Just the best here!!!! Visited several time since first finding it in February this year, travelling by train from Ilford. Absolutely worth the journey. Its like an oasis in a desert. All the staff are so luvvvvvverly, and really can't do enough for you. The menu is so original, the food is really good, with a constantly changing "daily specials" choice, and their home made really cakes are amazing. Who needs fancy London venues, prices and crazy crowds. Well done to all at Woody's and yes, we'll be back. Michael G.

I go here quite a lot when I'm working. The atmosphere is so friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. I always have smashed avocado on toast with paoched eggs and a milkshake, the milkshake is so nice, I always end up having two. It's how cafes used to be and I know I had one 8 years despite some competition writing fake reviews and despite a man against me who said I'd be out within the year, I was there 8 and left when I decided I was too old to run up 3 flights of stairs all day. This lady that owns this place Woodys has got it very, very right. Its hard work too in Covid, I don't envy her and a whopping recession too. I thought I had it bad with a few long snowy winters! So go give her your trade. I haven't had a thing on the menu I didn't like and I have worked my way round it before settling on my choice. When you watch them cook you see why they have a 5 food hygiene. The place is spotless so is the loo! I'd give them 10/10 so would you!

We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon for quick drink and cake. The staff were great. We sat outside, and tea and chocolate cake were brought to us. The slice of cake was huge and very tasty. I would definitely recommend

Wonderful quality home cooked food with polite and quick service. I recommend the large all day breakfast with phallic overtones.

Asked for a coffee. Was given a beige coloured liquid in a cup. Honestly could not tell if it was tea, coffee or just hot water with milk. Awful ! Gave this place a go rather than give my money to Costa. I left and went to Costa for a coffee that tastes of coffee.

Lovely little cafe with good quality food for reasonable prices. Family friendly and staff are welcoming. Always enjoy coming here for a breakfast. Could have more high chairs as when we arrived with a baby we could not put him in a high chair as they only have one which was being used. Nonetheless a family friendly cafe with yummy food

My husband & I stumbled upon this cafe in early 2018 and it exceeded all our expectations, now we eat here up to 3 times a week! The toasted BLT is fresh, tasty & fantastic, and the breakfasts are tasty and not at all greasy. And the staff are so friendly & warm you feel like you could be at a family members house... Highly recommend this lovely little cafe, we only wish it was open on sundays too!

Came to visit daughter on placement from uni. Wasn’t busy but was told food be about 30 mins was over a hour till we got it. Husband had a lasagne and daughter and I had ultimate sharer, which was only 2 of each different selection?? Wouldn’t class as ultimate as needed at least 4 of each thing to feed 2 people. Husband said lasagne could had been bigger portion as well. Food was nice though but bigger portions would be great. Staff were all friendly can’t fault them. Would visit again if bigger portions.

I am horrifies to say that following buying an expensive over priced bacon sandwich the bread was green and mouldy when I got back to the office to eat it. I will not be returning and recommend others to steer well clear. The wait time for a simply sandwich is extortionate even when the cafe is quiet you can easily wait at least half an hour if not 40 mins for a sandwich. The mouldy bread was the final straw. How they can increase prices so drastically and provide food that is out of date is beyond me and a heath hazard. Be safe

I had the perfect eat out Sunday Roast Lamb dinner, that was as good as any home cooked roast that you could have.. and I wasn't even that hungry! I'm a good cook myself and if like me you love a roast... this roast lamb dinner I had at The Robin was delicious! It was served on a good sized plate (so good value) and my dinner had a lovely selection of fresh/perfectly cooked veg. The lamb was tender and tasty, the roasts pots were fluffy/crunchy, the gravy was tasty (my mouth is watering thinking about it again lol). Even with a busy bar/restaurant on a football afternoon (unfortunately it was Arsenal when we were there! lol).... it was all served nice'n'hot and even the mint sauce was top notch too, along with the staff who were friendly. (especially the female chef who cooked my delicious roast and smiley barmaid who served our drinks and waited our table). I also had a sticky toffee pud with custard and that was yummy too! 100% recommend... thanks again to the chef for my perfect eat out with home cooked vibe, Sunday roast!
