Just stopped in late (10pm) after a party looking for a table for two. Staying in the hotel opposite it was an easy choice. Food was amazing, colourful and flavoursome, speedy service and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely give this a try!!

Ordered the chicken tikka masala balti when it came it didn't come how advertised which was really disappointing. I then called back and told them my thoughts on curry after arguing with the manager he stated that it came that way I told him to check he's website after he then saw how it was advertised he agreed to make me a new one which was much better. Both curries tasted different but are suppose to be the same thing only difference was one had green chillies in the other didn't. Also think the lamb chops was chewy and burnt The onion bhaji came oily as anything.

Been using this Indian for many many years for regular takeaways . Food turned up hard and rubbery wanted my money back . They were really awkward didn’t care at all . For the sake of £25 they have lost a good customer . Won’t be going back no more any time soon ! Plenty of better Indians down main road

Great Restaurant and food, but had it delivered last night, price was more than expected when we checked with them they said new prices but don't send new menu. Chips was really cold and was supposed to get a drink with one of my orders, that didn't arrive.

We’re Local to Gidea park and this is always our go to Indian. There’s 4 in the area and this is by far the best. Great guys and the food is consistently excellent

I’ve been to this Costa many times and it’s always been a nice place to take friends for coffee with very friendly staff (as are most costa’s). However, today me and my family took a quick drive down there to get some takeaway drinks having checked that they weren’t closing for another 20 minutes. Sadly after trying to order two iced caramel lattes, we were told by the barista that she can’t make any iced drinks as she’d already cleaned down the machines despite the shop not closing for another 15 minutes. In our experience, me and my family all agreed that a closing time is the time in which you can no longer buy what a shop sells, and it is AFTER that time when the shop is cleaned down. By ‘cleaning down’ the ice machine early they had limited their menu by practically half. Luckily a short trip to the Tesco’s down the road meant we were able to make our own iced latte’s which were delicious so if you’re ever in need of an iced drink within an hour of costa’s closing time, just head straight past it and down to Tesco.

Have been a couple times and all staff are very friendly with 5 star service with a great variety of non-veg and veg dishes. The decor and restaurant well kept and a nice ambience. Only point of improvement is their portions could be slightly bigger. Photo attached is their mixed grill

Wow wow wow... I've just had the best fish curry I've ever had! Big call as I love a fish curry... Whatever the origin. I had the tandoori goa fish curry and it was so tender and full of flavor... I cannot recommend it enough.

visited there this morning , store was busy the girl that was working was bad and did not great me and give me good customer service. the drink was mqade very poorly and i would advice no one to go here.

Used to go to the Razza years ago but I moved to Chelmsford. I was in the area visiting friends and thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did as the food was superb, just like I remember. I haven't found anywhere as nice in Chelmsford. The only reason I haven't given five stars is a strange incident happened which I've never witnessed before. It was interesting though! Definitely recommend the food.

Over the years we have had good food and good customer service until last night, a larger group of people booked like us no table for them the waiter told them to wait on the table next to us (small table so crowded & watching us eat) one man was standing by my chair, the manager found it very funny, he offered us a discount & a drink but didn’t. How uncomfortable and to happen twice. Wish I could find the owner as I feel this was unacceptable.

Food arrived 1 hour late, 2 hours after ordering and this is not the first time this has happened. The staff lie and keep telling you it's on the way. Clearly they can't offer a delivery service and run a restaurant at the same time. On top of this, the food was disappointing. Not using again or recommending to anyone.

ordered 2 curries and rice and found hair in ALL of them. returned everything to the restaurant and asked for a refund for our food since you know, that's disgusting, and were argued with by 3 employees who refused to grasp the seriousness of the issue and expected the replacement of one dish to be satisfactory remediation. upon asking to speak to the owner, he accused us of lying because 'times are tough during covid'. avoid not just because you're gonna end up with hair in your food but also because everyone who works there cannot grasp basic food hygiene or customer service.

We have been coming here for a few years and enjoy the variety of the dishes on offer , the sides are good value and the poppadoms and dips are a great start. Could do with a few more vegetables In curry's, and more coriander in my opinion but each dish has a unique flavour so thumbs up there.

I had tandoori king prawns & Lamb Shank, wife had King prawn purée and sea bass. Food was great and so was the service, I’d recommend this place.

The food is always delicious - always fresh and some of the best curries I’ve tasted. In normal times the restaurant is lovely to sit in and eat. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would never go anywhere else.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Took nearly 2 hours for our delivery and when we phoned to check, they kept telling us it was out for delivery and will be here in 5 mins. This went on for 35 mins and by the time it did arrive the food was stone cold. Will never order food from here and I recommend everyone to save your money for another deserving restaurant! Ridiculous service.

We stopped off for coffee and cake whilst walking our dog. First their QR code is not compatible with the track and trace app. The Barista was wearing a mask over his mouth only, thereby leaving his nose uncovered. He place the mask (with ungloved and unsanitised hands) over his nose to take our order. He then moved the mask to under his chin wiping his nose on the back of his hand whilst he made our coffees. He picked our coffee mugs up by placing his fingers inside the coffee mugs!!! I doubt we will be returning any time soon.

Delicious food!! Sooo yummy!! Took away one star because we were packed in like sardines, staff were either not wearing masks over had them round their chins, and one of the waiters dropped someones knife down her back and stained her white top. I think they were struggling with how busy it was for a Monday with this whole eat out to help out thing. But seriously... really yummy authentic food!

Really disappointing food. Tandoori King Prawns - Four medium-sized tasteless king prawns and some burnt tomato and onions. All thrown together for a whopping £13.95. Vegetable Madras - surprisingly nice compared to the rest of the food. Peshwari Naan - had absolutely no taste. I thought it was a plain naan. Garlic rice - dry and bland. Coke - warm and flat. Perfect in the hot weather. Swerve this place there is much better options in the area.

Booked online, drove miles to get there as was recommended by our friend. Told on arrival no tables available, asked if I had booked online and I said yes. Exact words “ sorry we haven’t even checked our online booking system and there’s no tables”. Absolutely liberty and shocking business!

Me and my wife have been here several times for a coffee and a piece of cake. Always nice, friendly staff and a nice place to just sit and chill.

Underrated restaurant been here a dozen times over the years ,always seems empty , dont be put off never had a bad meal ,and service is good wife loves it 👍

Had a lovely busy evening here at Razza. Its a shame they have let them self down on 2 issues. 1 the gents toilet is swimming in piss! The 2nd issue is I ordered South Indian chicken which says it is very hot but its not even as hot as a korma. No one has came over to our table to ask if all is OK. Apart from that a nice place if you are not bothered if your food is right and you don't mind standing in piss.

First impressions very good. Given appetizers quickly. Very busy think very popular with locals. Disappointed with time we waited for starter and main. Main Came up Luke warm. Response was not good It was replaced but partner had almost finished by time it came back. Very noisy so wouldn't recommend for date night couples. Food was ok but I wouldn't go again. Average prices but had better for less elsewhere.
