Nice but too cheesy there was no tomato base especially on the salami pizza it was like sickly cheese on toast

Maybe different chef this time ..pizza was pale and just cheese …hopefully just a one off

Pizza was nice. Unfortunately didn't receive the chips with it, and they didn't have 2 other items I ordered so refunded 1 and replaced another.

Food was OK. Smallest portion of chips I've ever seen. Also the boxes containing the pizza and chips weren't sealed so could have been opened at any point during delivery.

Smoked BBQ pizza comes with a pot of BBQ sauce instead of it being on the pizza. Sweet Chilli Chicken pizza comes with a pot of chilli sauce that isn’t even sweet chilli. Which has always been on the pizza. That’s the last time you will have any of my money. Was once a great service now very disappointing.

This is around the 4th time our pizza has not had sauce on and delivered with sauce pots that taste horrible!! If my pizza doesn’t come with sauce then I would like to cancel orders in the future as I’m not receiving what I ordered!!!!

Ordered a deep pizza but a paper thin crust came instead, pizza had no flavour and the chips were covered in little black bits and were obviously older chips that were cooked again, very very disappointed, pizza and the chips went in the bin

Pizza was OK. The spicy pizza I ordered which was supposed to have spicy chicken, had what can only be described as boiled chicken and there was no coriander as advertised.

My partner and I recently moved into the neighbourhood and we’re working on the house at the moment. Went in and ordered cause we’re hungry, but the food quality was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious, the workers were lovely as well. We will definitely be coming back!

There was hardly any cheese on it. The pizza was dry as if it was made yesterday. Chips tasted like they were cooked in fishy oil! There was hardly anything on the pizzas.. very disappointing and unsatisfactory!!

I was not impressed on two visits here. Nothing could be further from a Bistro than this canteen. It was not exciting at all and over a coffee and a cake we could hardly hear ourselves talk above mothers and children whose voices echoed around the place. The decor is badly thought out with no sense of the lovely country it is set within - take a book out of a national trust cafe and you may be able to improve. I won't be going back.

If you like your countryside walks and horses, this is for you. Free entry and now a lovely cafe and indoor events arena, look out for holiday activities.

Lovely place to visit would recommend for all who like horses, you get to stroke them, and groom for small fee. As it's free to get in you dont mind. My grandchildren loved it, lovely cafe to.

Would never order food from this take away again,l! Honestly, the food and service is so poor - the food was an hour and half last and was stone cold at arrival, called them back and the customer service was so poor as the guy had no manners and refused to help us. Ridiculous pizza sizes - their regular comes in a 9” box and the pizza being 6” itself!

Met by a lovely volunteer, who told us all about the charity with great enthusiasm, we went on one of the many different walks around the centre to see the huge variety of horses that are rescued and live there. We also enjoyed the play area and cafe and perused the second-hand tack shop, which had lots of bargains.

I visited today it’s my elderly Mum as I had eaten here a couple years ago and loved the food. As previously the car park is easy and assessable for anyone disabled. The whole place is clean and inviting and the lady behind the reception was so friendly and chatty. The cafe was empty so just Mum and I which surprised me but we chose what we wanted to order. Mum ordered a full English breakfast and I opted for Quiche Lorraine & salad. Mum asked for a piece of fried bread and we were advised that a piece of bread would be £1 extra ( steep I thought but went with it). Our food was out in a matter of minutes. Well the quiche Lorraine wasn’t as I know Quiche Lorraine, this was covered in melted cheese, no ham or bacon and looked really unappetising. Mums breakfast looked fine except the pre cooked wrinkled sausage and the fat filled mushroom and egg that was dripping in yellow oil. I ate a fair bit of the salad then took my plate over to a lady who I saw appear from the kitchen. I told her that I couldn’t eat the quiche and handed her the plate. She questioned why to which I said that it looked awful and very unappetising. She questioned in an abrupt manner how did I know when I hadn’t even tried it. This was the cook who was very abrupt, confrontational and never asked if I would like anything else just argued back. No check back, food that wasn’t up to standard, no offer of a replacement or refund and no people skills. Come back the previous chef I say. The lovely lady on reception was a joy I have to say and all very clean.

Meal was horrible. The meat on the pizza tasted as if it had gone off. Had to throw it away.

The size portion doesn’t match up to expectations

Never again ! Ordered the 2 large pizzas for £11.99 . The one pizza was burnt on the base and the other pizza didn’t have sauce on was told when pizza was delivered so didn’t get a call to say they didn’t have any or ask if I wanted something else . So in the end payed for a burnt pizza and a pizza with just veg on no sauce !! Waste of money !!

Waited an hour for food and it was only lukewarm on arrival - first time we have had this issue from this restaurant though.

Considering this is an actual pizza place the pizza was just average. For the price it was most definitely not worth it. Chicken wings were peri peri tasted more like plain they were again poor quality the chips were however nice with cheese on. I would never order again mainly the price point against quality being my main reason

I ordered deep pizzas and got thin ( very thin ) I’ve ordered a few times and always miss something from order then offer something free next but never happens !!

Pizza was horrible and tiny meat feast dont think so and what was on it tasted like it had gone of and for the bbq chicken wings no bbq sauce on them they was descusting tasted like egg for some strange reason and full of grees it all went in the bin best thing about it was the can of drink will never order grom hear ever again and if i was you i would avoid it as well 😷😷👎

The pizza was absolutely tiny chips where solid wings were disgusting never order from here again when we asked the delivery driver what was going on with the portion he said ‘it is what it is’ absolutely appalling. Bad food...bad service...ruined the day had to order another pizza from somewhere else paid twice the amount than the first place!!!! Fuming!

Travelled here for lunch due to reviews and online menu. Was extremely disappointed. Sign at entrance advertising bistro. On arriving cafe empty and all they had were packet sandwiches. This is definitely not a bistro. Was told chef had left but still they advertise bistro and bistro menu. In case you are in the same situation highly recommend Pitney farm cafe on the main road to langport. Absolutely amazing food and great people. A gem of Somerset.

Set in lovely country side. Friendly staff who were quick to explain and help with information. Took dog on paddock walk choice of three of various lengths. Cafe very good again friendly helpful staff. A nice way to spend a few hours.

A delightful place to visit. We were made very welcome in the visitor centre and provided with a brief explanation of the layout and facilities. We then set off to explore with our young granddaughter who enjoyed walking round the yard and paddocks to see the horses and ponies. The whole complex is well set out with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Everywhere is clean and tidy providing a lovely environment for the horses who are so obviously well cared for. There is a good adventure playground for young children and the cafe serves excellent quality and reasonably priced food with a children’s menu too. The small gift shop has sensibly priced items which is rare in most establishments these days. All in all an excellent visit and I’m sure we will return soon.

I absolutely love coming to Glenda Spooner, I have been here numerous times now with my children. You can take the kids in the play area and sit in peaceful surroundings whilst they play. Then take a walk around the spacious grounds and see the horses, which my daughter loves. Last time we visited we got to groom a horse and I have now adopted a horse for my daughter. We always visit the lovely cafe for a rest bite in between activities. Nice food and cakes and place to relax.

We have visited these premises a few times, normally only for coffee and cake and to wander round seeing the various horses currently there. This occasion however, we went along for Saturday lunch, and although not really identified as a restaurant, the food was amazing, good value and very filling. We will certainly be visiting again, thank you and well done.

Ordered from here once before, partner absolutely hated the meat feast pizza tonight he wont be ordering from here again. Although my 6 year old loved his pepperoni pizza! Came early and hot.

Decided to bite the bullet seen as many people put bad reviews on, so so glad I did. Pizza was absolutely gorgeous! best pizza we have ordered for years. (normally go to Mama pizza/premier pizza/dominos/pizza hut) toppings were lovely. Only down side, was the chips were soggy and the popcorn chicken was SUPER soft (i like mine to be crisp! but thats personal preference!) arrived hot, we had the monster deal which was so good for the money! pepperoni pizza and meat feast, cheesy chips, fries and popcorn chicken. will deffo reccomend and will deffo come back. this is our new fave! Thank you for cooking to perfection, was stunning. <3 be back soon!!
