Work Jolly in Brighton and Hove

Enjoyed our lunch here. The garlic pizza bread (gluten free) was delicious. The gf bruschetta was disappointing. It would have been nicer if they'd used gf ciabatta instead of plain gf bread as its not very nice in the first place. Enjoyed my pasta dish though. Would visit again

Nice ambient, friendly service, fast and the food was delicious. If you have the Wuntu app you can get a big discount for pizzas and main dishes. Totally recommended

Had starters of prawns in garlic and chilie butter, really tasty but only 4 prawns, also had brucetta which was not brucetta as I know it, was just bread with chopped tomatoes and lots and lots of rocket on top, bread NOT toasted and no pesto, very bland and over priced for tomatoes on bread. Our Pizza's were lovely and we had great service all night. Would go back for pizza but would give the starters a miss.

I ordered a meal for my family and my self and I have to say it’s one of the best take out delivery services I’ve had so far in Brighton the price is very reasonable for the big portions we had and the food was delicious and piping hot when it arrived as the delivery was early which was a bonus I would definitely recommend to all who haven’t tried this place as I honestly couldn’t complain

The worst customer service experience I have ever received. Jolly eats got my order wrong and when I called to inform them they said “nothing I can do” Will never use jolly eats again not because of the food by purely because of the “manager’s” basic customer service skills.

Ordered from here on deliveroo, order never arrived so called the restaurant & they said they can’t make it as there too busy (our order had meant to arrived by this point) said would be easier for him if we cancelled but we couldn’t as he’d accepted the order & through deliveroo you can’t cancel it unless they do it from their end. They said they can’t, therefore we now have to fight with deliveroo to even get our money back, paid £80 for no food. Wouldn’t even bother wasting your time with this place.

Order was wrong 3 times in a row. Gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered again. Called to ensure my order would be correct. I was told it would be. Order arrived wrong. Again. Called to complain whilst recording, they admitted fault and I was treated like a child. Reported to my bank as fraud. Getting this wrong order for free and never ordering again.

The best pizza in town. My delivery took 90 minutes, but it was worth waiting for this amazing food. The new owner was very helpful and friendly on the phone.

Not sure what is happening. Ordered from Jolly Eats many times in the past but since the new owner in, it has been a terrible customer service. For instance, just the last time I ordered online and the food never arrived. Tried to call, no answer. On another occasion, he answered and was very rude on the phone. Go and find something better. The previous owner isn't coming back and clearly the new owner doesn't have a clue about customer service or how to run a business. Shame he's doing this to what was such a successful business in the past.

They are not good people I have worked for them for two weeks but they didn't pay me I want to complain against them in the court the previous owner was good he paid on the time but now he is not helping me to take my money back

Food really good and the staff are so friendly and welcoming .

Burger was incredibly good. Way above the usual kebab/fast food takeaway I'm used to. More like what you might expect from a really good BBQ. Thick, juicy, perfect bit of char but not burnt at all. High quality meat and bun, plus friendly service from the new management who are clearly passionate about making something special for the locals. Give these guys a go.

Slow service and cheese wasn’t even melted on top

Good food, but when I asked them for a delivery they told me to call them back in 5 minutes. I did. They told me to call back in an hour, I walked down there and they made my food quite quickly after I asked them in store. Though the pizza is nice my sides are often cold and the staff are sometimes rude.

The food never arrived after waiting over 2 hours. I called the restaurant over 10 times and the phone line kept going to answer machine. What’s the point of accepting orders and having a phone line if you’re not going to be responsive? Hugely disappointed as this is a place I ordered from regularly. I won’t be ordering here again as I have found better alternatives with responsive owners.

So disappointed with Jolly Eats. We used to order from here regularly as the food was good quality. However, the standards started to slip quite some time ago. Food started to not come as requested, salads and sauces wrong etc, Then orders started to get delivered later and later. We really wanted to stick with them as we liked their food and we understand it’s not easy running a business at times. Unfortunately, it became too much when an order was so late we had call and say something. The attitude was so poor and rude which only disappointed us further. This came from not only the phone staff and the driver who lied but also the manager directly. This happened again a second time. Instead of writing a review we wrote to them a message because we preferred to give them a chance but they could careless and didn’t even respond. We didn’t want to leave negative reviews but we are just so disappointed that the service dropped so low.

Best place to eat veg and non veg.

I had a chicken burger from there and sime hot wings. Absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh, the salad was fresh as well. I went for a collection and everyone in the shop was super friendly. I highly recommend. 5*****

Order took an hour arrived stone cold. Unable to eat any of it got a £ 20 credit, placed 2nd order next day. No food after 2 hours was told my order was not taken correctly. Food come 1 hour after this Stone cold again. Single burger and not a double. Drinks and dips missing .absolute joke . Could not make it up

Some great golf holes a good test for any standard

The driver was so, so polite and lovely, no issues with service at all. It got here super quick too so thank you for that. The food though was unfortunately not so great, unsure if it was a one-off, but just quite bland and tasteless. It reminded us of a quick, simple frozen & reheated meal, so just wasn't something we'd jump to ordering again.

We live nearby. Love the speedy service for pick up, reasonable price. The shop looks nice and clean. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Will definitely continue order from them. 👍🏻

I am sorry to say that their delivery drivers treat the neighbourhood like a racetrack. By ordering from them, you are contributing to a less safe and less pleasant environment for all.

Had several meals from this jolly place always good value, delivered very quickly, hot, homemade and lovely drivers! Heartily recommend for one to a huge family dinner!

Ordered food nearly 2 hrs ago now on just eat, and still hasn't turned up no idea wjats going on as the food place has shut.

If I could leave a zero or minus stars I would. Order was nearly an hour late and turned up stone cold with part of the order missing. Called and apparently spoke to the manager and her attitude was disgusting, you do not call your customers darling and "what do you expect me to do about it" after a battle, a refund d was issued, Stay away, service is shocking!

Orders late and going by the other reviews god knows how much longer I’m going to have to wait. Women on the phone said everything it’s going to be 2 hours late. Hire more staff this isn’t fair on your customers clearly this is an issue that keeps happening.

Good, clean food. Excellent service, the woman even delivered the food to my van parked outside. (Isolated location but perfect for me).
