10 stars!! 20 if I could!! Amazing atmosphere and the family that run it are so lovely! We travelled an hour to get here and wow it was worth it!! We had the seafood boil which came out hot and fresh. It was cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. Will be coming back again and again! Definitely recommend. The food was so good we didn’t even think about taking a photo of it but will next time!! The menu has changed from whats online but still great! They are currently transitioning to The Seafood Garden and Bar

I recently visited Seafood and Tingz and was truly impressed! The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming and added to the overall experience. Definitely a place I’d recommend for any seafood lover—I’ll be coming back!

Went to buy rice and peas, three potions with jerk chicken and oxtail it cost us £45 the rice wasn’t soaked no vegetables when asked said there isn’t any, food had to much salt and oil, did not enjoy it. Ladies in the kitchen without head covering and aprons. Would not buy again.

Me and my partner went to go eat in when we were starving and it took a very long time for us to be served and seated. We ordered the sweet potato fries and the seafood boil which took around 25 minutes to come to us. The crab and prawns felt and tasted like frozen crab and wasn’t fresh at all. The potatoes were hard but the taste of the broth was decent. The interior wasn’t anything special.

Was my first time experiencing Seafood 🍤 🦞 boils after watching so many videos on social media and I was not disappointed by this place. I totally recommend it! The food, the portions, the service and the ambiance were great and up to my expectations. 🦞

Food was tasty, enjoyed the politeness of the staff, but im not sure if what i got was worth £50. The presentation of the food wasn’t the best. The outside of the bowl with the rice wasn’t clean properly and that really gave me the ick The shop was too hot, there were kids going in and out of the shop (probably the owners kids.)

I ordered from here today and was very disappointed, with food, with service & with the pricing ! I ordered the Medium Seafood boil, which was priced at £35.00 on the website, but was £45.00 in the shop, but he insisted that you must pay cash! After the chef had served my food in a freezer bag and was in one single small take away pot, I found the portion to be very small, in comparison for what I would have got from a Chinese takeaway spending the same amout and probably would have had five or six of the same containers. The chef who wasn't really dressed appropriately and had a dirty T-shirt on, and also had no shoes and was in and out the shop and kitchen in just his socks. The one container of food, consisted of two mussels, 4 prawns, and four corn on the cobs which were very thinly sliced and hard, a few potatoes and a small part of a crab. This was not worth the money, or the effort to drive from Purley to Thornton Heath and felt totally ripped off!

Ordered form here online this weekend. The food was very dry and the portion was very small. The food didn’t look cooked properly. Due to this, my husband got food poisoning which is very disappointing as he used to order from this place but, it seems the service and the quality of the food has gone down. Got a partial refund, when I believe a full refund is deserved. £35 and the portion and quality was poor.

The portion of the food does not match the price of the meal and no sauce given. Will not be ordering again.

Had a great meal at Seafood & Tings with my family last night. The regular seafood boil with garlic sauce was excellent but I think the pepper prawns were even tastier. Excellent service, very friendly. Will be ordering again.

Appalling service and unapologetic about it. Nearly ruined a birthday party. Food didn't come until nearly 3 hours after it was supposed to. Seemed like they were understaffed but still managed to serve takeaways via drivers that kept interrupting a private event. The food was just ok.

Well a hidden gem in South London called Seafood & Tingz. The oxtail was finger licking great and my wife had a seafood platter which it was amazing as she eat in quietness. Food full of flavour at a good price. I will be back

Attended for a private event, but it was extremely disappointing. Food was over 3 hours late or did not arrive at all. Shocking service from staff (except the one waitress who was really kind and trying her best to get the food to us). It was very upsetting, not sure how the service could take so long when it was booked for a private event. They were even doing deliveroo orders and so drivers kept coming in and out, whilst we were starving.

At a booked out 30th birthday party. Was supposed to eat at 8pm, received food at 11pm! Even though the venue was supposed to be closed and serving just the party, they were still selling takeaways even whilst we waited for our food. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

Please do not book a private event here. Service was extremely poor and the staff were unapologetic.

AVOID!!!! My friend booked out the whole restaurant for her 30th birthday, and it was an absolute disaster! We arrived at 7pm having preordered food. Staff were still setting up decorations and laying the tables (and hadn't laid enough places). Not long after we had been there, staff kept disappearing and returning with big bags from Sainsburys, which was a bit concerning! Throughout the evening deliveroo/uber eats people kept entering the restaurant and taking out food orders, while we were left with no food until 10:30pm! People had to leave before they got their food in order to get the final train home, and some food ordered which had been cancelled were delivered, some came twice, and some never came at all! The birthday girl didn't get her meal until 11pm, which is when the place is meant to close! Every time we asked where the food was, it was always 5 mins away! When we complained we were told "we never agreed when food would be delivered", as if delivering food at closing time was acceptable! When we were coming to leave, staff were incredibly rude, not allowing some people to take their packaged up food without personally coming to the bar and paying - despite the fact staff had been repeatedly told that payment would be made at the end. They have so far refused to engage in any talks of remediation, despite promises on the evening that something would be worked out. Avoid at all costs, especially if looking for for a special occassion!

I went to a friend’s birthday party at this restaurant. There were around 30 or so people. I had the jerk chicken which was very nice as was the prawn starter. It was reasonable value. However, it appears that the restaurant should not have accepted such a large booking. I was served my starter then it took two hours to get my main course. Some of the guests did not receive their mains until 22.45 hours and the restaurant actually shuts 15 minutes after that. The staff were entirely unapologetic about the unacceptable delay in serving guests. It ruined my friend’s birthday and the management did not appear to care. My advice would be to avoid more than a small booking as they could not accommodate the party.

Extremely disappointing. We waited 3 hours for food. My friend booked the restaurant out for her 30th and paid extra money to have it decorated etc. We all pre-ordered our food in advance, we arrived at 7 and had asked for the food to come at 8.30, we did not eat til 11pm!!!! The service was chaotic, the staff were not apologetic at all, and even the owner refused to take money off for bad service even after my friend complained that they had ruined her birthday. I would not recommend this place at all. It's a shame because the food was nice but it was ruined by the bad service and the attitude of the staff and owner who didn't try to make up for it at all. Will never go back.

Not much meat in lobster but everything else was nice

It was my first time, when we arrived we had a cucumber ginger fresh juice drink it blew me away, it was so refreshing. Then the lobster boil, I really filled my belly it was absolutely delicious. Great vibes beautiful food, I’ll be back☺️💯🫶🏾

A new family run restaurant with amazing seafood and jamaican cuisine

We drove from Doncaster to have a seafood boil and oh my gosh, we were not disappointed. The staff were all so lovely and made sure we were cared for, the food was to die for. We went for the seafood boil for 2 and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in such a long time, so tasty and fresh. I’m usually not a fan of lobster but the meat was so succulent and meaty! Could not recommend enough!

Wow , unbeatable seafood boil. This seafood and tingz restaurant got amazing cajun sauce . It is very authentic aroma when you have with prawns, mussels Lobster, snow crab, potatoes ,eggs and My favourite corns. I must say sauce is fantastic If you a fan of seafood boil . You MUST TRY THIS place. Highly recommence. Definitely, we will come back. Affordable Price. Quite long for waiting but it worth to wait.

Food is delicious but portion size ridiculous especially the ackee and salt fish when i got home and opened the container it was disappointing then we bought wings and the 2 members of staff were thinking 🤔 how much they should be charging for the chicken wings they did not have a clue what to charged 14 pounds for everything we had bought we gave cash they didn't even have lose change in the cash register not professional at all.

This shop is so hot and miss. The prawns are not what’s pictured. One day the serve shell on prawns the next day no shell. They are too inconsistent and this order was terrible. I also paid £6 for sweet chilli wings which were in fact 4 reheated fried wings. I won’t be ordering again…

Food was really good tonight full of flavour and tasty.

Never ordering from here again. Did not get the two items I ordered and the pepper shrimp was more like a tasteless shrimp.

I never leave Reviews but I must say that the service and the food received today was top tier! Keisha, Krista and Jacob created the perfect atmosphere for delicious food and tasty dishes.

Steam fish didn't come with crackers as shown in picture. Corn was spoilt based on the number of brown kernels also a bit fish sauce a bit salty . First time ordering this dish. Soup good as always.

I order stewed fish with rice. I was very satisfied by the taste and the portion was generous. Quite reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend.

Did not get my vegan Mac and cheese

The seafood boil here was one of the best I’ve had in South London. The sauce was so flavourful and the seafood was cooked to perfection. It did take quite a while for the food to come out but I appreciate that she took her time to make it with a lot of thought. The staff (I didn’t get her name) was incredibly friendly and you can tell she really put her heart into making the food for us which I also really appreciate. I’ll definitely be coming back again :) Only issue is the difficulty in parking around the area especially depending on what time of day you’re going. There is pay by phone parking on the residential streets but it’s hard to find a space so it’s probably best to get a bus or Uber if you plan to eat in.

Seafood is nothing fresh and small portion, we ordered a seafood platter which costs £80, at this price I would expect at least something fresh but instead, all the seafood was so dry and plain, they gave you lots of potato’s and eggs to fill you up. We went on a Saturday at 6pm which should be the busiest day for all restaurants but there wasnt even 1 table apart from us which is a sign of the quality of food. Service was also poor, we waited like an hour to get our food, the ladies there were either on phone or joked with each other in the kitchen. No plates or cutlery even the food arrived until we asked. We asked 3 times for napkins and eventually I had to go to the counter to get it myself. We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews here but I now believe the reviews were written fake. If you want good seafood, please avoid. You won’t be able to do nice seafood if a restaurant isn’t busy enough to turnaround fresh seafood and also do menu like a cafe. Place is also dirty, and stink in the toilet. Waste of money, very disappointing.

Late, missing items food stale

I ordered the medium seafood boil with a snow crab cluster and was happy with the taste of the food. However, the portion size was small in my opinion. The snow crab clusters being very small in particular (£35 for the seafood boil medium). I was not asked what sauce for my seafood and which was also strange, so I was just given the garlic herb sauce, which was ok thankfully but was also very oily. I would recommend that customers are provided with the correct eating utensils to ensure that food can be enjoyed properly as knife and fork just isn't enough. A suitable alternative to Fat Crab, but they have a long way to go still.

Taste was great and I like the fact that the food was extremely hot when got to me👍🏾

Food was delicious and seafood boil and steam fish were made to order so very fresh. I travelled over an hour to visit and it was worth the drive! I gave 4 stars and not 5 because I prefer my prawns deveined. Also a choice of fish for the steam fish I.e. snapper and bream as not everyone likes sea bass. The pepper prawn sauce was amazing and would go well with the seafood boil.

I ordered 3 portions of plantain and only one came. The rice was so hard, the wings was half a wing and was cold and dry. The portions was small. It also said 5 pieces of wings and only 3 came. 1st n last time

Mixed up my curry goat with curry chicken. But I didn't mind only because it tasted good. Never sent cutlery even though I asked.

Great place to dine. Very accommodating and they have the freshest of flavours. The juices are made daily and the food is cooked to order. I would recommend eating here if you love seafood boil and authentic Caribbean breakfasts. They even provide the apron and gloves.

Visited here on randomly in the evening and decided the get a seafood boil and jerk chicken. Everything was fresh and the place was clean. I could tell they really care about their food quality and customers. There was a lovely lady at the front who took our order and advised us in what to get. She was took her time with us and was lovely. There was also a man (I think the owner) he was great too provided us with a sample of the pepper prawns to try (will definitely be returning for these!!) overall it’s a great place lovely service and amazing food. I wish them all the best in their business. Looking forward to visit again!! Food was 10/10 no complaints <3

Me and my girlfriend got a seafood boil, jerk chicken & the peppered prawns and I must say this this might’ve been the best seafood boil I’ve ever had. It was full of flavour and the spice was just right. I highly recommend that people give this place a try and you will not be disappointed 🤝🏾

This was my first order with them and I was so disappointed. Very expensive. Not worth the money at all. I go bag full of boiled potatoes for £35. Very salty and no flavours at all. I'm very upset. Don't waste your hard earned money with them people.

I went there on a Friday and order 2 yellow tail sniper for the family and trust me it was off the chain it was very delicious, not to mention the seafood soup it was so good,you all need to go and check it out you won't regret it. And the the staff was good excellent costumer service.

I went on the Saturday, they promoted a £10 off on Instagram and when I went they said you have to choose the large seafood boil to get £10 off. I shared with my friend, it came with one lobster tail and half of a small king crab. Also had lots of muscles, mini potato’s, prawns, 2 eggs, 2 sweetcorn’s. Usually £45, with discount it was £35. It also has a locality card system, and we got a stamp!
