I was told they can't wash a wok to avoid food allergy risk. Singularly unimpressed. Shame allergies don't count under disability discrimination!

The food isn’t the best but what concerns me the most is all the children in the window eating noodles and curry , I am not one to complain but they are sat behind the counter and always are there nobody knows where the kids have been and I don’t want them touching my food they’re not the ones with food and hygiene so I don’t see why they should be near the food . I don’t like to complain but it just doesn’t boost my appetite . Many thanks a customer who won’t be returning

Had the chicken chow mein which was quite nice and fairly tasty but barely warm so was rather disappointed sadly.

The Wordsley Chinese is great for a take away, the food is good especially the curry’s and chow mains, also you can park directly behind the shop which is an added bonus.

Firstly, I am one of those people that say oh yeah I love a Chinese, but always order one thing - DIM SUM STARTER and occasionally YUK SUNG. I have had both from this take away numerous amounts of times and both are very nice, satisfying and well worth the money. However, I fancied a curry - SO did a brave thing and tried a roast duck curry - IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! Really nice rich thick sauce, duck cooked beautifully and soft. Meal came with rice or chips - I chose rice (you can have fried rice for an extra 20p) it was cooked beautifully. Infact, I now crave their curry's and have tried all of them. My favourite is the house special - which I have just ordered. CAN'T WAIT!!! My partner always orders chicken omlette which is cooked really well - nice and soft not rubbery. Would recommend to everyone. Price is a little more than you would normally pay for Chinese - however you get what you pay for! 再见

The Dim Sum combination starter doesn't come with any sauce and is not good value for money. Service on the phone was poor due to inexperienced staff- not the individuals fault however. Crispy duck, not very crisp and very fatty -again a small portion size. We will not be ordering from here again.

First visited here in December 2013. Great food and friendly service. Not too busy for early on New Years Eve. Three of us had a take-away and we all enjoyed it very much. Will certainly go back.

Takeaway Food awful this evening, ordered Yuk Sung 'edible but not good', chicken & veg, beef with cashew - both seem to be cooked in strong, horrible, thick sticky sauce that both tasted the same and egg fried rice, 90% went in bin and won't go there again. Not good since original owners left 👎.

Years ago, I used to work at a take away pizza and Italian place. Whenever we would get a new customer, the boss would make sure they got the best food (plus a few extras) and service they could possibly get from us. He'd want to wow them and hopefully they'd be pleased and come back. White Rose Chinese obviously doesn't have the same ethos. First thing I noticed, the set meal for 4 (£54)was a lot more expensive than actually buying a load of separate dishes... That isn't normal, right? So I ordered my 6 or 7 dishes (6 people) and waited for the delivery.. Which was prompt and pleasant. The food on the other hand... Now either they'd ran out of ingredients, we're skimping to the extreme, or perhaps both. Not a single beansprout, water chestnut, peppers, spring onions, baby corn... A few mangy bamboo shoots, slices of carrot and onions. Swimming in sauces with a bit of meat. Hey, at least they still charged me full price. Well done. The lack of vegetables, and in particular beansprouts, was at its most notible when we cut into our large spring roll.. Or cabbage roll, as the White Rose served us. Horrible! Tiny portion of chips, large noodles and fried rice were far from large (remember when dishes came with rice or chips as standard?) and the sesame prawn toast wasn't exactly generous with the prawns. I've had thicker marmite. Disappointing. Ah well, they must have loads of customers as they obviously don't want me to return.
