Six of us went for a birthday supper and two couples chose the surf and turf priced @£95. The portion sizes were utterly inadequate - two small scallops placed on big shells and the smallest half lobster I have seen in a long time. The portion of steak was fatty, chewy and very small. Appalling value for money. The waiters kept asking if we wanted more water which came in unbranded bottles so I wrongly assumed that it was filtered water provided free but when the bill arrived, the restaurant had charged us £30 for water. I complained to a waiter who then had a word with his manager and we were given free desserts plus money off the drinks but no personal apology from any manager. I will never return and believe this restaurant should be avoided if you want to eat good food at reasonable prices.

Came here for a drink and to try their £1 Oysters and from there we were going to see if we would stay for dinner…. We only stayed to finish our wine and Oysters as the service was appalling and the staff totally not interested in serving customers. They were not short of staff as there were three of them chatting away outside despite having an alone at full terrace and not a soul bothered about us. Finally we waved down one waitress when they had finished their long chat and reluctantly she came over with a menu. We ordered 2 glasses of Meursault and a dozen oysters. The wine arrived and clearly one was very nice and chilled as the glass was nicely frosted with condensation whilst the other obviously came from another bottle which hadn’t chilled enough as the glass wasn’t frosted with condensation…. I questioned the waiter who shrugged his shoulder, felt the glass and said to me it’s cold and the same wine then walked away…… in the end was right, the glass I had was barely cold. The oysters were tiny, and because they were so tiny, the chef didn’t cut them from the muscle as they would look too small so you were left to separate the oyster yourself with a fork….no wonder they were £1. Honestly, once they were in your mouth they were the size of phlegm. Not worth even 20p in my opinion. So don’t be fooled like we were by the £1 Oyster Happy Hour. Getting the bill took ages and if we had just walked away without paying, not one of the staff would have noticed, however as we are not such kind of people we waved and waited patiently for our bill. What is it with restaurants in nice locations? I don’t think they can blame it on Covid anymore or the lack of staff as there was an army of them… I blame it on leadership and in this case the total lack of it. How much potential revenue this restaurant loses would not be a surprising number to me and I am more surprised this place has lasted this long given their total disinterested staff and poor leadership.. There are far better Seafood restaurants around… don’t waste your time here is my advice.

I love this spot, it has this incredible edge to it and never fails to deliver. It encompasses great food and service, each time I come here usually for the £1 oysters between 3-6pm Monday to Friday I find it so exciting, the clientele that comes here is so varied and from every corner of the earth young and old that brings people together. For me, It’s my No 1 spot 🦪🦪🦪🦪🦪

I had great memories from Wright's ...unfortunately it hasn't delivered recently...one can blame brexit/ covid BUT the quality of food and service have gone down big time. The recent visits were not satisfactory...not returning anytime soon.

The food was fantastic, oysters followed by prawns and steak well cooked, presented and the service was exceptional with a surprise

I adore the edginess of this stunning venue by the power station and river, Wright brothers restaurant in Battersea power station, one of my favourite spots in the world I prefer sitting outside or by the kitchen and bar in The winter The team of kitchen and floor staff is on every occasion just perfect and so often make laugh What more can you ask for

Great spot overlooking the Thames. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The food was excellent. The only negative was that waiting staff on the terrace welcomed and stroked/ fondled dogs who were with customers and did not wash their hands afterwards . So I would have some doubts about food hygiene .

Location is nice, decor and ambience not bad. Our waitress was great...what let us down was the food and value for money. We started with soda bread and New Orleans Oysters, which were tasty enough...but small and at £12 for two, expensive! We then chose: Surf & turf for 2 Dry-aged beef rump, 1/2 lobster, garlic roasted scallops, choice of two sauces & fries This is under the sharing platter section of the menu and at £95 we had high hopes. What we actually received was essentially a surf and turf for one, at the price of two people. Half a lobster (as stated in on the menu) was tiny and over cooked, the steak was small ( we asked for medium, it came well done, our waitress recognised this and had it changed) two scallops and one portion of fries. We were left feeling like we had shared one persons meal, but paid for twice the money for it. Other diners meals looked good and for a fraction of the price we paid, so if you intend to visit, maybe avoid sharing platters altogether.

Really excellent oysters, pricey but that’s how it is. Knowledgeable staff, pleasant service and a first rate Bloody Mary. Very well presented tuna tartare and a good cheese plate with some interesting choices. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and it was a very pleasant experience.

We’ve dined at Wright Brothers on numerous occasions over almost two years and recommended it to so many people for the excellent experience. Our most recent visit was a stand out experience but not for good reason sadly. We arrived and waited to be sat outside with one waitress standing with her back to us. After 5 minutes, I asked politely if we could take a seat which she absent mindedly agreed to without any greeting, warmth or reassurance we would be seen to (even if we were told it may have been a wait). We sat at the edge of the outdoor area and after 20 minutes, I had to go inside and ask for a menu from the manager who was not at all enthused to be bothered and in a slap dash manner told me we would be “looked after” outside (despite having been ignored thus far). We waited a further 15 minutes to be seen outside to order cocktails and oysters, eventually having to go back up again and ask if we could have our orders taken. I was then told £1 oysters were not being served (which they were given it was a Friday) and by the time the oysters arrived we had finished our drinks. The oysters and drinks were excellent but sadly this was overshadowed by our disappointing experience. This was made exponentially worse by extremely poor and incredibly rude customer service from wait staff who clearly were not interested and a manager who didn’t seem to care about customer experience. We would have been more understanding had our expectations been managed with reassurance there may be some waits or reduced staffing (which there didn’t appear to be an issue with). Sadly, this experience was enough to deter us from coming back in future which is a shame given the food and drinks are great.

Had a fabulous late lunch here with a dear friend. She had booked the table in person earlier in the day. On arriving mid afternoon the maître de greeted her by name and showed us to a window table with a lovely view of the river and so began a wonderful dining experience. Her scallops and then the fish pie main were delicious . I had oysters and more oysters . Our waiter a charming young man named Oliver taught me all about the different oysters and what to expect with regard to flavour. He was attentive and knowledgeable and made our visit truly special. We were given time to enjoy our cocktails and this dining experience. We would truly recommend a visit . Thank you so much for a great time .

On this occasion our visit was disappointing. We arrived at 19.30pm and had ordered by 19.45pm. Our drinks and starters were delivered by 20.00pm but by 21.00pm we still had not had our main course. Our waiter went on a break and when questioned he thought we had been served our main and had finished He was very apologetic and said the order had been missed. At 21.15pm we were told it would be 45 mins so we paid our bill left having not had a main course. We reported this to the manager yesterday when they asked for `feedback` on our visit but have not had a reply. We are regular visitors to Wright Brothers but this visit was not up to the standard we have enjoyed previously.

There was a very long wait on our brunch order but the owner provided all of our meal and coffees complimentary. This is a sign of genuine customer care and we were very grateful. It has meant this is a positive review instead of negative! The food was excellent when it arrived. Thankyou

Really poor service. Were intending to eat, but decided against it - waitress got our drink order wrong, having waited ages for it to arrive. Fairly rude and unfriendly - with a manager waltzing around clearly not capable of managing the place properly. Decided against food, asked for the bill - which took ages to arrive - and it had the incorrect drink on it, as well as a ‘service’ charge, despite having obviously been given very poor service. One to avoid. Poorly ran.

Restaurant is in a great location by Battersea Power Station on the banks of the River Thames. The service is amazing with friendly waiters and waitresses. The choice of seafood is brilliant - we opted for Mussels cooked in wine, Haddock & Chips and a Plateau Fruits de Mer (seafood of oysters, mussels, clams, large prawns and 2 large whelks). All cooked to perfection ! The Muscadet was good but on the expensive side of £11.50 a glass. Highly recommended

Booked here with my son and daughter to celebrate my husbands birthday last Saturday. First visit but it won't be the last! Really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and was served by a lovely, friendly, very helpful waitress - nothing was too much trouble. Best of all no cheesiness for his birthday, just a chocolate happy birthday plate! Really nice buzz and atmosphere in the place - thought it was great!

Ate here twice in the last week: Fish and chips for lunch, massive battered fish. Flat iron steak for dinner. Good tasty stake. I cooked the way I like. Efficient service from reception to servers. NOT pretentious like some other restraunts at Battersea Powerstation where you have to book, but half the tables are always empty.

We came for dinner last night, it was absolutely amazing! All of the food was delicious but we would definitely recommend the octopus, ceviche and Dover sole! We were served by Theo who was absolutely lovely and provided excellent recommendations! We will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Lovely fish restaurant in the vicinity of Battersea Power Station, which is now a shopper’s paradise. Friendly service and great atmosphere.

My family and I visited wright bros on Saturday 18 th November, The seafood restaurant is located on the bank of the river thames in Battersea , London. Wright Bros exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service, inviting ambiance, and a diverse menu showcasing fresh, flavorful seafood. The dishes were expertly prepared, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. It's a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts seeking a delightful dining experience. Food , We had a mixed of starters to share , scallops, octopus , garlic tiger prawns , oysters and potted shrimp. The most amazing Dover sole with a variety of vegetables , a mixture of unbelievably delicious deserts which we all couldn’t resist to try. Drinks , I started with the most amazing spicy Bloody Mary , a Gorgeous bottle of Wright Bros own signature Champagne , a bottle or 2 of wine with dinner and finished off with an Espresso Martini. The staff were wonderful and attentive and the setting over looking the River Thames , especially if you were swathed outside was perfect for this family occasion.

Ceviche must be made from super fresh fish. You can’t fake it. Here is one of the best ceviche to be found anywhere in the UK. Simple, super fresh accompanied by light touch veg. Spot on. The whole Dover sole was outstanding. Cooked to perfection. Flat iron steak a bit ordinary but the chilli charred tender stem helped. When doing what they do best - fish and seafood - Wright Brothers are hard to beat. Service good. Noise and restaurant acoustics a bit of a struggle but partly as it’s packed. Enjoyable if you have the budget for a special treat.

This is a nice restaurant by Battersea Power Station with above average prices and you expect a good quality service with good quality food. Food was good, I can’t complain but service was really poor hence I gave 2 :( We came as a family of 3, ordered our starter, main courses and drinks. Starters came on time then we started waiting and waiting, although it wasn’t busy (It was around 4:30 on Friday) food did not come. It was obvious that we have been waiting for the main course! No one paid attention until I asked for another main course, that came and still no main course! Then I lost patience and asked them to check. When they checked, they realised that although order was placed, somehow they missed to cook it! It is one attention waitresses need to give and they would have noticed something not right! I still like this restaurant, would still come, this review is hopefully for learning experience

They really know what they are doing with seafood! I won't elaborate too much but everything was fresh and perfect. Love the choice of oysters and the views of the thames best of all.

Great meal…I had the deep fried oysters to start…followed by sun and turf…with half a lobster…stunning ! To drink l had a Cornish lager ..amazing ! The waiter was so friendly…this has to be one of the best fish restaurants in London .We will definately return.

Very disappointing. We had 2 brill 1 Dover sole and 1 lobster. The fish were nearly £50 each piece and came complete. No one including our waiter or the manger asked us if we wanted the fish filleted. Maybe they had no one capable of doing that. The fish was lovely but would have been so much better if we had not had to fight the bones. Recommend checking if someone can fillet first before ordering, mind you I asked how the special cod cheeks came saying I did not want anything deep fried and that is how they came so maybe that won’t help. Would not go again.

This was our first visit to this branch of Wright Brothers, having been regulars at the now sadly closed branches at Covent Garden and Spitalfields. We scored an outside front row table overlooking the river in the gorgeous sunshine. OH had the fish and chips - fish was great, chips were ok. I had the sea bass ceviche which was delicious and the octopus croquettes from the special board. I was surprised that there were only 2 specials on offer as on visits to other branches there has always been a great selection based on the freshest catch available,

Terrible table service and management! The food and drinks were spectacular. We were greeted by a girl dressed as if she were at a festival rather than work, completely disregarding the dress code that the rest of the team had for the service. After we sat down, what I believe was the reception manager had the audacity to come and tell us that the table was reserved (we had been welcomed and seated 5 minutes earlier by her colleague), coincidentally, the table was no longer reserved when we mentioned that we would be ordering food. This situation is not very professional and quite irritating in terms of customer service. The table was not properly cleaned as it was very sticky. I am very sorry for the kitchen and bar because it was clear that they take their work seriously and do it professionally, but the front office is truly disgusting, very similar to that of a fast-food chain, not suitable for a chain like Wright Bros.

What many restaurants forget - the greeting on arrival is everything! Our party were checked in like a factory line, which another supervisor broke up and tried to check in one of us thinking we arrived separately (we didn’t). All very chaotic and and underwhelming....

We have just finished our evening meal at Wright bros battersea where we found the food to be really enjoyable and served by staff who were helpful ,knowledgeable and efficient an enjoyable evening (although not had the bill yet )

Dined outside and it was a perfect afternoon by the Thames in the shadow of Battersea Power station. Food was first rate. No complaints. Yes expensive but you get what you pay for. Staff friendly and attentive.
