Clean and tidy. Sofa now gone so only a small selection of soft chairs to sit on.

A small Costa branch which is smelly inside and has seemingly inflated prices.

Lovely very friendly staff with excellent fast service.

This is a message to whoever thought putting a digital code lock on the toilet was a smart idea. Far too many people get locked inside and are left struggling to push the door open - including elderly people and children - who result in banging on the door in the hopes that someone will hear and call a member of staff to help. One girl was left in tears. Not acceptable! Apart from this, there are very helpful and kind staff.

I spent over £20.00 and this coffee shop today 19 sept in Romford. Was a lovely day but as always the bag lady was there hogging up chairs with her news paper bags and on the other side there was a group of people over 65 clearly finished their coffees and now sitting there with tap water having a quiz !! I’m a carer and I managed to get one chair but I had to stand the whole time while you let people sit outside for hrs with tap water Will not visit your shop ever again

**Review:** I recently visited this establishment, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy and understanding shown by the staff. As a pregnant woman, I urgently needed to use the restroom, and I politely explained my situation to the staff member. However, the lady at the counter was incredibly rude and dismissive, refusing to let me use the facilities. Her rough and unkind attitude was not only shocking but also absolutely unacceptable. It's ridiculous to deny a basic need, especially to someone in a vulnerable condition like pregnancy. This experience left me feeling upset and frustrated. I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue and provides better training to their staff on how to handle such situations with care and compassion. Can’t remember name but it’s starts Flor….

Just for coffee but very pleasant

Staff were rude and ignored customers only to server someone else even tho they just walked in. Claimed the fridge wasn’t working but still had food on stock. The electric storage area isn’t secure so anyone could access it.

Worst taste. Very arrogant behaviour from staff. They are not listening the feedback as well. Avoid this shop

1 it would be a 0 if i had the option and will never drink from there again!! Went there this morning at 6.10am to grab a coffee and a sausage roll, i sat outside to quickly eat before i headed off to work, it was pouring of rain and as i was sitting there and the staff members lifted the canopy up for me to get soaking wet, as i walked away to throw my rubbish in the bin, i then stood and watched them put the canopy back down !! I work in hospitality and would never treat my customers like that, i was polite to the 2 girls working there, and i will be contacting head office!

The staff is not welcoming , Also i was charged twice and they said no they charged me once i showed my transaction i spoke to my bank they also said i am charged twice i also showed costa staff but they didn't checked their systems and didn't help

nice enough Costa, tables needed cleaning and food on the floor throughout my visit other than that it was alright.

Smaller coffee shop but good atmosphere very conducive to conversation. Great service with great coffee.

Good service very busy biscuits weren't the best had the Christmas shortbread and the gingerbread biscuit otherwise it was very good thank you.

We popped in for a quick coffee & croissant. Served quickly by polite staff. Music was soft and Christmasy. Only minus was my croissant was dry, had to throw half away. On the whole a nice visit.

Why are they still charging 45pence extra for oat milk when it is the best environmental and ethical choice?

The staff here are awful and rude. I asked the lady in the counter to put the drink in a to go cup and her response was awful and embarrassing. Learn customer service skills and how to walk to people!

A elderly women was assortied in this shop at 11.20 Monday morning. By other women and your staff did nothing to protect her, the elderly women was traumatised, not one staff member check on her to see if she was OK and carried on serving customers. Shame one you !!!!

Bit chilly or cold at the back if you sit in the air flow from the a/c unit in the ceiling. Staff quite quick at clearing and cleaning tables.

Very welcoming, good quality drinks. Nice escape from chilly weather. Also, had enough seats which some others don't quite manage.

Went in to take advantage of a 2 drinks for £4 offer. Was bluntly told "Costa card down". I asked if I could try to get the offer by going through the email and the response was, "Okay, what do you want?" I said one drink and the barista literally turned to another customer and started handing her a plate and serviettes over the counter and sorting her order out. She then turned back to me, pointed at my phone and said "Your internet not working.". I replied, "I'm on your internet." Rude staff who grunt at you and offer no apology that their system is down, instead blaming you. A second member of staff responded to me in the same way with "You can't have your drinks." On another visit they closed 30 minutes early offering no explanation of why and shouting "We're closed." through the locked door. I made a complaint to Costa 6 days ago and as yet no resolution. Inside, the store is scruffy with boxes stacked up by the tables. My friend who was with me each time used to work for Whitbread and was absolutely gobsmacked. We will take our custom (we both buy a lot of drinks) elsewhere.

Love this store. Staff are amazing. Polite and Friendly. Always remember there regular customers. Clean and tidy store. An example to other stores.

The coffee is delicious. Their mac and cheese is worth every penny, and the staff are super friendly, I felt very welcome.

A very good place to eat and drink

When it came to receiving our drinks, mine and my mum’s drinks were the same however, one was requested to have soya milk. Both drinks felt different in weight, even though 2 medium drinks were purchase. I did not think too much about this at first, as I wasn’t sure if maybe the drink with soya milk was somewhat lighter because of its density, so I never thought to check before leaving. On arriving to the ice skating rink, which is only round the corner, I decided to check the drink just to see, to realise that the cup was half-full with whip cream that was near to non-existent, as it looked like it had been roughly mixed in to the rest of the drink. I’m not sure what had happened here but after paying for a medium drink and receiving a drink that looked to be less than a small, this wasn’t the greatest. Again, i’m not sure why this had happened but it seemed that one of the potential options was that the soya milk carton had came to an end, and the barista did not want to open a new one. Whether this was the case or it was something else, this is wrong for a paying customer. I do acknowledge that maybe I should have checked before leaving the store, so that it could have been queried in the moment.

Popped in for 2 "Character Roast" Americanoes with hot milk. Shocked when the bill jumped from £5.30 to £6.30 for the so-called "Character". Won't be making that mistake again this winter! SG

very busy at lunch when i visited but got drink and pannini in short time the pannini was nice and hot and flavourfull ,coffee very hot,only downside was a lot of boxes just left on a trolley in the seating area ,

Cold drinks on a hot day No one wearing a mask despite signage, but otherwise ok. Lovely frappe very flavoursome

Expensive for the hot chocolate, didn't have the fav flavours at Christmas time. The nut one was a bit sickly, should have sample so you can choose what new flavour to have.

Always pop in for a quick snack before/after work if there isn't a queue - quick service - however they could be a bit friendlier

Good little Costa situated in the middle of all shops. Near station and market. Good location. Good range of coffees, hot drinks, cold drinks and various snacks.

Normal service from a costa, with a good choice of food and cookies available but nothing outstanding. Disabled WC is currently broken

I often visit Romford to do some shopping! Was with my hubby yesterday afternoon so we decided to head to this particular costa coffee for a quick drink ! But after placing my order which was just a large latte with extra shot a cake & a juicy water I then sat down & realised how GRUBY the entire shop was really DIRTY looking & as for the toilet omg was the worst I'd seen really needs a good overhaul in decorating & cheerful colours !! Couldn't wait to leave to be honest holes in the chairs stock boxes stacked up in the seating area !! Really not nice !! Wouldn't go back unless I see an improvement!!

Called into the Costa Coffee, in South Street, Romford after a morning shopping. We found a seat at the back of the cafe, where it was lovely and warm. The food was lovely and the coffees were brilliant. We had toasties and a bacon roll. The drinks were a Flat White, a Gingerbread Latte and a Mocha Cortado. The Flat White was very artistic and the perfect Flat White. The Gingerbread Latte was presented with a Gingerbread Man biscuit, and was full of flavour. The Mocha Cortado is a particular favourite of mine. It is the perfect mixture of espresso and mocha chocolate. We also had a Gingerbread Muffin, which was very flavoursome. The service was fast and we didn`t have to wait long for our order. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this Costa Coffee, and we would definitely visit it again.

A decent mug of coffee, chai, hot chocolate, tea is always served with a smile here. I can't comment on the food as I've not eaten here. Staff are helpful, friendly & know what the regulars drink.

I'm always popping in and out of a Costa.i have no favourite one there all the same just different areas.great coffees love the mocha.there snacks ain't cheap but what do you expect?. I take me own snack at a fraction of the cost.enjoy.i always do.

Standard Costa. usual service with a smile, good coffee and average food. Still my favourite place to grab a coffee on the go or to sit and have a catch up with friends.

Here you can get a good coffee and a choice of gluten free bakes. Nice atmosphere. Good staff. Good service.

Its an average coffee place but really cramped- you cant get a buggy or wheel chair in and the toilets right in the middle of everything- there are better places to go in Romford now
