X-Park Restaurant in Croydon

I am regular person in that place but today I have questions are you make the neat buy yourself ore you buy because my question as a customer is normal and I will explain the piece of bone that is in the photo is stuck in my throat an ambulance was called and my trust was violated I was a daily customer I always ordered the same thing unfortunately this supposed piece of bone in my throat prevents me from eating every day It is worth being careful about such things so here's my question

Thoroughly enjoyed our food. We had the lambs ribs which were very tasty, could change rice for chips. Also service was good.

A halal Turkish shawarma restaurant with delicious baklava

Very dry and cold chicken wrap. I asked the guy who served me if he charges extra for eat in vs take away and he said ‘NO’ - after I paid £7 I saw that the medium wrap only costs £5. When I questioned he said that that’s the price for eating in. I am not happy with the customer service and the quality of food was very bad. I will never return here

A really friendly family run spot in Croydon. The owners are so accommodating and the food is yummy, a nice spot for a quick lunch.

The food was delicious. I had the starters as lentil soup and the main course which was lamb shish and salad. It was really delicious for a good price. Staff were friendly and delivered food on time. Jane :-)

Ordered a chicken Doner wrap with onions and tomatoes - it was really nice. Service could be better but the chicken Doner was very good.

I ordered chicken wrap which was lovely. £7 when you eat inside just an FYI which is fine. We also ordered two children’s meals which were £7.95 and the portion was terrible. The doner meat itself was of very poor quality. I would have gotten more value for my money a few doors down.

The kebabs was really nice but cold and bits of lamb was bit dry. The salad was disappointing no cabbages no cucumber no chilli Peper...

1st time: Great hospitality and fresh food. Update: last time we went it wasn’t as good as first time unfortunately. Food portion was not as big as expected, mixed grill was mostly wings, rice was a bit oily, communication was hard as the team didn’t understand English well, we had to ask for plates, they offered no water, and lastly the chef stayed on the phone for long time and we waited hungry for him to get more food.

InSANEly good food. This undiscovered gem of a place with a weird name (please change it) knocks most of the Turkish competition out of the water. If you want healthy down-to-earth food this is it. It’s just another level and not pricey! (£4 for soup?) they could do with a change to the lighting: loads of hanging bulbs make for boring lighting. Recommended.

Very friendly waitress food very well presented and on the whole very tasty. It Just missed five stars because I’ve probably tasted slightly better kofte and shish but because my mother was a chef, I notice everything and most people wouldn’t notice at all. This restaurant takes much more pride in its appearance than many Turkish places. Despite it’s strange name I suggest you go he will enjoy it. Note to owner: change the name! It isn’t doing you any favours.

Turkish food is always something nice to eat but it's the way it's cooked and its secret recipes that makes the difference. Well, here it's very delicious, cooked as requested. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again with my family.

It was a worst lunch I have ever had. I ordered lamb shish it wasn’t tasty also I’m not too sure it was a lamb or beef. Very poor service and quality

Had a racist experience where a lady asked me if I was from Cyprus.. I said no, I was Afghan, and she says we don’t like Afghan people’. I was stunned and ordered food.. which I now regret .. as I should have walked out after that comment. The food came, I ordered the Adana wrap. The kofta in the wrap looked raw as if it wasn’t even cooked and the chips were cold. I have been feeling nauseous since having the wrap. Update in response to the owner: I have no reason to be racist. My family have also immigrated here for similar reasons which is why your behaviour shocked me even more and if I was racist, why would I enter a Turkish restaurant at all? Your question about Cyprus arose when you saw my necklace as the Afghan and Cyprus maps look similar. I understand you are now accusing me of blatant lies to try to protect yourself and your business but Allah (swt) sees all.

We arrived 30 minutes before closing time. The lady at the counter greeted us and took our orders. She was friendly and showed us what was available. She let us taste some of the food for free to make our choice. All the sauces and salads are homemade and super tasty! It really reminded me of my time in Istanbul. Would really recommend. Been there 3 times already, I can definitely say that it was the best Turkish food I had in London. Real Turkish taste with reasonable prices. Great hospitality and the atmosphere is getting better and better! Highly recommended👍🏻

We are in the restaurant area tucked behind the takeaway counter. Lovely welcoming staff, food was delicious and large portion sizes of quality food and great recommendations from our waitress. Would happily recommend.

Turkish coffee, and a Falafel.. I promise you can never go wrong.. if I understood correctly it is a family business , it is so nice to see how they are working together as a team. The falafel was delicious, maybe next time change the tortilla wrap with the khobez 🤷🏻‍♀️ but that doesn’t change the fact that it was very delicious, tasted fresh and homemade .. i would definitely come back: as it is very affordable and very relaxing to be in there. X-Park is lovely family run takeaway/restaurant. The people there are always so welcoming and the food is always super tasty! It’s my local so I will definitely be returning ☺️❤️

Really pleasant little place, that is a takeaway with a secluded eating area at the back. We came in just on chance one evening mid week when it was not busy. Lovely friendly people who cooked everything fresh for us. We had a Meze to start with a nice selection of home made items and a meat platter main. All was very nice.

Hygiene standards need immediate attention. Just seen the person serving/making food for customers eating from the grill with bare hands into her mouth, touching her hair then touching customers food all without washing hands in between. Her shoulder length hair was also not tied back/no hairnet.

I would even give 0 star if possible as is the first time I go a restaurant and leave to go to eat somewhere else . We went today to eat and we order few things and let me tell you that we didn’t eat anything as was awful so we paid and went to other restaurant to actually eat ( waste of £40 and also a waste of time) Don’t bother going as is actually terrible food, the worst in Croydon for sure , then after they clearly see didn’t touch even the plate they don’t even care.

A surprisingly good find as I didn't expect much and it surpassed my expectations. We arrived quite late so was disappointed to find some items on the menu not available, however the food we did have was really top notch and service friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

After a late evening meeting in East Croydon I manage to stumbled across the little gem of a restaurant that serves freshly made Mediterranean food and drinks that would make your taste buds dance.🕺 💃 😋 Have tried the falafel rap and rice pudding and of course Turkish tea🍮. Need to revisit soon to try the main menu items. Nicely done decor, good vibes and great prices too. Highly recommended 👌

This restaurant is superb. Everything is homemade, even the chilli and garlic sauces, and the meat is wonderfully spiced and flavoursome. It is family run and operated and the pride that goes into the food and service is apparent. I would not hesitate to dine here again and to recommend this place to friends and family.

I have eaten here twice now. Dine in and takeaway. Both experiences were great! Really good food, good portion size, reasonable prices. Nice people too.

Tried the Lamb Doner Box with chips and Salad for lunch. The meat was excellent. The Doner is proper lamb, shredded more like a Lamb Sharwama and not like the mystery meat Doner Kebabs most people are used to after a night out. The meat was delicious, spicy and fatty (fat is flavour - don't let anyone tell you otherwise). The only downside was there was a pitiful amount of chips in the box. I wouldn't mind paying £1 extra and have more chips as I wasn't as full as I wanted to be which was really disappointing. The rest of the menu is priced considerably higher suggesting it's more of a restaurant rather than a take-away place. I haven't tried it yet, but the prices do seem high as the place has more of a nice café vibe, whereas there are fancier Turkish restaurants priced exactly the same nearby in South Croydon. The tasty Doner means I will give it a try though.

Needs to be up to the mark, I waited about 30 minutes before got served I waited too long. I was going to walk out. The food is good,I didn't get what was on the show on the menu.

After walking past the place for a few weeks I finally stopped. Glad that it's not another greasy kebab. I got a wrap that was great. Unlike other people who thought it was dry, mine was great (but then I don't like really greasy meat). The fries were great (and I'm Belgian) but cold (but still nice). Fries could be pre-cook (at 150 degrees I think), then leave to rest, then re-cook at 180 for 1 or 2min by the order. This ensures they are always warm, and make them really fluffy inside, really crispy outside. I think you should also drop the branded things other than the bags maybe (no body will see the napkins, so get the cheap ones). Really enjoyed it, will be back 👍

Where is the bread! As a native Turkish always bread is served.. So I could not see on menu either.. Chicken wings taste good.. Thanks for the baklava

Donnar & chips were served late & cold mix grill was served hot but no taste kebab was pink undercooked and smell in the meat only the chicken was ok not served with naan or extra salad . Portion was very small. Not worth it at all even my 8 year old daughter didn’t like the food and she normally eats when we go out. I would not recommend this place only if you want to eat burger meal no more.

Quality of the food is actually really good however the prices of the food are so extortionate - £15 for wings!!?? £3 for chips and it comes like 10 of them in a bowl. If you are going to go for anything on the menu go for the doner box or the wrap doner that is worth the price. Worth going for a one time thing unless you are rich af.
