It was busy but girls at the reception were so efficient and fast to serve so we don’t had to wait longer. Coffee was great as all the Costa points. Cookies I didn’t like so much but overall good experience. Highly recommended

The staff are friendly and they remember the orders of frequent customers. The food could be a bit better ie more bacon in the sandwiches. The bread has stayed the same but the fillings have reduced.

Charged £4.45 requested a refund and only received £3.35. Told her she made a mistake I then received £3.85! I couldn’t be bothered and left the store, I’ll contact my bank because Costa staff have no common sense!

Hard to be disappointed with Costa. It was not busy and the coffee is always perfect. Ideal for a breakfast on the go on a busy day.

Tall girl, pale, light brown hair- highly disturbing by flirty behaviour behind the bar towards male colleague whilst waiting to be served by her on the till. Got my order wrong after specifying im allergic to nuts so no hazelnut syrup but caramel instead please. She was too busy giggling, smiling and speaking to colleagues instead of focusing on customer service. When colleagues left the bar to be busy cleaning outside she was having to serve me. She kept watching him from behind me and watching around the store, speaking to colleagues giggling and smiling around that the lady and the man behind me realised too making a disturbed face to me. The lady behind me was also complaining with how rudely she answered her question about the cakes. Unprofessional and disgusting service and experience from that colleague.

Did not receive my sandwich,it’s the 3time this month that something is missing just eat need to get this right I can’t keep having to complain

Awful customer service, yesterday around 4pm, the lady behind the till taller girl. Treated customers like no one. A guy in front of me was asked to move farther down because she said.. you booking the queue, can you move. Gentleman had a bad leg and he was balancing on the counter with his hands. Me and my friend were next. When we were served my friend asked me , where I can get my Costa card. Because I'm old Costa customer, I have my customers loyalty card. So I kindly asked the same girl how can we get card for my friend. She therefore answered...go to your appand download, we don't do cards for 2 years and she laughed.. Message to her- Dear worker, if you don't like to work in Costa, please find another job, or of you have no other options, please be kind to people, at the end of the day, you get paid because I come in to buy my coffee. The customers buy your bread on your table. Don't need to be rude. Not going there ever ...

On my recent visit to Costa Coffee in Croydon, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee. Feel sorry for the staff at this shop, they had to deal with a mental health guy who can’t stop disturbingly laughing out loud, and then another guy who tries to smoke in the shop…frustrating…I had to change to another place because of all the disturbance.

Everytime I order from this place like today, no matter the delivery driver my order is ALWAYS wrong. That only means that the staff are not giving the right indications to the drivers. I am still hungry...

Very happy with Costa coffee itself but disappointed with just eat service. Because the driver took so long my food came cold. I know Costa made the effort to bring my coffee hot as I requested and they wrote it on my cup, I am also a regular customer there and always leave satisfied. Just eat delivery need to do better

The cabinet has a good variety of snacks and cakes, coffee and other drinks. can get pretty busy. it is quite messy in there some time. Staff are not too bad most of the time. Toilets are not cleaned frequently enough.

Order was over 2.5 hours late so everything was stone cold and JustEat is impossible to contact so struggling to get a refund.

Yeah, it was really groovy. There was music playing and it was friendly and it was clean and they served very very quickly and the lady working there was efficient. overpriced though.

Very hot inside if the weather is hot as only the a/c is on the side of wall near fridges and too many tables and chairs cramped in there.

07/07/23 -between 5pm to 6pm- lady with dark hair and manager. Manager doesn't see Customer face at all. Dark hair lady saying I am doing favour for you to choose sandwich.. Sorry food good but not good atmosphere.

The staff here are lovely, down to earth and friendly, nothing is too much bother. I always get takeaway so I can't really comment on what it's like to stay in but if you're in central Croydon and on the go it's a handy friendly place to pick up a coffee. Also, good vegan options and they do iced vegan coffees / plant milk iced coffees which is perfect for this time of year!

Absolutely shocking service! Staff are providing service below the costa standards and getting away with it. They are using trainee’s to make drinks before even training them on how to carry out the basics. Need to get someone from your head office to come and carry out an observation in this place! Disgusted!

My order came too late. Not happy at all

The delivery person dropped the 2 drinks on the road when he arrived and promised to return with fresh drinks. This was over an hours ago and I am still waiting for the hot chocolate and black coffee!!!

Good service but a bit expensive

I ordered two coffees which cost £7.00. I thought this was expensive. We both had a medium-sized coffee, which was a good-sized cup. I have noticed that some coffee shops and cafes now have smaller cups, so a medium coffee now looks like a small coffee, and a large coffee is now a medium coffee. At least when you do go to Costa, you are getting what you asked for.

Staff are always very polite with a smile and the food is always fresh and tasty , never had a bad experience when I'm in there .

Love Cappuccino coffee, it's the only coffee I drink as I'm a Tea person but I have Cappuccino when I go out. Love Costa from it's points system to it's cakss etc.

The staff at the Croydon Costa especially the manager are excellent. They make you feel welcomed as you walk through the door and take great care of you with speedy service . It is a pleasure going to the Croydon Costa.

Rolo hot choc is yum! One of the places in Croydon North end which is open till 7 on weekdays. Helpful staff and very fast service.

I visit your croydon North brunch. There was only two staff one of them was serving other one was talking on the phone. I ordered medium latte way of your staff done the coffe was rubbish nothing like latte l tasted it wasn't right. I took it back to till all your staff said it is coffe and milk what do you expect. I asked to be changed he change it no apology nothing he done it same it is still not very nice. I paid £ 3. 50 for nothing. Not happy at all. Staff are unprofessional.

It was only a flying visit. Very busy, but a friendly gentleman, let me share his table. Gingerbread latte is amazing!

The order was delivered to the wrong place initially causing the order to be cold upon receiving it.

Placed an order for circa £70 worth of stuff for a client visit. Order was never delivered, while it states as delivered on the app. There is no option to choose missing order, only missing items. Selected all items as missing, and received an email asking for photographic evidence. What am I supposed to take a picture off, the empty hand? Noone picks up the phone, as waited 30 minutes listening to pre-recoded messages. Not had any updates or communication after the initial email asking for photographs. The kicker is also the fact that if you want to put a complaint theough, you have to choose between late or early delivery, but no options for delivery not made. Really awful experience overall.

My order was taken quickly soya latte coffee is normally really good but having it served in the tall glass as I was drinking it in Costa cooled the coffee too much (luke warm 8n fact). Next time I will ask that the cup be warmed up first using the steamer before pouring the coffee in or I should have just asked to have it in my insulated takeaway cup which I carry with me anyway. I know next time. Lesson learnt.

I just had one coffee but they used twice my beans! And they did not accept after

I went there twice today and both times I experienced lovely service, very polite and professional barista. The second time I ordered 2 coffees and I asked that there are put in a tray inside a bag. The barista added a piece of paper/foil between the cup and the lid to make sure my coffees wouldn’t spill. Very considerate and focused on providing tailored high quality service.

Staff were friendly. They have introduced some nice refreshingly different food such as burritos. Meat and vegan . I wish cafe nero would do the same. Open until 7pm now great if you have had a busy long day. Only bad thing is that I think at closing time quite a bit of food may have been thrown away..as although it was offered at reduced price due to the sell by date the food was still there. It looked like they were getting ready to throw it out. Dont know for sure but not good considering the tough times we re in

When I came here they had no cutlery no plates it was all take away but you could sit inside I dont know why.

It was my birthday 🎂 Costa gave me a voucher for a free slice of cake. I also had a white hot chocolate too much cream on top though I like to see what I am drinking cake 🍰 was very nice the shop was busy and the seats outside were all taken a pleasant way to start Saturday morning before shopping
