We have been coming here for a while but tonight the meal was just lovely - the fish was fresh and beautifully cooked and the chips were crisp. Our experience was made so much better by the attentive and excellent service by Annie. A fantastic experience and would highly recommend!!

Enjoyed a medium Fish and chips which was a generous portion. Very tasty mushy peas and served by Ty who was brilliant. The staff were all great and attentive.

Its always a welcome relief as someone on a Gluten free diet to go to this restaurant for a sit down meal, the staff are friendly and polite and welcoming and helpful. the menu is standard. drinks are always quickly served and food order taken with a smile. No matter how big or small your group are they can always fit you in with a smile and with the venue being wheelchair friendly that is Not an issue either. The fish is always cooked perfect and batter is delightful this is by far the best place to go for a meal.

1st class service and food - our server Annie was so professional, polite attentive and ensured we had a great experience from beginning to end. Probably the best Haddock I've eaten during my time here in the UK. Come here! Try it for yourself!!

We've been a few times with my elderly Dad. He throughly enjoys his visits and is always made a fuss of, especially by Annie who used to work at another place we used to go to. Its so nice to see him enjoy his food and he always manages to clean his plate which is good as even the "small" servings are usually to much for my daughter and myself. Well worth the visit.

In July i used the takeaway and two out of three visits i waa extremely disappointed. The medium haddock had a sour/strong taste and un edible.

He had a family meal here for my daughters 8th birthday (her favourite place to go) she absolutely loved it and it was great, the staff are amazing and always friendly, the food is amazing too but the pudding is just sooooo good!! Highly recommend the chocolate brownie 😋 we had two lovely staff members who where Elicia and Suzy, thank you for making my daughters birthday!

We love coming to Papas in Willerby. The food is always consistent and tastes brilliant. Usually when we visit, Annie is on shift and she’s a lovely server. Always greets us with a smile and makes the place a whole lot happier. Thank you Annie!

YES YES !!!! , Service and food beverages are incredible here I wanted to do a mention for a lovely young lady Alex we visit often and we’ve been served a lot by Alex , She’s got the best customer service charm and is the best server at papas. We have been served by others but Alex always provides us the best service and is rushed off her feet most times but it never affects our service.

Ordered the ‘Big Papa’ haddock which did not disappoint in size! Batter was lovely and came with great chunky chips. Annie was a great waitress and we were looked after brilliantly. I would highly recommend!

3 of us visited on Good Friday. I phoned last minute never expecting to get a table but they were friendly and accommodating. They were busy when we arrived but our table was ready. The food didn't take too long to arrive and it was hot and well cooked. They seemed to have plenty of staff which was good and as usual Annie was great.

So, me and my partner are regular visitors to this restaurant and todays service started off brilliantly quickly sat and the waitress fetched us our drinks, the waitress then took our food order; Sausage chips and gravy for myself and slow cooked beef rib, mash and peas for my partner Or did she? We waited and waited for said meal meanwhile it was always “2 minutes, we’re sorry” well two minutes passed unfortunately the food isn’t in front of us next woman came along and said we’re the next out, which we was unfortunately it’s for a different table. At this point my partner went and got the manager who then waffled we’re next with no apology or a gesture to look over the situation unfortunately I’ve told them I no longer want it we’ve been sat for 45 minutes so we left and drove over to the KFC who sort our order out within 4-5 minutes unlike PAPAS

This restaurant is a great option for lunch, everything was perfect, great food,good service and i overall had a really great time.

I had a medium fish and chips with mushy peas. First of all the fish was a perfect shade of golden crust, Perfectly hot and tasty. Mushy peas was the best mushy I've tasted. I know it sounds exaggerating but you man have to try it! You will be always served with more than you expect 👍 There was a manager named Maria. She greeted every table in the restaurant including us which made us feel exceptionally welcomed and important. She was bubbly yet incredibly professional by the way she spoke to us. We have gone for years and normally good. Quite a few issues today though. Pattie was cold, chips tasted reheated and sausage tasted cheap. Fish was excellent and peas good. Service slow when you have finished normally and waitresses like to talk amongst themselves (happened in the past). Normally a good 8 or 9 out of 10 but not today.
