire the audacity of somebody opening a cafe without the ability to prepare even the most basic of dishes.

There's something about national trust cafes. Overpriced service is always poor and the food is always substandard Paid £3.30 for a bottle of water. There was no filling station for us to refill ours.

We visited this cafe on our visit to Portmeirion yesterday and we're really impress with both the quality of the food, and the value for money. I had the chicken burger which was really delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife had the jacket potato and beans, which again she really enjoyed, whilst our 5 year old went for the sausage and mash and loved. I would definitely visit again.

We bought 2 ice cream and happily ate it outside. Out of nowhere, a rude old lady told us not to eat it on the shop despite the fact that we bought it in their shop! Rudeness like this will kill your business! Train your staff very well! Also, pay attention on what your customers buying so you wont be embarass like that!
