Woyo in Warrington

Delicious sushi every time. It always tastes so fresh. The shrimp fried rice is the nicest rice I’ve ever had. Lovely staff.

It is a Japanese restaurant opened by a Chinese, so the food it sells is more appropriately called Chinese-style Japanese food than Japanese food. This is not to say that the products produced by this store are not good, but just to point out a fact. The meal I ordered is as shown in the picture, a piece of Teriyaki Chicken Ramen (Tonkotsu Ranen) and a piece of Salmon and Avocado Hand Roll, a total of £15.1, which is considered a relatively affordable meal in the UK. . The portion size may look small, but it is actually enough for a normal adult. The ramen is rich in ingredients: kelp, fish cakes, eggs and teriyaki chicken. The chicken is tender and tasty, and there is a lot of it. The soup base of the ramen is relatively ordinary, but considering the price of this store, I don't think it can force too much, so even if the dine-in food is provided with plastic tableware, it is a bit cheap, but I think it is acceptable. All in all, as a Japanese fast food restaurant, I think this restaurant is of good quality and affordable, and it is totally worth visiting again.

Rude ignorant staff , disgusting sticky dirty table , asked to clean it several times, to be ignored won't come back my custom clearly wasn't wanted.

I was looking for Asian food and I ve been here after a quick research on google. We ordered fried King prawns and a mix sushi which were good and a miso ramen not that good unfortunately. The service is inexistent as is more a take away with some tables then a restaurant. There are no waiter,plastic plates,plastic cutlery and not even a toilet,i had to go in the golden square one! The local has a clean looking but they should keep the extractor fan on all the time and not switching on and off. The smell of oil was very bad and I had to wash all my clothes once back at home. I wouldn't come back

The Singaporean rice had very few veggetables in it so that was a disappoimtment. Loved the Chicken sushi (Katsu)

Because I missed sushi and sashimi so much, I came to this only Japanese restaurant in Warrington to try... Conclusion: I think the quality is similar to the "Zhengxian" takeaway at the MTR station, but the styles are much smaller and much more expensive. Complete .

We went as a family a few days ago. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, esp the sushi and the miso soup. However the special noodles and the Teriaki noodles need a bit more working on to get the taste right. Portions were fair and prices about average for this type of cuisine, and we left feeling full up. The quality of the dishes was great, the food was home cooked and looked and tasted very fresh. We would call on again if in the area.

First time visited this restaurant in town and really enjoyed it. Very tasty teriyaki chicken ramen and their sushi was so freshly made. Even bought one more sushi box to take out after. Shop is clean and service is good too. Will definitely come back soon;)

Nice place for a lunch or snack if you like sushi or noodles

This place is just amazing. So glad I have found it for work lunches. The vegan sushi box is just delicious and made fresh to order. The staff are lovely too. The rest of the menu looks good too. I've seen the noodles beenade fresh too and they smell divine.

Grilled eel was delicious, the chicken yakitori super tender, sweet and savoury. The fried noodles were not bad and the salmon sashimi was lovely. Recommended for a pre-theatre, light and informal meal. Probably more suited to take away, but it was clean, well equipped and the staff were very friendly.

In my opinion-best sushi ever! Always, friendly, helpful, delicious and a nice ambient! Good price! If you have allergies just tell them and they will try to make it possible for you.

An excellent yo sushi competitor. Prices have jumped a bit since last year. The food orders are spot on and friendly staff.

Really nice food, quick and pleasant service.

Not as it's hyped up to be . Dry, hard chicken pieces , Curry sauce was vile and very spicy . The tiniest of chicken pieces and lack of paid 8.50 for a a 1 topping 1 base box which would have been a good price having given a decent meal won't be returning.

Shame it's so quiet, but then, we always get a table. 😁

First time visiting and we were impressed. Very clean inside and the food was cooked fresh to order. We had sushi and Raman, and it was very good. Definitely recommend!

Great Asian food little place that offers sushi, sashimi, nigiri, fried rice and noddles super fresh and home made to order, kitchen is super clean and beautiful seating area outside. The price is fair to the cheap. The main portions are big and good for sharing with a starter. Definitely recommend!

Decent affordable Japanese cuisine in Warrington.

The service was slow, even with hardly anyone in restaurant. I ordered pad Thai, it was not pad Thai, tasted nothing like it, lots of ingredients missing. My friend got Singapore noodles (supposed to be fine noodles) they were large flat rice noodles the same as my pad Thai. The dishes tasted similar, not very nice at all. I’ve been before and it was marginally better, but would not eat here again.

the restaurant is really great! Really clean inside. Delicious food! The only thing I could fault are the plastic boxes served inside. For people who eat inside, they should savor their delicious food in porcelain bowls. It is more ecological. instead of spending plastic, you can pay that money to someone washing dishes. The atmosphere inside would also become more great.

Had a takeaway sushi box. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasabi was a generous portion and very potent, be warned. Made to order, so a little wait but nice and fresh.

We tried the chicken spring rolls, chicken Singapore noodle box and beef teriyaki noodle box. Really tasty, full of flavour. Beef a little bit chewy, hence the 4, not 5 stars, but would definitely return.

Me and my boyfriend visited today and omg it is like the nicest place we have both ever been! Staff where friendly and welcoming, they gave us time to decide what we wanted and they brought our food to our table very very quickly, it was calming and quiet in their, a cheap price range and for the food you get it is very much worth it and very filling 1000% recommend it’s our new fave place!!

Don’t recommend pad thai has nothing in common with original pad thai like says in the description, could not taste tamarind or fish sauce but was a lot of sweet chilli and soy sauce thats not in the recipe also came with green peppers and broccolis that shouldn’t be there but had no coriander, toffu, lime and no meat 2/10

I love this place. Its fantastic value for money, My favs are the salmon roll and chicken rolls. The restaurant is really clean and the food is very fresh. This is where I come if I want Sushi.

Good quality food for a reasonable price. I had the king prawn Singapore rice, and i got around 10 big king prawns. The food was tasty and prepared freshly for us. This is more a cafe for a quick bite rather than an evening meal, but if you want a snack on the go i recommended it.

Really poor service, kids behind the counter cooking our order. Server on the till was dipping his fingers into food on the counter, hands in his mouth 🤮 then handling food. Order came and was tasteless, where were the Chef's... Asked for my money back and will not return, not for me thanks.

Ordered from here for the first time. I’d never even heard of the place before. I saw it on Warrington East. The food arrived piping hot and on time. Really good size portions & really tasty! 100% will be ordering again!

This is my favourite place to eat in Warrington town centre but after visiting on Thursday the 28th of July around 12pm I was very disappointed with the overall experience, I don’t know if this has anything to do with the new staff that were working that day because they couldn’t understand a standard order.

Daughter ordered online, went to collect for her. They said her card had been declined but account showed transaction was paid! The bank has asked for more evidence which she doesn't have. Won't be ordering from here again.

Absolutely superb, freshly made Sushi that never let's you down. This has been our 'go to' place for Sushi since they opened and that won't be changing any time soon.

Really disappointing and actually annoying experience, where I’d give it 0 stars if i could. We were ignored at the service desk waiting to make our order, the waitress kept walking straight past us. We waited 45 minutes for a sushi box, then an extra 15/20 mins for our hot food. The restaurant was not busy at all, 3 customers already dining!! Food was being served to people who had ordered at least 30 minutes after us. The waitress would shout across from the counter at customers…”ey, you two girls. Yeah, you. What was your order again?” Really inappropriate. 2 children arrived…which I can only imagine were hers, and they were served instantly with free food and endless amount of drinks while me and partner waited 45 minutes for a bit of sushi. Other customers were given extras with their meals to apologise for their wait…we were completely ignored. Only good thing about the food after it was slammed down on the table in front of us…it was hot. No sense of urgency in anything they were doing and quite frankly a rude experience.

Sorry, honestly the one of the worst sushi I have in Manchester. It is my first time to visit the shop , and I ordered Tuna but it doesn’t looks fresh at all. -Rice not well cooked, it totally waste my money and time. No next time .

Very disappointed. I have bought 2 rice noodles asked with vegetables, but there was only noodle and tiny broccoli. Even if on the menu was said carrots, green peppers, spring onions. It was very bland and uninspiring. We have spent 12pounds, we didn't finish it. Must do better because there better place in town where get noodles.

Just had a delivery of 2 rice boxes from Woyo,for my daughter and myself. I must say the food was delicious. I'll be ordering again this weekend so good to find a restaurant of this quality delivering.

Impressive. Staff are friendly, food is great, and the portions are more than filling. Thoroughly enjoyed the sushi as not many restaurants get it right. These boys are top notch. Cost is relative. We got what we paid for. Thanks WOYO!

Cheap delicious Asian fusion restaurant in the Golden Square mall area. Definitely worth a visit, they have fantastic noodle dishes. I will be back next time I visit

I usually order for delivery and have no complaints. The food taste nice whether it be the vegan/veggie options or regular options. Great noodle dishes, good portion. The one time that there was a slight error, they sent me a replacement that night on my request. Thank you :)

Uber eats order is okay but far from good. Old odd tasting edamame beans. Discolored red tuna nigiri and dry ginger next to the makis. Second time ordering from here and compared to my last experience this was a big disappointment.

Not very tasty, should be an option to choose portion size. Disappointed.

Food was quite pricey especially when you add in some toppings you might normally expect to get with your noodles or rice. The portions are very big (too big), but I wish you could order smaller portions to make it better value and keep the price down. Sushi was very nice and much more affordable than other places

I have just ordered food from this restaurant for the first time. I was so excited when I looked online and seen Japanese and sushi for delivery. I have been a sushi lover for over 20 years. I ordered 2 sushi boxes and 2 noodle boxes. The sushi was not too bad by Warrington standards even though the fish was cut so thin and spread over the rice which made it practically transparent and tasteless. Both noodle dishes were disgusting. For a start both dishes were not hot. One was a Pad Thai that was tasteless. The noodles were all stuck together under a little layer of chicken and very pale coloured vegetables. The broccoli looked like it had been boiled before being added to the dish and was soggy. I could not eat it so I tried the other dish which was noodles in special sauce. The noodles in this dish were really dry, hardly any sauce. The mixed meat was dry and the vegetables were the same as on the other dish. I can't express how disappointed I am. There is £30 down the drain. I'm not sure if this is always the standard of food you prepare? I can honestly say I have had better dishes from a Fish and Chip shop! Thanks for ruining what was to be a special treat for my son and I. Oh I forgot to mention, almost 2 hours I waited for delivery.

Would give 6 stars if I could, Hands down the best food I’ve ever had. When the noodle box came, it was really full so you get a lot for the money. Food tasted amazing, I always get a noodle box and chicken spring rolls which are also spot on and really large. AMAZING 10/10

Food from here is gorgeous! I ordered a woyo special noodle box and my boyfriend ordered a teriyaki noodle box they were both outstanding, the honey tempura prawns were beautiful the spring rolls were crunchy and perfect which is hard to find and the chicken yakatori is a must have!

Ordered from Woyo on Saturday the 6th of Feb for delivery and i am so glad i did! I ordered the Panko Honey King Prawns, Chicken Dumplings and the Chicken Japanese Udon Noodles and it was all exceptional quality! The prawns were so meaty and the portions are a good size! The quality of the food is unreal and if you want a taste of Japan then look no further! Reasonable prices and fresh, hot food delivered to your door! This will be my go to asian/japanese takeaway going forward! Highly recommended!

Just want to put out there that I order from Woyos mostly 2/3 times a week and 2 out of the three orders are wrong just had the food turn up 30 minutes late to a very ruder delivery driver, who got declined as not everything given was inside the bag

Having eaten here numerous times, the quality is topnotch. If you're looking for a junky, MSG-filled meal, this is NOT it. The flavours are fresh and delicious. The portions are generous and the food doesn't disappoint.

I've wanted a decent place to get sushi in Warrington for ages. This is that place. The food was fresh and delicious. Delivery has always been on time and ordering has been easy and quick. I've had the pad thai, sushi and prawn tempura. All of these were delicious and a favourite spot of mine in Warrington.

I love this place. I’ve only ever ordered sushi so couldn’t comment on other menu options. The restaurant is always impeccably clean. Reasonably priced and very tasty sushi. In Warrington!

I ordered food for delivery and it was the worst experience ever!! I received my food after 90min!! Didn't get my money back, and food was poor quality, I think sushi you can buy from Lidl is higher quality than one I got after 90 min of waiting. Even after I canceled my order and was promised to get my money back it never happened. Didn't try food in restaurant, but delivery experience was horrible. I do not recomend!

Ordered Saturday night takeaway on Uber Eats, spending £35 in total. Ordering online was straightforward, delivery was on time and driver was pleasant - this is the only positive thing I can say about the experience. I ordered a King Prawn Singapore Rice Box, which was incredibly bland and had very little flavour. Other dishes were spicy but, again, little flavour. There are so many other fantastic food outlets in Warrington, and I'd urge you to consider your options before buying. Overall, poor quality, taste and value.

Omg what an amazing place. So stuffed after the Singapore noodles. If your looking for something different in Washington and you fancy noodles / rice or something different try Woyo restaurant situated in Golden Square...
