Poor and slow service and fish was the worst I have had from a chippy.

Fish and chips were OK. The batter on the fish was underdone

Huge potions, but sadly the quality was lacking. They used to be much better here.

Ordered a chip butty via just eat tonight, and there was a woodlouse cooked into the meal. Never had issued before as staff have been polite, but it certainly made me reconsider ordering again.

Best battered fish chips .plus scraps ..they were amazing ..and freshly cooked ..thanks realy enjoyed them .

2nd time I've been now and both times the chips have been rank. Chips not cooked propely and still hard in the middle, won't be returning. - tried for a 3rd time and all fool me as again quality on the chips poor. Chips was cold and hard tasted like they've been sat there for ages. Never tried fish from there so can't give a full review on the shop as whole but chips each time have been of poor quality. Staff friendly and decent size portions. Defo not trying them again.

I ordered months ago over just eat for fish chips mushy peas and curry sauce never got delivered rang loads of times no refund at all unfortunately my recommendation -10 apolling so they basically conned me put of £16+

I rang to place a order to pick up in 30 minutes as a was going to work. Wen I got there 25 mins later it was closed. The guy in the shop said he thought I was a crank call. Had to go get food elsewhere.

Horrible place horrible experience they'll take your order and not deliver it even though you've spoken to them they don't like answering there phones. Save your money or order elsewhere avoid this place at all costs

We loved going to this place every week spent over £30 each week for the family but last two times the chips have been burnt and the fish very oily but my last visit I made a telephone order, she told me ready in 20mins I arrived 25mins later for her to give my fish’s to other customers, what’s the point in taking phone orders if your going to make the customer wait 40 mins for the food , when i challenge her she was rude , on packaging my order I asked her if she packed everything she said YES with a lot of confidence, went home and she didn’t pack the item she said yes too. On reflection she tried to get one over me by not putting my item in on purpose . She has poor hygiene and very rude to customers. I think the owner is a nice guy but he needs to fix up his staff they owe me a item but I don’t think we will be going here again.

First time using via Uber eats and was very disappointed, the food took 20 mins longer than the max time in Uber eats, when it came the chicken samosas which were actually spring rolls were that spicy they were inedible, the chips looked great as were a nice thickness and colour but the majority were that crispy you couldn’t eat them (they look like they had been fried multiple times) the curry sauce was only like warm but was tasty. At this stage I wouldn’t use again, was not worth the extended wait time with the dwlivery

Went tonight! What’s happened? New owners that’s what! Absolutely disgusting fish batter soft and greasy ( not nice and crisp like they were when the old owners had it) chips luke warm greasy, and peas bright green with a funny taste!! Went in the bin

Used this place a few times, never had a problem, but last week ordered fish & chips. Got home looking forward to my meal chips were freshly cooked but the fish had gone stiff, it had obviously been sitting for an 1hr or so waiting for a mug like me to come & pay X amount of money. And take it home. You just lost a Customer... Never going their again..

The fish was maybe hanging around a bit too long, the batter was hard rather than light and crispy. Chips were fresh though so I am.guessing we just came a bit too late in the day (7:30pm)

A proper fish and chips shop. Fried in beef dripping (halal) The taste is absolutely stunning. We got the special and chips with mushy peas for £10. The fish was huge and thick Perfect batter, crunchy and soft flaky from inside. It was delicious 😋 Highly Highly recommended My favourite place for fish and chips in Yorkshire now. You have to try it You will not be disappointed

Nice little team working here at Worth Valley Fisheries, frying in Halal beef dripping (veg oil on pre-ordering). Very generous chip portion and delicious crispy battered fish.

Unfortunately I couldn't eat my fish and chips as it was covered in vinegar which I can't stand, so after paying for it delivering for the family I had to make my own food. Good job I don't have allergies as it was stated on line when ordering

Very friendly staff. Good price. However the fish and chips are very small portions even the fish are small . The chips themselves are more like ends and not chips.

Food was lovely guy who owns it is a nice guy, but the person who was serving needs lessons in customer service. The way she was speaking to customers was appauling. She completely ignored me when it was my turn to be served, instead, she walked off into the back room. No manners at all. If she'd have been working for me, she would be sacked.

On 28/7/19 at about 16.50 I called for fish and chips, upon eating them the fish fell apart, this revealed 2 thin pieces of fish squashed together then battered, this is disgusting, poor quality fish used, this is not good practice for a fish shop with a good reputation, I phoned the shop to complain and the boss did apologise, but this should never be passed off as a fish, be warned people.

Stopped off for a late tea after a waste of time & annoying visit to Dunhelm in Keighley, the fish & chips were gorgeous, the best we'd had for a long time, worth the drive from Halifax, we'll definately be back.

Amazing chippy! The haddock is superbly done, the batter is awesome and the chips are very fresh. It's about as good as a local chippy can get! The staff are very friendly, and even though there can be a little bit of a wait, the food is VERY well worth it.

Regular stop off point from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway at Ingrow station. Get off on the train towards Keighley, 2 minutes walk to the F&C shop, back to the station and eat F&C waiting for next train back to Haworth. Fish are excellent, on this last visit I saw two fishcakes ready and opted for one with chips. Again, excellent.

We have tried most other fish & chip shops within a 10 mile radius and always end up coming back. Others maybe good on occasions, Worth Valley is the best, every time. Well with going the extra mile to get them.

Probably the best fish & chips I've ever had. I eat fish and chips at least twice a week and have tried every chippy around... but surprisingly not this one. Today I was passing so gave it a go. Special and chips were of superior quality and cooked to perfection. Cooked in the proper traditional way, this man deserves an award if he has not already. Can tell he takes great pride in doing his job right. Will definately be returning

Planned a visit here as part of a day out on the KWVR, as the place is just a short walk from Ingrow West Station. Simply the best fish and chips I have ever had, cooked to perfection. Very fresh fish in a wonderful crispy batter, and great chips. Portion appears small at first, but is just right.

We Love These Fish & Chips So Much..We Travel Regularly From Halifax For Them..Excellent..Well Worth A Visit!

This has is one of the best, if not THE best chippy in the land. Forget the likes of the hyped-up Anstruther Fish Bar etc, this is where it's at for proper fish & chips.

For the past twelve years we have visited the area two or three times a year to see family and enjoy the amazing Yorkshire countryside. We only discovered this fish and chip shop a couple of years ago following a trip on the Worth Valley Railway, still better late than never! We make a point of always treating ourselves to Trevor's delicious fish and chips and Trevor and his staff are always so helpful and friendly. I gather that Trevor has been there 30 years and he deserves a well earned rest but please don't hang up your fish fryer yet!

Very enjoyable visit with not only pleasant staff, quality views and surrounding counties, excellent cake selection, the best ice cream and a very thorough collection of Hornby model trains for any enthusiasts out there , this is especially the cafe for you !

Car Park at side, shop is alongside main Keighley to Haworth Road, almost opposite Ingrow Station on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Prompt, friendly, efficient service, great food, great value.

Excellent fish and chips. Very much quality, than quantity. The fish I had today melted in the mouth. Not to much batter, just enough to cover and hold the fish while cooking. Chips, what can I say but perfection. Thank you.

Ok but the fish arent very big - go a bit further towards Keighly and use Pardgetts - bettter quality and cooked in dripping - proper Yorkshire fish and chips

This is one of the few fish shops that still fry their fish in beef dripping. In addition, this shop only serves haddock as opposed to the less tasty cod. This combination makes this the best fish and chip shop for miles around and now with their new adjoining car park, it is definitely the place to go if you are looking for good quality traditional fish & chip.
