Their was no ketchup at the kitchen door when my American burgers turned up. I was going to order a stake but no peppercorn sauce. The rude women in kitchen shouted her mouth of all because I asked for ketchup and said go to the bar and ask. As bad staff to busy chatting about their weekends the service is a joke and would recommend not to come as quietly of food is very poor and the only people you find are n here are the ones barred from the moon and stars. The staff think it’s their second choice to serve customers. First choice is to chat to each other. Burgers not worth the money but the drugs are cheep in here. Plenty of room to snort your lines over the crap covered toilets. I would rather eat dog than eat in here again 🤪🤔😂😂😂😂 🤔

I visited this pub after work to join my husband fir a drink. We have been here many times before and you get just what you expect from a Wetherspoons. It is nice and cheap for drinks and food. It can be very noisy in here, people singing when they have had a good drink! There are a lot of regulars in here and they sublime to sit in their regular chairs!

I know it's a Wetherspoons, and you get what you get when you venture in one, but this has to be the worst food I have ever experienced at one of these establishments. We ordered breakfast and it took a long time to come out, which isn't an issue if its fresh and hot, but when it arrived there were elements missing and the bits that were there were pretty much stone cold!! I can only assume that it had all been sitting under heat lamps, which begs the question as to why it took so long to come out. The only thing that stopped this being a one star review was the staff, they were friendly and apologetic, but unfortunately the food has massively let them down! As a side note, a whip round with a clean mop and cloth wouldn't go amiss!! It smelt like the mop used was quite old and left a damp smell around the place.

We popped in early lunchtime, wasn’t that busy, ordered 2 meals. Panini with soft drink and Scampi with chips and soft drink. Sat down with our drinks, watching more and more people coming in, ordering food. Realised after about 40 minutes people who had come in after us were receiving and eating their food. Managed to ask the server who happened to be the Manager as to where our food was? He advised us there was no scampi and they are so busy? So why did someone not come and tell us? They have the table no.? So ordered another panini which came out about 5 minutes later, with a few chips on one of the plates, which was unexpected? Panini’s weren’t that hot, just warm. Oh well, ate them and the Manager went over to the till once we had finished and gave us a refund of majority of the bill, which to be honest was the best bit of our ‘quick lunch’ which ended up being a longer lunch and we had to get back to the car park as our ticket time was nearly up. Overall the food given was average, could have been hotter. The excuse of being busy is not acceptable especially on a Saturday, should perhaps employ more staff (being the Manager was presenting people with their meals) sure there must be students happy to take on the role, unless they have and they hadn’t turned up for whatever reason.

Worlds is a great pub! Usually very quiet/empty but the service is always quick and polite, and the servers are lovely, always see them chatting and enjoying their job which is rare to see. The music is usually the highlight of my visit, however recently it has been lacking, once the pub gets a good DJ in, it'll be back to its elite status

As soon as you enter you need to complete the track and trace, but do it once on your mobile and just resubmit it every other time. The tables all have screens and there is no bar service, you order through the app or waitress / waiter takes your order. You need a mask only when not sitting at your table and the staff are hot on this. Food is still good although last steak was tough - Holly sorted it by replacing the meal with a free beer so 5 stars for Holly!

would not change the drink they did wrong, gave whiskey and Pepsi instead of vanilla vodka. Manager was rude and uncooperative.

We have visited this pub many times bit thus is the first time since Covid. We got a table, lined up at the bar and got our drinks?. We were not asked to fill in anything to do with the Covid regulations. I filled in the form in line and submitted my details. I thought this was mandatory in every pub but this was not the case in this pub.

We are regulars here, but won't be visiting again during the pandemic. Yes there are in and out signs on the door,a table with a mess of contact tracing forms on, hand sanitisers and plastic screens between tables, but that is all. No table cleaning, we had to ask to have our table cleaned as it was clearly still dirty from the last customer, we saw staff straitening up chars around tables that had just been vacated and not clean the table.. Staff chatting in groups with no masks, and serving food and drink with no masks.

We came here one time when all the chairs and tables were moved and loud music was on, it was great to have a boogie and let my hair down it had great music and felt nice after a long day at work

Had lunch here and as it was between 1-2 o'clock it was very busy so it took a while to get served. They do meal deals so with your meal you get a drink as well. The meal was served promptly and was tasty could have had few more chips..Is good for quick bite and a drink.Not sure if children welcome, didn't notice any families.

Me and two other members of my family visited this specific Wetherspoons at around 2pm on Tuesday afternoon. It was very busy but luckily there were seating both inside of the pub and outside - we eventually found a table which was quickly cleaned by a member of staff. As I used the Wetherspoons app I quickly ordered our food and drinks, to which the drinks came within minutes and the food arriving 10-15 minutes later. We paid around £15 for two steak and kidney pudding's with two sides as well as a plate of egg, ham and chips as well as a large Pepsi. The food was very fresh and delicious - the portion sizes were massive considering the inexpensive prices. The staff there were very friendly and polite, especially towards my grandmother as she had never been to a Wetherspoons before. I couldn't believe we got served so quick considering that it was packed and there were only a handful of staff members around. Ordering dessert was quick and easy, again through the Wetherspoons app. Within around 5 minutes it came and all of our plates were quickly removed. Staff never left dishes on empty tables once customers had left, they cleared them and then cleaned the table itself - ready for the next customer.

Myself and a group of friends decided to go there last week and never again. The venue itself is nice and the bar staff friendly and helpful especially a guy called Alex or Alec. However the bouncers were another story. They were rude and aggressive from the moment we walked in with one of them making some very uncalled for comments about one of my friends making her feel very uncomfortable. He kept watching us for the whole time we were in there and got very aggressive when my friend told him she wasn't interested. We stayed about an hour but after that had had enough. I wouldnt recommend this pub to any of my female friends until they change the bouncers.

It was a shambles!!! but the staff did really well always smiling and friendly even when they had loads of people at the bar they did rather good it was rammo as well the young man i think his name was Daniel was proper as well a michelle great worker and very nice on the eye x

Went in for lunch. No fish available which seems to be a constant at all the Wetherspoons we visited recently. Ordered an alternative. Told no coleslaw to go with the chicken ordered which was fine as its not the best. Paid. Then told the already ordered gammon was not available. Trek back to the table. Mixed Grill.....No go because of the gammon...sure they could have substituted it with something else. Asked what they did have and was told No fish, no gammon but everything else was ok. Trek back to the table, chicken and ribs ordered....No ribs......Trek back to the table steak ordered......No steak. Told steak day yesterday, food order doesn't come til tomorrow. Gave up and asked for a refund. Had to wait ages for someone to come and authorise the refund. Then had to wait even longer for the paper receipt to show I had been refunded which involved 4 people's input apparently. I know the other Wetherspoons the moon and stars was closed but honestly?........what a total shambolic way to run a place. Just post a list of what you have available. Yes we did get the drinks gratis but that was scant compensation for the total unprofessionalism shown here. On the plus side we went across the road to the Mangal Meze and had a lovely meal.

I went to eat with my mum and a friend after work, when we went to eat the avocado sauce they’re was a massive hair which my mum pulled out of it she told the staff and they went to ‘check’ staff member Daniel came back and told us that he had checked the cameras and that he knew one of us didn’t put the hair in as the camera could only see one. I was completely appalled. We came to have a nice lunch just to get accused for something so filthy. We’re all grown ups with a very stable income there’s absolutely no need for any of us to have done that. I then asked if the nachos were going to be taken of the menu and he said that’s a word he needs to have to management? So I said no problem may I speak to the manager myself. The member of staff refused to get the manager and continued to ignore us. After we were done we went to the front to see what was going to be done about it, no one ate the food obviously so I didn’t see why we would’ve had to pay for it. The memebwr of staff then started to get aggressive at me shouting ‘I wasn’t speaking to you I was speaking to her’ basically telling me to shut up which was absolutely horrific. I work in customer service, I serve customer and deal with complaints on a daily basis. Accusing someone of sabotaging the food is completely unprofessional and generally this memebwr of staff needs serious training. As I wasn’t getting across to him and really didn’t want to speak to someone else who I was was named Esme. She if ‘Daniel’ showed half the professionalism she did I wouldn’t be writing this complaint. She explained how they were busy and how he colleague can be a bit ‘Loud’ now, like I said, as I work within the customer service sector I experience busy times, I experience rude customers and never have I turned and spoken to a customer In a certain way. Overall this place is crap, service is crap and honestly food doesn’t make the cut.

Just got home and had a great night! Great music, great prices. Bouncers could be a bit friendlier. DJ even did an announcement for my friends birthday and played her request which made her night. Tip make sure you bring Id as my mate had to go home and get his.

One of 4 pubs all next to each other, and one of two Wetherspoons. The other Moon under the stars is much better, and cleaner. The World's Inn have friendly staff but the tables are always dirty and grimy.in need of a good clean, and dirty glassesverwhere. Old stains on chairs. I would never eat here

The bar staff was amazing but when it was closing time one of the bouncers was really rude telling myself and my friend to leave aka (f off because he wanted to go home) beside asking nicely, and I asked him to not be rude but continued to be rude to myself and my friend. I have never experienced this ever and the fact that the bouncers cannot be polite and civil makes me not want to come back again. I put in a complaint and the manager treated me as if I was a typical drunk besides listening to my complaint. Need to replace managers and rude bouncers!

One of the best Wetherspoons. I have had breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in this venue. Always clean, staff friendly and very helpful.Food arrives attractively plated and hot. Loads of beers and wines to choose from as well as every other drink available.Buy a coffee and get free refills.This pub is a credit to the Wethspoon chain.

My birthday was ruined at this place I visited here on Saturday 10th March and the lights were off place was very busy lovely party atmosphere then on the Saturday 17th I had told my friends about this place and I decide to invite them here for my birthday and it just turned out ruined as the lights were on and my friends did not feel like dancing, the atmosphere was not the same.

Why is it some staff in this hostelry have difficulty identifying customers at the bar and then serve someone else who just walked in. Waited at bar after for close to 10 minutes. In a busy bar you would think I was impatient. However, as the staff walk past you several times it becomes more frustrating. Mr Martin you need to have a review of this establishment from the shoddy toilets to the inadequate staff, who think it's a venue to partake in their own social life at the expense of customer service and I use the term customer service extremely loosely.

Lovely staff and lovely food. Today’s it’s 23rd December and in the pub there isn’t one Christmas decoration, not even a tree. The whole of this country is going PC and Health & Safety mad. Mr Tim Martin sort it out !!!

Visited Sunday 23rd December for breakfast.

On this occasion, eight people served before me, six of whom arrived after me. If your a regular in this Wetherspoons - which in Wetherspoons means every afternoon! - you heighten your chances.

We took my parents here to have breakfast before we went away for the weekend. We had to wait a while to be served but we had a good seat and the breakfast was lovely, it is great value and a good start to our weekend. The staff were friendly, the toilets were clean

We visit this restaurant regularly and are never disappointed. The food is always great with a good variety and the staff are always so helpful and willing to go the extra mile- especially Jay and Rachael. Fab customer service and a great place to eat.

Nice buzzy night time atmosphere. Good value for money. Usually have a few drinks deals going on too. A MUST go!

Do not go here for a night out!!! The bouncers are an absolute disgrace, they stand there thinking they are better than everyone else while perving over young girls out enjoying themselves. One in particular you can practically see dribbling as a female so much as walks past him! The others think they can abuse there power by causing trouble and throwing people out by their neck! They have no concept of people skills or how to help diffuse a situation!! People are supposed to be safe on a night out, not when we have these to rely on!

This pub is a great place to have a drink, either before you are going out or to stay there and eat. The drinks are such great value in here, it can get very busy and sometimes you have to wait a little while for a drink. This pub will never have the wow factor but it is what you expect from a Wetherspoon pub.

Just spent 20mins being ignored at bar in favour of rude aggressive elderly men who apparently don't have to queue at this bar. The staff ignore most people in favour of people who look like they don't need any more drink. It seems unless you are a rude cantankerous man you can't get served even after being acknowledged by bar staff because whoever shouts loudest gets served. And the toilets are disgusting. It seems unless you are a regular who spends all day here don't come.

Called in here as we was working in Romford, decided to have some food, we sat outside in the sun. Ordered some drinks at the bar and there is a woman in the doorway (near where they keep the cooked food waiting to be taken to tables) eating out of a big macdonalds bag, eating fries. Not very professional I thought. Anyway we ordered drinks and food. Food was nice. had some shared and a pizza. Was all tasty. You pay for what you get. It was looking a little tired inside the pub.

We eat and have a few pints in here on a regular basis. Always found the staff to be helpful and the place is usually clean and tidy.

Wait 20/30 minutes to be served bar staff look at us and walk to the other end of the bar to server customers that had just walked in and when confronted got very rude

I have now waited since the 12/08/18 to be contacted, regarding this incident photo attached. I was with my wife and another couple having belated birthday drinks and it started off as an amazing day. We had loads of fun, then hearing a pop turned towards the bar and was hit in the left eye by a cork. I recall the bar lady looking a bit embarresed but didnt come over to see if I was ok, I asked a passing waitress if I could see the manager and got laughed at, my eye at this stage was stinging and streaming. My friend told her its not a joke and the manageress was called who filled out the accident form and apologised. The bar lady shouldnt have removed the cork facing the patrons. My dissapoimtment was that wetherspoons havent called me. It seems that a patron getting hit in the eye by a cork isnt a problem. Very very dissapointed, I wonder if I had gone to the media if I would have been treated differently.

I came here on Saturday night and paid £3 entry went to the bar bought a drink with friends so I had to ask the question so I asked a man behind the bar why was I charged £3 entry to enter a wheterspoons pub- he replied it turns into a bar so I replied if that’s the case why are the lights still on it makes no sense that your charging £3 but are misleading people to pay thinking it’s a bar with lights that stay on. As I said this somehow security was called and i was rudely escorted outside without being able to speak to the manager. People are being charged expecting something but after paying you realise it’s not what it seems.

Always handy a Wetherspon 's close! But this one got the plus of the music so you can have a dance after your meal!!

One of our regular haunts. Great place, food good. But need more staff. Ordered our drinks using the app (on a Wednesday) but in the end we had to go and ask for them as they’re short staffed and couldn’t bring them to us

Not my first time in here. Decor is a bit brighter than its sister Wetherspoons two doors away. With the weather so good the pub had the main large panoramic windows open.

The bouncers are a disgrace leaving a woman to be attacked by 2 nutters for no reason and literally standing their watching. It took myself to step in and help. If you value your safety and health definitely go somewhere else

Came in here on the weekend , great fun and very cheap drinks . Staff seemed to be enjoying themselves.

On this visit I was very pleased with the service, all of the staff on were very bubbly and polite which made this a delightful family meal, food came out in good timing considering there was quite a few of us.

Popped in for a bite to eat and stayed 5hours. Watched World Cup, had lovely Terriaki Noodles and Fush n Chips with lovely fresh BnB, Lurpak mmmmmmm Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you despite how busy it is. Cheap booze and tbh cheap food, neither feel cheap and the chefs are a credit to the company, well done. D to be back

Arrived at the pub last Wednesday, usually go to the Moon & Stars for their selection of ales, however thought that I might see what this place had to offer, was really impressed with their range of ales, something for everyone tastes. I chose to go for a Truman’s, whereas my friend opted for a IPA however it had run out midpour, the lady manager that serviced me apologised and stated that she would get it sorted and changed straightaway, which I was ok with me, she asked me what table I was sitting at and that she’d bring it over for me, arrived 5 minutes later. Impressed with the quality of service, great pint too. Recommend going back for the service and quality of real ale.

Go regularly for lunch with family members. However for the last 2 Wednesdays have been disappointed with the behaviour of the female manager. She is very abrupt, never smiles, throws bottles into the the empties box causing great crashing sound making customers wonder what's going on and spoiling the atmosphere of the pub. The rest of the staff are really friendly and obliging and polite. We are thinking about changing pubs which is a shame as the food and drink are good value for money.

The clock is 5 minutes slow since about a year ago...not good when you're next to a major railway station and bus stops!

One particular bouncer wanted to show off to the other bouncers and try to play a big man by kicking me out for no reason, apparently I acted like an (AH) on a different occasion, that bouncer is not only a liar but a rude uneducated individual.

The security (bouncer), kicked me out for NOTHING, i have started an official complaint against this racist company...until the bouncer states exactly what reason warrants me being kicked out of a pub for doing absolutely nothing!

Every week we come out as a group of 8 to 14 girls. We used to go to Missoula but we thought we try worlds inn as Missoula is not the same anymore its more of a restaurant. So here we are we turn up at worlds inn and pay £3 entry which is fine but then as the night went on we realised the lights are still on and the music is not loud at all? We paid entry in believing that the music would be loud and lights would be off we thought worlds was an option but it feels too much like an ordinary pub so this week we will be off to Missoula but however the prices of the drinks were great if only they would turn the lights off and turn the volume up we would all like to return.

Let me caveat this review by saying I turned up at around 9pm on a Friday which is when the Worlds Inn had been turned into a club it was too early for the atmosphere to have built up. That said the interior isn't great and the drinks, although cheap, were served in plastic cups which isn't ideal. For those looking for a pub experience The Moon and the Stars a few doors down is a good choice instead.

Went in here just because the heavens opened outside. Ordered a Guinness and a wine for my friend. Sat down. A couple of sips in and I spit out a mouthful, because it felt like clear phlegm in my Mouth, just not from my own...

Visited here for a quick and easy dinner with my girlfriend. The service was excellent the guy behind the bar was very polite and helpful (seemed to be the manager but I’m not 100% sure). The food wasn’t bad, about standard for a ‘Spoons really....

It’s a spoons pub. You can’t expect amazing things from this. It’s a good atmosphere, the staff are lovely and the drinks and food are decent. Amazing prices and the service is brilliant. Doesn’t matter how many people are around the bar, you are never...

Went to meet some folks had a good meal and some really tasty ales.I just wish the loo`s were up stairs or somewhere away from the bar.as they can get rather stinky.I think some folks need re toilet training.It`s not the pubs fault.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Service was prompt & efficient & my chicken burger was ok but my partner said the Avocado's in her salad were 'grim', it appeared they may have been frozen?

We went into the pub before we travelled up to London, the beer is cheap and you can afford to have a nice drink wit having to spend a fortune. It was a little packed in there so you can sometimes wait to be served but it is worth the wait. You can sit outside and you can eat in here and the food is very good value. It's ok for a quick cheap drink before a night out. We also went there two weeks later for breakfast before travelling to London again, just such great value on there breakfast, fills you up all day until later so you don't have to stop to eat again.

We have visited worlds inn on a number of occasions and I must say the food has always been lovely and of good value, the staff are very friendly and very polite and very helpful always a good atmosphere and they are hard working always clearing the tables would definitely recommend a visit a big hello to frank Emma Sophie Emerson Lilly and everyone else

The treatment of my friend and myself by the security guards tonight was despicable! As my friend was sat drinking WATER, my last words were "let's drink this and leave". The next thing I see was my friend being manhandled and apprehended like a criminal, arms behind the back and escorted off the premises. I was shocked and didn't quite comprehend what was happening, questioned the security guards actions and was also manhandled and escorted off the premises and told "go f*** yourself" as the jumped up power hungry security guard looked over his shoulder. My friend and I then had to separately speak to police officers who agreed that our version of events corroborated and we were indeed sober and not causing a nuisance! I'm not too sure what annoyed me more - how an innocent situation was dealt with or that the security guard in question couldn't be dealt with in a manner that I saw fit due to his "licence/ badge" The fact that this review is being written straight after the event in question should empathise our frustrations

Busy Weatherspoons pub in South Street in Romford just along from the station. Small terrace at the front if you want to sit outside and watch the buses! As it is a Weatherspoons pub then is has a good selection of beers at low prices and it does food at reasonable prices too. Friendly staff.

The place is awful, the door supervisors are bullies and very rude. They prey on young people. Absolutely avoid at all costs. The management just pass the buck to the customers.

This wetherspoon pub je just down the road from Romford station.It has the standard wetherspoon food and drinks menu,which i find acceptable.

The only reason I go there is for pork scratchings and a ground floor toilet. On one occasion, there was a blackboard on the bar advertising the real ale available. Unfortunately they had sold out of all the guest ales. I asked why have a blackboard with sold out beer on it. No profanities and certainly not asking aggressively. I was berated by a barman for being rude.I don't do rude and feeling offended by the comment I put the money in my pocket and walked out.As for the ale, it is always warm and definitely not chilled. How it gets into the CAMRA Real Ale Guide is beyond me. My advice is to use it for the toilets.

Doorman said to the manager that my father swore at him which I can say hand on my heart he didn't and wouldn't let us in, blatant lying which has ruined our night.....WILL NEVER COME BACK

We visited Saturday 8th April, very very busy, but boy do they produce some lovely food. We were a group of 8, and selected something different from the menu, and all commented on the standard of food and service, and very reasonably priced.

Went in and regulars scattered around, There was a big breakfast menu outside, and told by the bar person to go and look for the breakfast menu on the tables. I hunted surrounded by Curry stuff and the main menu and drinks offers. When I went to the bar again, he came over with a breakfast sheet. I ordered a Traditional and had sat outside. The plate was cold, hence the food. Ate half of it and took the sausage home for my dog. This was not really enjoyable. There was a table next to me with left over breakfast that was sitting there for over fifteen minutes. When I went back in the afternoon, I was served by Sophie. She was so attentive and remembered customers that she had served and has a special skill of remembering orders.. She had a great repor, There was another young lady with a tiara, I did not get her name, and the manager on duty all worked together as a team. The afternoon team made up for the morning. and only gave a 5 for the people that did not care.

Love em or hate em, one thing you'll invariably get from a Wetherspoon's pub is value for money, and this place is no different. If you're paying £7 for a meal and a drink, don't expect Michel Roux junior to be cooking it! Some of the staff are friendly and chatty and others not so, but then everyone is entitled to a rubbish day once in a while. But the one thing I hate, even in a Wetherspoon's pub, is hypocrisy. If you're going to chastise customers from using profanity, then don't then let your staff be over-heard using similar language. It's not big, it's not clever and it certainly isn't funny. This place is a loud, drinking persons pub and as such, I've no problem with it. The variety of real ales is pretty cool too!

This pub would be good for a younger crowd, pub quite noisy and not particularly clean, staff seemed friendly, unfortunately not my type of pub, but that is a personal choice.

I meet a crowd of people here for breakfast. I have the traditional breakfast and a mug of tea for £3.80. The breakfast is brilliant. The bacon and sausage are very good, also the hash browns, a big plateful for less than £3. If you have coffee you can have free refills. The staff are always welcoming, cheerful and helpful.

We came to this pub after not being able to get into the Wetherspoons in Billericay. We had their special offer of steak, fried eggs and chips, it was great value and tasted good. The service was good. We also came here on the Saturday after for a drink before we went out, it was packed in there and we had to wait ages to get served, there was only one guy serving behind the bar and there were lots of people waiting, but i suppose this is how they keep their prices down.

went for Sunday breakfast , only thing that wasn't burnt was the plate (that was stone cold), coffee was served in a cracked cup, when I finally saw the "waitress" again, I ask for a different cup she looked at three cups before she found 1 without a crack, when I said about the food being burnt, she said its a new chef that's training?? needless to say we won't be going back

Have been here a couple of times on a Thursday and had the steak and chips which was excellent and a few weeks later on a Friday for fish and chips . The place was packed but did not have to wait to long for food. Will definitely be going back as the value is second to none. Well done.

After a disappointing experience in the 'Moon & Stars' the previous week decided to try their Wetherspoon's neighbour.Ordered two fish & chips (Friday fish & chip club - £4.59 or £5.59 depending whether you go for an alcoholic drink). Chap behind the counter was friendly & helpful (bought my drink to the table for me).Food took a little while to arrive (but then I am used to the speed of service in their Brentwood branch - 'The Dairyman' - where the service is supersonic!), a nice touch was that the plates were warm which meant the food was piping hot. Everything was very tasty & the piece of fish was generously sized with a good portion of chips.The young lady who served the food, brought the condiments & asked the obligatory 'is everything ok?' was a little apathetic but that aside everything else was fine & another advantage they had over the 'Moon & Stars' was that the toilets were downstairs!

I've been coming here for a couple of years with close friends and had good laughs in here even to the point where the bouncers had to ask to leave because we were drunk and never argue it but after last night I am disgusted in the staff especially the bouncers behaviour. There was a guy who was so drunk harassing me and my friend and shouting in our faces for no reason in the smoker area. When we told the bouncer he was like oh just them alone by using his name. Which leave the drunk guy in the building causing him to harassed us again after going back inside. The women's toilets were all blocked up leading women to use the disabled toilets which the bouncer open the door to these women with there boos out and sexy legs in heels but as soon as I used it he shouted in my face! I am very unhappy with worlds in last night I will be taking my money else where as the staff in here only allow their friends to stay bar even though they are falling over people... I have never been so disgusted on a night out!

Smaller that the Spoons up the street (Moon under water) and curry club Thursday.Quite how they do it I do not know but a chicken vindaloo,rice,popodoms and a garlic naan plus a pint of kronenburg all for £5.85 is genuinely remarkable value.OK so the curry was not even semi 'hot' but so what at that price.Bar service was way too slow as there was only one person working the whole bar.The other members of staff just stood at the far end looking on.Having ten people waiting is either poor bar management or a 'don't really care' attitude.Doubtless the customers would not have gone anywhere else so does it really matter ?

We went into the pub before we travelled up to London, the beer is cheap and you can afford to have a nice drink without having to spend a fortune. It was a little packed in there so you can sometimes wait to be served but it is worth the wait. You can sit outside and you can eat in here and the food is very good value.

Visited the world's Inn with a group of friends last night and I am absolutely appalled at the way we were treated by one of the doormen named Dan.After waiting in the queue for about 10 minutes one of my friends did not have id when we got to the front. I completely agree with the no I'd no entry policy for the safety of myself and others.However Dan was rude, arrogant and unreasonable. He told us to make a decision about leaving the one member of the group or going into the World's Inn. Obviously this is something that we needed to discuss so we stepped to the side of the queue.Dan the shouted at us all stating that we needed to make a decision (which is what we were trying to do). He also proceeded to swear at us, push us all out of the way and inform us that none of us were coming in at all now. This all happened within the space of about 20 seconds.Dan then used his walky talky to inform other bars in the area not to allow our group into any other bars in the area.After forcefully moving us to behind the gate and reporting us to other bars, he said that the area we were congregating in was a fire exit so we were now barred for the night because we had blocked it. A lady from the pub came over to discuss what was going on and spoke to Dan about what had happened however explained that if we said we were not coming in then that is what is to happen. I understand that if the doormen are not happy for you to come in then you should not be allowed entry. What I do not understand however is the reason that we were not allowed in in the first place.Nobody in the group was intoxicated, aggressive, threatening or rude. Your doorman Dan was three of these and for no apparent reason. Swearing at us, pushing us out of the way and not allowing us entry.It is absolutely appalling that your staff can turn people away for no good reason and do it in such a rude manner.Ruined our night but to be honest if the doormen are like that I wonder what staff are like inside.

First time in here and found food was good with plenty of choice.Atmosphere great with very helpful,friendly staff.Great time in this pub

The world's Inn has given itself a face lift and has been refurbished. I had an excellent breakfast and coffee in there for under 4.00 the other day. You pay 95p for filter coffee which you can then refll all morning while you read the papers. the refurbishment has made the place lighter and airier. Still great value for money and an easy place to stop and enjoy a meal.

Excellent pub! Love the new refurb and the staff are really friendly! Cheap drinks are a bonus. Really nice atmosphere aswell. Would recommend as somewhere to go with friends for lunch or for a night out.

Cool staff, always up for a laugh and made me feel welcome :) love the bartender Emma the most, so lovely!!! Would definitely go back for a casual drink. Looking good after their refurb too.

Had a quick pint here at the weekend due to being in Romford, outside area is decent when the weathers nice.Drinks are very cheap, not many places serve a pint for just over two quid.Service was good and quick and toilets were clean and tidy.Didn't eat here but food looked alright.Walked past after midnight the same day and the place was buzzing, looked very popular.

Great atmosphere, nice music Great food I love there onion rings , chips omgggg the chips stay hot for a really long time in between cocktails selfies and jokes they were still warm and ☆☆☆☆wings are just out of this world, no fat just pure meat just slide of the bone yummy ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

On a Friday/Saturday night this is the place to be. I love worlds inn purely because the drinks are so cheap and the atmosphere is cheerful. The door staff are strict with entry so it ensures that you don't get the wrong type of people enter the pub. For example people who think it's acceptable to come clubbing in tracksuit bottoms. The music properly could be changed from your typical Romford music playlist that I hear every time I go Romford, and what's played in every other club. However overall a good pub/bar.

Well I've only ever attended the 'Worlds Inn' for occasional birthday drinks for friends and it's a good place to go.Free entry before 10pm and I got Double Vodka & Coke for £4.10 !? Rather impressed with the staff as it was busy but I wasn't waiting long at all, good times!

The only place to go for a fantastic night out. The food whilst cheep is fantastic compared to some of the restraunts in the area. The staff are freindly, drinks are great value for money; the guest ales tasted great! highly recomended

We were here for a work colleague's leaving do arriving around 5.30pm the last of us leaving around midnight. The clientelle changes quite a lot over the course of an evening! Some people looked like they'd been there since breakfast. Drinks are very reasonably priced but do check,what you ask for and what you get given. They sell 2 different Pinot Grigio, one is £4 more than the other BUT if you order the cheaper Hardys PG (which is OK) do check that is what you get given. The PG label is exactly the same as the Chardonnay so check the name before you take the bottle. They were doing a deal on shots: 3 for £5 so everything got rather sticky after a while. After 9pm you will be moved off the hard floor area, the tables are pushed back, chairs are taken away and the floor is got ready for dancing - or more correctly standing up drinking. Also from 9pm your real glasses will be taken away and replaced with plastic ones and any wine in a bottle will be poured into a decanter which, in truth, looks more like something you see on the male ward of a hospital. Glasses from the bar were not very clean and sticky even early on in the evening. Later on you have to show valid ID and go through a security door swipe. You will be in company of people out to enjoy themselves with wafts of lovely aftershave (and some not) from the men and some gorgeous, other dimply fleshed, women squeezed into tight lycra; some even wore curlers.

I am a regular at World's Inn and although the food is pretty average the atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday is the best in Romford. It's a really mixed age group and a real mix of RnB, Dance, House, Hip Hop and Garage music I love it! It's always busy but never gets too packed that you can't move! It's also really easy to get served at the bar so you don't spend ages and ages queuing for drinks. It's also really good value for money or normal drinks, shots and cocktails which is always great! Would definitely recommend!!

What you expect from most Wetherspoons really. Always a lively atmosphere and the DJ normally plays decent old music to get everyone up and dancing! The prices are cheap and the bouncers usually friendly. Been going here for a while now and don't have many issues if any.

This was an enjoyable experience. The staff were very helpful, happy and enjoyed their jobs. The food came quite quickly, was fresh and good especially given the Weatherspoon keen prices.We had the fish & chips although I had a baked potato instead of the chips at no extra cost.Well worth a visit and it is near to the station & centre of town.

I've only recently started using this pub but have been pleasantly surprised. It's a bit scruffy but the young staff are invariably friendly to people of all ages, which isn't always the case in pubs. Excellent range of real ales and the food, although the standard Wetherspoon menu, is well above average.

Good spot for breakfast. Buy your coffee and after that its free refills. Good vegetarian and normal breakfast as well as eggs benedict, salmon and cream cheese bagel. The american style pancakes are good but they lack the amercian style side order of crispy bacon

I have been coming to romford for a long time and pop in random places, including the other weatherspoons moon and star. The world's Inn is another level in terms of quality and price. Ok it's not the best food you can get at a pub, but if thats what you want go spend £50 on pretentious food from a chef who thinks there gods gift. The world's Inn in consistent, honest, value/quality for money and has hard working/professional staff. The low prices amaze me for what you get and to top it all off the premium selection on craft ales and sprits is just what you need to make you standard pub trip special. ....Chicken love!

Always lively with the cream of Romford society, but friendly and welcoming unlike other adjacent establishments.

Okay so in Romford and fancy a quick drink or meal, plenty of choice and whilst i cannot say that i have tried all this place is definitely better than most.Typical Wetherspoons food and drinks -- so that's okay then but what does stand out are two things,The staff are always helpful and quick to serve and The smell -- this pub always seems to smell fresh and inviting.Toilets are always clean too - always a good sign!Very close to the Railway station.

I always use this pub before heading off to the game.My good friend Pip Bannister loves it in here,says the atmspher is just swell.I have to agree,we love it and the staff are so charming.Will return again and again.

Good choice of drinks, bar staff were quick, does get busy in the evenings turns into a mini club, music is good. Would prefer to go earlier in the evening for pre drinks. Never seen much trouble here as the door men handle things outside and quick. ID gets checked too - sorry teens. Always had a good night in here.
