Costa Coffee in Croydon

Lovely staff - friendly, helpful & efficient. We always feel welcome & it's my local go-to

Quite disappointed in the staff at this establishment. Went in for a coffee with a friend, a lady with redish hair saw us walk in and then continued to walk away into the back of the establishment. We were then left for around 5 minutes which doesn’t seem a lot however as a member of staff at a similar establishment, it is required for someone to be on bar at ALL times. When served there was such a stale energy regarding this staff member who clearly didn’t want to be there. There should be higher levels of training with individuals like this who make an experience debilitating.

Friends are warm, service is fast and nice

A nice quiet place to meet friends and enjoy coffee. No complaints.

Quiet when we visited, staff were charming, food was good as was my cappuccino 🙂

Staff are incredibly friendly and work hard to give everyone a good experience. A lovely little Costa well used by the local community.

Disgusting drinks, staff need serious training because the three drinks I received was absolutely horrible. I didn’t even want them making me a new one. Starbucks for the win because wth.

Been here a few times and find it pleasant and not very busy. The drinks are great and staff are friendly. Ideal place for a catch up away from central Croydon

Sometimes they are okay They get things wrong but fix them I feel they get distracted talking to each other then concentrating on the task which leads to incorrect orders Coffee warm sometimes not always hot ... Friendly staff but just need to concentrate more ...

New Addington Branch. The coffee was nice. The staff were friendly. But there was a very pushy man in there who kept shouting until the staff gave him a free drink. I don't blame them, they didn't want any trouble. The problem is that he will repeat that behaviour next time and it's very uncomfortable for the other customers. In the future, if I use the place again, it will definitely only be take out.

The staff at Addington Costa are the best, thanks for the advise regarding medium & large take outs.

Normally when I come in here my order is perfectly fine. However today, I asked for a soy milk hot chocolate and when I tasted it, it was almond milk so I had to throw the drink away.

Has seating areas with power, so a great to do some studying/working.

Normally really good service but today a little slow. Stood there for 15 mins waiting for drink, but when I did receive it they did apologise which I'm grateful for.

Called in today for a quick coffee. It was 1hour and 10 minutes prior to the shop closing. I was served a takeaway cup to sit in as “they were closing soon”. I questioned this and was ignored! I asked for a glass of tap water it was warm. The warmest part of the shop at the back was closed for floor cleaning as “they were closing soon”! I sat at the front of the shop. After I sat down the lady behind the counter decided to prop open the door and bring in all the outside furniture placing them beside me whilst I tried to enjoy my coffee! By 4.35pm, 55 minutes prior to closing the shop seemed it was entirely ready to close. I would suggest the franchise owner looks to employ a person who actually wants a job rather than ruin customers experience and lose the shop business. In a climate when there are less people spending money I think it’s a very poor show. Shame on Costa!

Good coffee, very slow service, no doubt due to lack of staff

Staff always polite and really nice.

The members of staff don't seem to want to work here. I have been in this branch a few times, but they always look unhappy. I had a coffee with cream on top to take away as well as other drinks and I ended having to drive back to the shop to return it because the cream tasted and smelled off. But the lady at the counter told me it was impossible. Sadly I offered her to have a sip but for some reason she didn't. She did make another one with a "different" kind of cream. I don't think I will be coming here again, I rather visit another coffee shop.

A nice place and the staff are nice but management really needs to review how they make their coffee. I drink coffee a lot but it’s only from this particular Costa when I drink a coffee I suddenly feel like I’ve had 15 espressos and see symptoms of caffeine overdose. Pretty sure they are putting waaaaaaaaay too much espresso in their coffees - beware!

Doing great all things considered, especially with the weather having fallen a bit flat.

Love the mocha and staff women always go for lunch break as I'm a security guard but sadly had my last mocha as I left my job

Quick service and a good system in place.

Since covid the pride has definitely been lost. Dunno maybe its me. But handy tip for you latte lovers.. ask for flat white milk its the best 👌

Costa is a great place to take a break and get a cup of coffee/tea or just some drinks with friends. I rate this 5 starts because I love the food and drink at Costa, and I am so happy when this came to New Addington.
