Woolton Farm - The Barn and Camping in Canterbury

We had a wonderful stay. We chose to camp at the ellens self pitch part. When arriving we were greated by 'Max' who couldnt have been more help! The pitching area was very clean and well kept with some nice fairly lights. After pitching we went to the barn to have a couple of ciders and pizza's which were very lovely! the stay was nice and quiet and a short walk from the showers. Throughout our stay the staff were very very helpful and went the extra mile. we felt welcomed and would definately come back. P.s - Thanks to max for his great customer service and knowledge of their ciders on the farm! Will definately book again next season! Chris and Heidi

I only visited to buy some takeaway cider but the service was excellent. The man behind the bar let us taste the craft ciders and explained the apples used for each of them. He was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We bought some to takeaway and will definitely order online from Kentish Pip. All the cider is made across from the bar.

Wine tasting with Howard was awesome - we also stayed in the bell tents - we aren’t usual campers but it was so good, really great set up including bathrooms, showers etc. the staff were lovely and really friendly and the food at the barn really convenient

Really good wine tour and tasting. Then grabbed a pizza and bought a few bottles to take away with us. Very friendly staff. What's not to like?

Great cider tour around the orchards and got to taste a good variety of Kentish Pip ciders. Howard was a great guide and definitely knows his stuff! Fabulous food afterwards at The Barn and all in the glorious kent countryside and sunshine! A perfect Sunday afternoon. Recommend to all!!!

Did a wine tasting, very enjoyable and the wine was excellent. Had food in the barn which was lovely. Staff were very friendly and you were made to feel very welcome.

Wedding Venue Review We got married here in August 2024 and could not have been happier with our venue choice. We are so grateful to George and all the Woolton farm team for going above and beyond in all the planning phases and of course on the big day itself. There is so much flexibility with the venue meaning you can really make the day however works best for you! We chose to have our whole day here, including our wedding ceremony. I believe we were one of the first couples to do this, but you wouldn’t have known with how smoothly everything ran. George even went so far as to tell the bridesmaids when to come out at specific timings as I wanted to walk down the aisle at a particular part of the song 😂 Our timings were perfected after our rehearsal the day before, during which George was on hand for any last minute questions. We really appreciated all the time we had for setting up as it would not have been possible on the day itself. We choose to use Tayberry for catering for our wedding breakfast who were also excellent and are located just across the car park and Maypole Marquees who are also handily located on site. George also had a great relationship with them and so was able to liaise directly with them during prep and on the day. For our evening food we got pizzas directly from Woolton and they received a lot of compliments! I got ready at the pretty prep studio, just around the corner, so you really do have everything you need close by. The barn itself and the grounds are beautiful and if you’re thinking of booking, I’d definitely recommend going to see it during one of their events, as it gives you a real sense of how fun the evening will be! We also loved the offering of the local cider and wine and purchased a few kegs as pour your own pint welcome drinks which went down well with everyone. On the day, George and the team handled everything without having to come to us which made us feel like we could relax after all the planning and just enjoy ourselves. There truly isn’t anything about the day we would change and we wish we could just relive it! Overall, the best parts about this venue in our opinion are the affordability, the opportunity for flexibility, the beautiful barn and grounds and the amazing team. Thanks for everything guys! We look forward to coming back in summer and reminiscing over a pizza and cider ❤️

We performed at Woolton Barn for a special joint birthday party in September 2024, it’s a great space for a party and plenty of room for a band! We hope to return again soon for another event!

It was our second time of attending the harvest beer and cider festival and we intend to go again next year, as it happens on my birthday. George the event manager went out of his way to make the whole weekend enjoyable and memorable for me, my family and friends

Amazing barn and glamping, a great destination

What a fantastic place. The cider is delicious, the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming, and the pizza is top drawer. I could have happily spent the whole day here, sitting in the sun and drinking High Diver (which is the crispest and most refreshing cider I’ve tasted). Go if you can.

Few drinks a light lunch, pizza was so good as was the cider and probably the best apple juice I've had! Also dog friendly so bonus

We visit Woolton Farm on a regular basis. It’s a stunning setting, and we find it so family friendly. Our two young children can run around, let off some steam without us worrying about them getting into trouble! We love it so much that we had our daughter’s christening party at Woolton Farm. The staff there are always super friendly and helpful. George and his team are so lovely with our children and make us so welcome every time we visit! Can’t recommend this spot (or the drinks!) enough!

Stopped in today and had some drinks and food. Friendly and pleasant staff. Will be popping in again when next in the area.

I like the place and idea about glamping in the few tents over the fruit garden. Today we saw the car show, The place is nice but to be honest about the car show I feel slightly disappointed.

Amazing camping and pub! Very friendly staff, delicious local cider and a beautiful location that is very well maintained. When I arrived I got a bit scared because the parking lot and neighbouring businesses are not very beautiful, but once you pass the gate, it's absolutely stunning. The price for the bell tents are a bit high for what you get, but not shocking at all.

What a place to be on a warm British summers evening! Fundamentally sound location with awesome cider, beer and prosecco plus great pizzas with loaded fries. To be honest you can't go wrong and the commitment of the staff is to be commended. Great evening and thanks to the staff and the drink makers 👍

Friendly staff. Lovely location. Bit pricey...paid around £13 for a pint of cider and 2 soft drinks.

Great venue, roo notch staff and good facilities...more toilets would be a brucke bonus.

Beautiful barn and garden with v good cider and good food. Local wine also available. Can’t really comment on the tents for overnight stay. Well worth a visit if in the area

Had an amazing day at the beer & cider festival. This gem of a place is in such a beautiful location & set amongst their own fruit garden. We have visited a few times & it never fails to dissapoint. The atmosphere is wonderful & it's so nice to be able to drink the wine & cider that they produce & grest that there is a shop so you can buy some to take home. Its a gorgeous place to chill out in the sunshine & relax & there is yummy pizzas if you get a bit peckish. The staff are extremely friendly & make you feel so welcome. Big shout out to Kenya who is a total ray of sunshine & goes above & beyond to talk to customers. We are lucky to be able to walk here but there are camping options available & bell tents if you fancy a getaway. We cannot recommend this place enough & we are certainly going to become regular customers. Keep doing what you are doing Woolton Farm as its amazing. Thank you for being part of our memory making.

Lovely place to stop off for refreshments on a country walk or to spend an evening with live music and a BBQ. Plenty of space to sit in gardens outside or in the large thatched barn. Glamping yurts in an orchard setting available for overnight stays.

I recommend the wine tour and their high diver cider!

Went to one of their events. Expensive and worst food ever. Undercooked pizza and rip off prices. Should have ordered deliveroo. Waited over 2hour for food and it was rubbish. Sign saying back in 30 min.. over an hour later still waiting for them to come back. Pictures uploaded.

What a beautiful place. Wonderful drinks and atmosphere

One of my favourite stop-offs whilst walking near Canterbury, Woolton Farm is excellent. The new garden kitchen serves an interesting menu of South African fast food. In addition, there is a lovely selection of Kentish Pip cider and local real ales. The garden is lovely and if you want a quintessentially English but novel experience, head out here for a relaxing afternoon. If you have walked from Canterbury and do not wish to walk back, you can take the option of the train from Bekesbourne.

Had a fantastic time at the Beer and Cider festival at Woolton Farm. Stayed over in my motorhome and sampled the many beers and ciders whilst enjoying a variety of good local bands. Really well organised and service was fantastic from all staff - special mention to "Kenya". Go and visit this place! It's a must stop off if you are touring around the South East in a campervan or motorhome.
