Went in for a quick pint whilst waiting for an Uber. Seems like a cool pub

Enjoyed their exceptional BBQ, especially the slow-cooked ribs and wings. I've added it to my barguide.london site too!

This pub wasn't open as I went passed that last Saturday, but yet it's says it's still open on Google maps.

For a bank holiday Sunday was expecting live music pub was dead . Left after one drink

Brilliant pub with a great community atmosphere! Owners are friendly and very accommodating. I’d certainly recommend this place for groups of friends and couples.

A lovely relaxed pub, with excellent staff and a really amiable family friendly atmosphere. As a family we consider this our local, and we have made many friends. The service is always excellent. There's often live music or a DJ. We love the Rose and Crown.

Lovely generous Sunday lunch with all fresh vegetables and loads of gravy 😋 will definitely return. Ladies behind the bar were very friendly. Shame they don't do desserts !! Something for them to consider please ??

Popped into the Rose and Crown lunchtime and had a lovely pint of Guinness poured to perfection. Nice clean pub with friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

A decent proper local pub which has a reasonable garden and good seating. Pick this over danson stables if your deciding between them. Because that place is dire.

Great staff, good food, only let down was the wait for the food.

Charming staff who couldn't have been more helpful, a chef who took the time to discuss allergies with me and enormous portions of delicious, great value, slow-cooked ribs and wings. A brilliant lunch. I'll be back as soon as I've recovered from over-eating.

The Rose is my local and I love the sevice I get in there, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They now have a new chef who cooks on a bbq! This week I've had the Philly cheese steak sandwich which was gorgeous (even better the next day as I couldn't eat it all in 1 night) BUT...... the ribs.... oh my god... melt in your mouth, amazing flavour, fall off the bone, massive portions amazing!! Highly recommended the Rose for the lovely friendly service from everyone and the amazing food!!

You get a friendly, warm welcome in this traditional pub. The food is basic but wholesome. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is good.

Went to the rose and crown because they've started to sell goddards pie and mash. Although they don't advertise this, For the pie and mash lovers out there it's got to be the go-to place. The best pie and mash outside London

Never been in the Rose and Crown before but I heard it has been revamped and new management? Very tidy. Just opened after lifted covid restrictions. Staff putting in place hand sanitizer at all enterances and social distancing measures such as one way system no standing at the bar once drinks were ordered and notices to remind customers to wash hands etc. Staff friendly. Food was ok. Large garden at rear which was nice. I visited lunchtime period.

First trip to the Rose since lockdown, warm welcome from Rob and the girls. A leisurely pint with my son, rounded of with pie and mash. We done all 👏👏👏

Very good singer on a Saturday night when I was there, staff are very pleasant beer is good but not many people in so no atmosphere unfortunately.

A quiet little pub set back from the main Street, with ample parking for 1 or 2 guests and a secure entrance this is definitely the best pub withing 1 meter of the door..

me and my close friend had the day from hell the other night we decided to pop in to the rose and crown for a couple of drinks we had such a lovely time we didn't leave in till closing time the pub looks amazing so fresh and clean and modern and welcoming the staff was lovely and also welcoming i am evening having a family member birthday here so i would definitely recommend coming here i think i just found my new place to go .xxxx
