Xing’s Restaurant & Takeaway in Bexley

First tried eating at Xing's on 3rd Aug 2024. The service was friendly and the dining area , although smaller than most other restaurants, it was clean, bright - just enough tables to make diners feel comfortable and spacious, without being too close to the next table/diners. Food was well seasoned (not too salty nor overly sweet) and I loved their chilli oil! Had the non-buffet/individual price - dishes to share: - leftovers were allowed to take home. Wonton soup, Beef hofun (with rice noodle), generous Mixed Starters (for two) and spicy crispy shredded beef were all delicious. Had a lovely dinner so decided to book for a buffet celebratory family (10 people) dinner there the following 25th August. Paid £50 deposit in advance. The buffet was well organised. Portion was per person. Each dish that we chose were all perfectly seasoned and cooked - so no dry or tough meat! The beef in black bean sauce and the beef noodle was so soft and delicious! I would also recommend Aromatic duck with pancakes, salt and pepper squid, King Prawn and Mussels dishes, chicken satay and barbecue pork. Note: no leftovers are allowed to be taken away if eating from buffet menu. So try not to over order. The waitresses and waiter are very hardworking, accommodating and friendly. Easy payment by card in the restaurant. (They accept cash too). Caters for vegetarians and people who have food allergies (see photos). The restaurant is always busy with their takeaway orders too, but they still serve their dine-in customers quickly too. Also be aware there are certain dishes that are available from the al-la-carte menu BUT NOT for the buffet menu and vice versa. We would definitely be eating here again! Recommend to book in advance for big groups.

We took my granddaughter in to celebrate her achievements, before starting uni. She came up from lordswood. We treated her to a Chinese, The waitress run around like a headless chicken, bless her. But the wait for food was ridiculous over 30 mins for starter an ended up 2.5 hrs waiting, I had explained to the waitress several times we need to order quickly as my GD needed to get home on her own. In the end 8 pm we finally got our mains we tried to eat but her train was at 8.20pm. I asked very quietly & politely if we could have a box for her to take before she missed her train. The waitress went got another female who was extremely rude who quote said. Not for buffet you only spent £100. Well we was spending £35 weekly on takeaways regularly but never in restaurant. I will never order from there again. My grand daughter missed her train because of this. And the rudeness was un nessasary. I can’t believe they would rather waste food, than let people take what’s left. We did not order lots, but timing was important taking so long to wait for food. £1750 a year minimum we spend there, I will take our business to a place that deserves loyal customers. The food was lovely but very limited on what we could order. Rudeness crossed off recommending. Shame on you.

Not only did they forget part of my order I had to go back for. Lady was rude didn't even acknowledge her mistake. The food was very bland with no taste.

You either had to order a buffet or a normal meal but you wasn't allowed to share a thing ..food took ages was in a big party of over 10 but had to split the tables so we couldn't share ..wasn't going to anyway

Lovely Food and Great Service... The food is always tasty and worth every penny... The Buffet is so deliciously fresh and there is plenty of choice to sink your teeth into.

Food is ok but their fish tank is much too small for the number and size of fish and has nowhere for them to hide. It was sad to see the larger fish behaving distressed.

First time ordering and they couldn't get it right if they tryed. It was a delivery and messed up the starters promised to send out whole delivery again and got given odd bits. No thanks was really looking forward to it aswell.

There was 5 of us going to this restaurant yesterday and what a disgrace of costumer service. The first red flag, although they have a normal menu where u can just order 1 plate of choice, they only present the buffet menu. Second red flag: the lady straight up says: " dont order too much other ways the food has to go to bin" which i believe when someone says that and after reading some reviews where they demand you bring the food back if something is wrong with it. Makes me believe its bullocks as they most likely keep it to the next guest. Third red flag: if some of you are eating buffet and some just want normal regular plates they will place you in separate tables to make sure you dont share. And its not a table of your choice either! Its the furthest table from your group they can find with the most stupid excuse they can come up with at that moment. To resume overall the experience was bad, prices are almost 30£ per person on the buffet alone, a small portion of seaweed will be 8.50£ and you get to be screwed and controlled by the staff. We left without eating. Went to noodles city a very nice cosy restaurant, near by, where the food was delicious. The setvice was 5* and we paid less than half of what we would of spend in here. * this restaurant is a rip off *

In my opinion one of the best Chinese takeaway in the area bit more expensive than some of the other available but better taste with generous portions sizes would recommend to anyone looking for Chinese food in local area, chips are tasty and the shredded roast duck noodles is beautifully cooked with generous portions. Reasonable delivery and well packed.

They got our order Wrong but refused to send the dish out to us that we had ordered and paid for not happy certainly would not use these people again

Stay away rip off Chinese. One starters - chicken satay, one (small) prawn and mixed veg one (small) pork chow mein 2 soft drinks = £36 what a rip off!

Just been charged £30 for half a starter (2 x chicken satay skewers) plus a small noodle dish and small prawn dish. £6 for 2 X soft drinks was fair enough. Feel ripped off

Had a few take aways from here the food is really good. When to the buffet although the portion are small they keep coming

Went here tonight for my sons 21st birthday, food and service was amazing. £25 is not a bad price for the amount you can eat and plenty of choice. The lady that served us was extremely friendly and attentive.

horrible experience!! Do not go to this restaurant!!!! I was shouted at on the phone for informing this so called restaurant that they had served me special fried rice with and shrivelled up fly in my family members meal. The restaurant then refused a refund because we had already some of the meal. The food is also tasteless and way too oily.

DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!!!! INSECTS IN FOOD!Bought a large order from here, whilst eating realised there was two shrivelled up flys in the food. I called up and was told by a man I will get a refund a lady then came on the phone very rude screaming and shouting no refund unless we bring everything back, if we had a bite from it we cannot get a refund. She hung up on me two times and was extremely rude. It’s disgusting they even wanted to food back to sell on after dead flys have been in it. In the end nothing.

the woman on the phone was being rude and refusing to listen to us. we found a fly within a rice dish we bought and were asking for a refund due to the lack of hygiene and uncomfortable nature of the dish. instead of easily complying and giving a refund they were demanding we return the dishes bought when we had already eaten and then found the fly engrained into the food. and now we are left extremely uncomfortable, slightly distressed and still without refund for the purchase which INCLUDED A FLY!

The most expensive eat as much as you can Chinese I've ever been to and the most limited menu. Can't believe they have taken lamb off and no dumping s either. Food was nice but not enough had to constantly ask for more as they would only bring up 2 at a time And some heating wouldn't go a miss was freezing in there

Staff are extremely friendly and prompt with serving food and drinks. The food is tasty, cooked to order and warm/hot on arrival. As a frequent visitor to this restaurant I cannot recommend it enough - great value for money

I've lived in belvedere for 14 years... never been here. But I missed out. Friendly people great food. Fresh cooked buffet for a great price. Will come back.

DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THESE GOOD REVIEWS. The customer service is extremely poor and disrespectful ! The food is barely warmed up, the restaurant is unsanitary and the prices are unreasonable high. Please save up you're money as Xing's is not worth it.

I bought beef fried rice but its more eggs than beef. Some pieces of beef is the same size as a grain of rice

This is a Chinese buffet with a difference, everything is cooked to order, no buckets of goop that have been sat for hours but freshly cooked food. Eat as much as you like but if you are like me you will massively over do the starters, fortunately they know that and so the mains are relatively small by normal standards ......... But you can have as much as you like!!!!!

Lovely Chinese, Staff are lovely...They are not large portions but you can order as much as you like..plus the food doesn't get wasted which I hate...Highly recommended.

Great little restaurant. It's quite compact inside and feels cosy with the close tables. They have a couple of big round tables too, which can seat 8 - 10 people around them. Was there on a Sunday evening with a large party, but the staff (only three of them on the floor) kept it all running smoothly. The food is very good, and the prices are too.

Excellent food, great price, quick service

Order as much as you want. We order starters.. then we order more starters. It's not a problem. If you don't ask you don't get. We often keep hold of the menu too. This is the only Chinese we use. Hot non greasy food. Great staff nothing is too much trouble.

I went here with my girlfriend the other night. We absolutely love the place. I would definitely come here again whenever I think I deserve a cheat meal lol.
