This is not my local but I like everything about this pub nice atmosphere and good service and they have very good entertainment and a pub dog that's very friendly

Went to see a gig here on the 11th October it was a brilliant venue and outstanding staff and atmosphere

My name is Carlos and I am from Argentina, in the month of August I visited the pub and had the opportunity to participate in an improvised night together with an Argentine friend and two English friends from the band The286. An incredible experience that I hope to repeat in such a pleasant place.

First time in this pub nice beer sat outside tables were cleaned every 30 minutes staff very polite well worth a visit next to sidcup train station

Very quick service and Friendly staff. Used to visit years ago and had amazing night's the only thing I would say is music could be better.

I wanted to have a pint of state and listen one or to songs from the live band. It was raining but I took my walk to there. It was 23:30. Google maps was saying the pub was open until 1:00 am. The door was locked and the door man said the pub is closed. I thought it was not right. Closing doors before one and half an hour to close?

Went for Tuesday karaoke, Wayne is one of the best in the area, good mix of songs, the pub is really interesting, lots of music memorabilia, staff are friendly and helpful, we had a lovely time.

I go to the Iron Horse Tuesday night for the karaoke 🎤 it's always a fun crowd who enjoy their singing, there is a regular crowd who are there for the the karaoke, but you do get locals & students from the college creating a lively atmosphere.. bar staff are very attentive and Wayne on karaoke duties is a great entertainer, he always has the song you want to sing, recommend pub..

Small but friendly. Great staff,good beers,wines,spirits, and entertainment. Entertainment at night.

The Iron Horse didn't seem to have food available. It was a music venue pub that was quite traditional in its appearance.

Great manager! On arrival as I was walking past earlier today I had to urgently use the loo. To which the manager allowed me with great spirit. I’d definitely come again but as a costumer this time.

Around £5 a pint . Nice place & nice punters.

Arrived in my own in complete perfect state, looking forward to a few pints, Rung earlier in the day to confirm. The staff were rude and wouldn’t let me in 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️, gutted

Me and my husband enjoyed the evening it's a pity the place wasn't in manchester we would go in the iron Horse most weekends otherwise. The entertainment was very good.

I NEVER knew this pub existed even though I've driven thru Sidcup a million times! Well, I'm glad I've found it now. My daughter was invited to sing with the band "The Spiders from Sidcup" at the recent Sidcup Calling music festival on Bank Holiday May 2023. What a venue!! An amazing place for live music of all genres. Nice and spacious with an outdoor area. They do food, but we didn't have any, but saw lots of folk enjoying theirs. Staff are friendly and the bar prices are excellent. Landlord John is very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend 👌

Good venue for live music and local artistes. Excellent public transport links, being next to Sidcup Station and several bus routes. Also big public car park nearby behind the old Lamorbey Baths, accessed via Old Farm Avenue. It does get noisy during live performances, so don't sit/stand too close to the stage. The manager is really friendly and helpful - my friend requested a table as I can't stand all night and he reserved one for us without any fuss.

Disgusting, dirty and smelly rooms. The walls are filthy and the water is dirty!

Rude security, rude manager, run down. Shame as it used to be a good night out. Feel sorry for the bands booked there to play to very few customers.

Nice, friendly pub. Security on the door were polite, was quickly served at the bar, and a good band was playing. Enjoyed myself.

Always have a good time here. Live acts are usually good. I haven't seen a bad one yet. The Iron Horse is a very friendly, welcoming pub.

Nice friendly service, decorated with pictures or classic rock band which I personally like. The sometimes have live music which I haven't seen yet but plan to 1day

building site right next to it will look out of place when its fully built and opened, might as well rebuild it with the new build next door!

Decent pub based next to Sidcup station. I had a Nice cold pint of fosters for a good price of £3.80. atmosphere was good. Friendly staff. They also have DJ nights

Went for a late afternoon beer with drink-buddy and it was mellow and chilled atmosphere. The music was very good lots of old school rock and new wave stuff, speakers were mellow not tinny and whiney like some pubs have.

First time here for years. An impromptu beer after a Wednesday night out. Served promptly, the bar had at least three people on, probably more. A live band so lively and noisy. Definitely a regulars pub but we didn't get any stares etc. Lucky enough to get a table outside so we could talk. Will come again.

Not a very friendly reception this time. One of the doormen should maybe look at a non customer facing role, the other was much better. No entry without ID! Not something i was expecting at 50+ Full body search, photo taken and name from bank card. Make of that what you will. Sad to say i doubt I'll be returning.

Went here to see a band, no real ale, but didn't expect to get a drinking experience. Not a pub I would use as a regular, but then I am a bit older than average.

Went in alone while on a brief foray from Dorset, but immediately engaged in conversation. Good sign in a pub.

Expensive and very shabby looking inside

Very unfriendly, slow and rude staff, we walked in and someone barked ,"table service only!". We knew that, we were simply walking through to the back. Ended up bailing as we waited half an hour and still no service.

New Years Eve and we were impressed with the beer, staff, general environment and entertainment. High level of security, with professional and obviously well trained staff. We had to leave before 00:00 and would have liked to have been able to stay longer. Thanks to all.

Brilliant music venue. Haven't eaten in there but I have heard the food is good. Friendly bar staff. Great atmosphere. If you like live music, the Open Mic and Jam nights are excellent and they put on a variety of bands of different genres so something for everyone. Good selection of beers too.

A gem of a bar in Sidcup. Not everyone's cup of tea and I do get that BUT, for live music and a quick half after fighting with ShiteEastern, it is very good. Sidcup used to have pubs that catered for everyone and this ticked the boxes for the heavy metal fans. During the day / afternoon, I used to see many a patron from the Alma in there. The one and only ale they had, Bexley Brewery, was very nice. A must visit before the latest destruction of Sidcup kicks in.

Great old school pub. Give the resident DJ a bit of time to settle all his wiring and a great time can happily be had rocking away to some classic sounds on the dance floor, or chair dancing if you are a bit short of energy. Great service and staff.
