The most delicious golden fish and chips ever! And very cosy inside, lovely friendly staff and nice atmosphere :)

I have been coming here for a number of years, and the service and food is both excellent. The nicest chip shop in Balham!

First order from here. The batter on the fish was the crispiest I have ever had - amazing and not greasy. Sadly, they don't have fish with the skin on.

Excellent delivery, good food, but very poor service from the restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and have seen management changes, covid stoppage and everything in between. Yet trying to get the missing item from my delivery was like trying to get blood from a stone. The order was light of a product which dampened my spirits, after a long day at work and a need for comfort food. There is a flaw in the delivery system when I went without and the restaurant just told me to pay for another item to get it delivered again! Now waiting for my refund. Very disappointed with the service.

Chips were not hot and the size of the codwas not sufficient in size to be classed as large.

Best chicken chips I’ve had in a long time

Whilst this is predominantly a takeaway there are a few tables to eat in, which is what we did. Cod and chips and mushy peas. The cod was really nice, decent size and freshly cooked. The chips are fat and plump and the mushy peas are, well, mushy! You get a sachet of mayonnaise and there’s lashings of salt and vinegar. I so love this local chippery!

My order was extremely late with no reason. Unacceptable.

Half the Chips were stale and old like leftovers from the morning or day before Cod Bites were nice with lovely crispy batter

Driver was early and very polite and found my address no problems. All my food was present with nothing left off the list. All round great delivery 📦

Really excellent food from here. Lovely and fresh and still hot on arrival. The batter is to die for and super crisp and they actually butter the rolls unlike a lot of chips shops. Will definitely be back!

Really excellent; I'm on holiday in London and have eaten three F&C in the past week and this was the best (even compared to Poppies in Camden). The fish is fresh and succulent and was fried to order so was crisp and light. The chips are perfect - crispy outsides and soft centres - i don't know what variety of potato they use but it tastes great. I had a lunch special cod & chips which was a very generous portion and a can of Tango for £11.20 which is great value for a sit down meal (compare Poppies @£19.00 for a small haddock and chips). My new fave London chippy. The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming as well.

Service is top notch and the fish is lovely, but the chips are a bit strange. They taste like oven chips even though I can see they’ve been fried. Perhaps it’s the variety of potato.

Having lived in Tooting Bec many years I have never tried this fish and chip shop. As it was NYE my usual place was closed and it was by luck I found Seascape to be open. I ordered cod and scampi. The cod was amazing. It had been skinned both sides so no black in the batter (which is unusual)- and for that reason Id give it ten plus. My friend who had the scampi said it too was delicious. Although on the pricey side (cod and chips works out to more than £10 a head), it was worth it. I will go back again as it was fab. Would defo recommend.

Very small portion's and the chips were cold and dry and had black bits on them the fish was like a midget you could just about see it and the batter was very oily spose if you go cheep you get what you pay for no wonder they gave a discount

Every experience at this local fish and chip shop has been first class for me. The welcome from the people working there is warm, the food is always fresh and the portions very generous.

Absolutely love their food. It is always fresh, hot and full of flavour. I love the fact they bag my chips I prefer this to boxed chips as I find boxed ones can arrive kind of dry but sea scape chips are my favourite go to. Amazing prices for amazing food So glad I found them during lockdown won't order from another place now.

Fish was over cooked looked like oil had seeped into the batter. the fish inside was dry. The batter wasn't any better on the other side ! I used to like this place but this is the 2nd time I have had a problem. Last time I waited over an hour when I was given 25 - 35 mins time for arrival. The food was warm when it arrived.

Great fish and chips. They also do mushy peas and curry sauce. If you're feeling healthy they will even grill the fish for you. Everything halal, including the battered sausages!

Haddock is great as it's cooked from fresh not to keen on the chips but it maybe the oil

Had Skate and Chips. No one offers skate especially on deliveroo. I used to go to Faulkners Kingsland Road (if you know, you know) for skate and these guys are as good! It was absolutely delicious. Unbelievable bit of fish top notch! I'll be back

I regularly order take away from here I call up prior to arriving and when I do the food is freshly fried and ready to be packed. Chip portions sizes are good and haddock is a good choice here. Kids love the scampi. The food really tastes like the oil is fresh. I’ve never had that slightly stale oil taste you get in some chippys. Generous portions, clean restaurant and friendly staff. Cod was huge and cooked to order in a light fluffy batter. The chips were bang on paired with a delicious curry sauce. Non pretentious, traditional fish and chips! Came on trip advisor to read reviews and glad I chose to try Seascape out!

We had an eat-in lovely fish and chip lunch. The fish was perfect and the chips to die for. The tea was superb also. The price was very reasonable also in comparison to other local fisheries. We will definitely return there.

Returned to this chippy recently for the first time in about 15 years! Still as good as then.
