Woody’s Camden in Camden

Enjoyed the food. Really like the bread and chilli sauce. I asked for more bread but they didn't give it to me and said they will charge. Wasn't happy with that. Enjoyed. Enjoy the Turkish tea as complimentary. Last time I came they said complimentary tea is not given and they will charge. Why different treatment each time?

Hospitality is great. Open late, staff allow you to sit in, there are toilets available. Only £1 extra for cheesy chips. The staff really makes this place, super friendly and treats customers like customers.

Ordered a mix kebab. I was going to take it away, but I was encouraged by the staff to take a seat and eat in. Absolutely amazing kebab, with Turkish bread, condiments etc. Huge portion with vegetables and fries. Highly recommended.

Came here knowing Woody's to be pretty established. The one in Shepherds bush is ace. I was really let down with this one. It was busy. A good tell. But I asked for a Mini Meat and Chips. I couldn't have been sold it fast enough, which was fine but it was pretty cold. Warm at best. Tasty but I would expect better. Don't discount them, but now, for me, they are hit and miss rather than a dead cert.

Really good food that is always fresh and high quality. Service is always really nice and friendly whether you get takeout or dine in.

Ordered a lamb doner box but got the wrong salad, and the doner was on rice, which we didn’t ask for. Tried to explain to the cashier but no luck. The lamb smelled strong, but tasted okay with the spicy sauce. The charcoal kebabs look nice, and the interior is decent, but the service wasn't good and food were just average. I won't go again.

Whenever I’m in Camden Town, this place calls to me. Great food (I recommend the lamb ribs) and great customer service. The Turkish tea is pretty good too

Great Turkish food, flavor and excellent service. As a welcome they bring to your table: Olives, Hummus and Tazdziki with hot a delicius bread and a red oriental sauce.

Clean restaurant located close the Camden station. Service with waiters needs to be better as you have to flag them down. Food is 4/5.

The chicken wrap here was brilliant, very tasty and big! Would recommend. Emre who served us was very friendly and looked after us. Will return again when in Camden.

Gonna be honest food was alright chicken was nice and rice was the worst and the lights were broken the state of the toilets were absolutely hideous

I didn't like the taste and size of kebab. I would like to offer them to change the brand or supplier of kebabs, both chicken and lamb, they were not tasty. Kind regards.

It was recommended as the best kebab in Camden but it's the best kebab I've had in london. Fresh salad, good sauce and top quality meat.

Went here today Monday 12th and you have to pay £5 to eat in. We had 2 kebabs wrap with large chips (which weren’t that big) and burger with 2 bottles of water and 1 cola and it costed £30. We didn’t end up eating all the wraps. I didn’t eat the meat as it was a little pink so eaten the salad in the wrap and the other one was only ate half and didn’t finish it so took it away and ended up in the bin. The chips were good and the burger was good too

I absolutely love woody’s, I’m always in camden and it’s my go to place to eat, first time I actually had a sit down meal with friends, the food was wonderful as always but the friendly staff made it such a lovely time!!!

Middle Eastern dishes offer tasty and veg solutions without difficulty. At the end of the meal we were recommended the typical Turkish Baklava, in a not very large portion

We had lunch yesterday, after that we didn’t eat any thing. We felt tired and headache on my bed time my kids start vomiting my husband also me aw well, and today still headache and tired. I don’t know what to do to report this restaurant.

Zainab was amazing and she was very lovely. Fantastic service it was my second time and my friends 1st time so I’m super happy with all the food and drinks plus ambiance in the restaurant was great 👍🏼 will be coming back definitely worth the food

We ordered our food then they said we have to pay “a couple pound extra” to eat in, which is understandable for most of the restaurants. However, they tried to charge us for a drink which we did not even have. The total eat in fee was £8. They did not even believe that we didn’t have a drink. Such an awful experience in the middle of Camden. Service wasn’t good at all as well. We had to wait extra for chips - we asked for garlic sauce on the chips also but they just gave us a pot of sauce instead. Very disappointed as we hoped to just have a nice stress free meal, why is that such a difficult wish?

Mr. Emrah and Muhammet stood out with their hospitality. Lamb and chicken doner is a complete dinner with plenty of ingredients.

Excellent, but the quantities are flawed

Filthy! Grease encased cutlery and table wear. Revolting food. Also just learned that place was given lowest possible hygiene rating in recent inspection. Avoid or possibly end up with food poisoning.

As much as the much as the place was nice as a takeaway and the service polite I mentioned multiple times my allergy to cucumber. It’s an intense allergy not requiring immediate epipen but steroids due to a skin. Issue. I mentioned multiple times and it hurts me to think I can depend on allergy certification/assertion directly from the server but it’s clear during service cucumber was dropped into the service counter. As an allergen person I know I am immediately a difficult customer but as I was promised there was no contamination I felt safe buying a wrap. It took two bites for me to feel the effect. I’m already embarrassed by my food intolerance so the effect to spread to lips and chin is embarrassing. I’m not reviewing for a negative impact other than please (please!) be honest with contamination as my position whilst not life threatening but does cause a skin reaction in the form of a facial rash that does impact my skin and mental health as it recovers. I will say my friend thoroughly enjoyed their wrap

Good place this. As soon as I sat down I was given complementary olives, hummus, bread and dips. The bread was sensational - really crispy and fresh. The prices are not particularly cheap, £16-£17 for a kebab but you get rice/chips and salad with it and then when you take into account the complementary dips at the start, it’s actually pretty good value - the whole thing makes for a massive dinner! Service is fast and friendly. The kebab I had was good, not exceptional but hit the spot - I’ve had better but I’ve had far worse. All in all this is a really good place to grab a quick meal before a gig or a night out in Camden.

I went there with my friends we ordered mixed kebap for 2 people . The services was okay . But the rice did not cocked well , and the kepbap portion for 2 people is not enough they putted in the plate 2 pieces of chicken 2 pieces of meat and some izgara meat but looks very poor !!! And the other messez they serviced with tiny plate !!!

I am a regular customer more than 5 years coz I am working in camden, and today I went to woody with my friend today after here refurbished 1st time, food price going up a lot , but meat is less, salad also less, and rice less too, terrible experience !!! the salad also taste not fresh at all! This just kick the regular customers away!!!

Wow, wasn’t expecting good food as it’s right in the middle of all the Camden Road food places but at midnight we had dinner and it was so delicious! All of this for £35! Staff were super friendly and it’s cosy inside as well. Definitely will be back! 🤗

I haven't been here for a long time, the place is clean as always, the staff is attentive, the quality of the food is still as good as before, I congratulate you. It is difficult to maintain the same taste for many years, I recommend it to everyone.

We went to Woody's for a late dinner and it did not disappoint. Great portion sizes, delicious food, quick service, good value for money. We also appreciated the complimentary fresh pita, hummus and tzatziki before they brought out our wraps!

I previously went here and left a 5 star review, but this time I went with friends and we got the platter for 4 people which cost about £60. We were very disappointed. £60 at a kebab place, you expect you're going to get a good amount of food, right? Well that didn't happen. We were left unsatisfied. See the picture attached for what you get for £60.

Good solid food, worth the stop. The atmosphere was nice and unique for the area and the service was prompt. Someone was always around but they didn't hover over us.
