They so fake went to there I asked for takeaway , I have asked for each one lamb sheesh and one chicken sheesh , then they give me two pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of lambs so I had asked for refund and never had the food . ALWAYS count the meat and chicken sheesh kebab before eating.

Disappointing Experience - Unprofessional Service We've been regulars at Woody Grill in Camden Town and have previously enjoyed the food and service. However, our recent visit was marred by an incredibly unprofessional encounter with a waitress. When we politely inquired about a special request for fresh kebabs, something we've requested in the past without issue, her response was shockingly offensive, stating, "You don't teach us our job here." We calmly explained our usual practice of making this request and emphasized that we meant no disrespect. Regrettably, this unpleasant interaction led us to leave. Seeking to address this issue with the management, we asked the staff for a way to formally lodge a complaint. Surprisingly, we were informed that there's no website or email available for such feedback. Instead, a gentleman offered to provide another waitress for our service. I sincerely hope this review reaches the attention of the owner. It's vital for the management to be aware of these incidents caused by new staff, which could detrimentally impact the reputation of this establishment. As regular customers, it's concerning to witness a decline in service quality. I hope the owner takes steps to rectify such issues and preserve the reputation of this place.

Went for dinner there as have been once before a few years ago. Went there and the Lamb with rice and salad. The Lamb was narly grizzly and very very greasy. Won't be going back when we next visit Camden.

Lovely food, excellent service. We stopped by late to pick up a wrap or kebab to go and we’re encouraged to stay as what my partner wanted (Iskander Kebab) was not recommended for a take home - we’re so glad we stayed! It was a fantastic evening, followed by some great late night food. What made it more interesting was a very strange chap called Terry, he was a lanky ginger and kept asking if we wanted to go back to his to play call of duty. Which I found a little strange (we politely declined). The food though was very good, I would recommend a lamb dish and if anyone sees this bloke Terry we send our regards.

I bought a lamb doner wrap last night. To be honest , the taste was good however the staff was very rude. When I asked one off the staff to chop pickled peppers into small pieces, he replied saying " This is England and this is how we do it" I am sure the owners wouldn't appreciate this staff's behaviour. Will never go again.

FAIROUZ head waitress made us all feel extremely welcome....she was so accommodating towards our son who suffers with autism, his needs as his diet is pretty poor. However, she reccomended a beef burger and we couldn't believe how he ate it all! We were amazed by her her great service and she thought outside the box! Absolutely fabulous she was and she made us feel very special. Highly reccomend this fab delicious place to anyone....this turkish food was epic! Thank you Fairouz you and the staff were exceptional! This is a good place to stop late at night. For vegans it has falafel and it’s good value for money. The service is quick and easy so you don’t need to hang around. I would rate the chilli sauce as 4/5.

Woody grill is a Camden tradition, amazing food, the chicken wraps and kebabs are amazing as they have been for the last 8 years!

Pedí una envoltura de halloumi con pan turco, porque la que había tomado anteriormente era muy delgada y casi no tenía ensalada. Me dijeron que esto era imposible, pero después de rogar me dieron lo que resultó ser medio pan, crudo, con halloumi frío y completamente crudo, para 6. No hay mayonesa de ajo o salsa de chile a pesar de haberlo pedido. Muy pobre. 1. 5 * s redondeado hacia abajo.

Comimos aquí anoche y disfrutamos de una gran comida de estofado de cordero y verduras, pan de pita y arroz. También tenía un refrescante vaso de ayran y todo por menos de 10. Absolutamente delicioso. Qué diferencia con los aburridos menús de pub en Surrey, donde la salchicha y el puré pueden costar 14 y lo más emocionante del menú es a menudo una lasaña sin brillo. Nos dieron un pequeño dulce gratuito y nos ofrecieron chi también.

We were visiting from Scotland, a family wedding, while there we went sight seeing, one place we went was Camden Market, we happened On Woody Grill by chance and what a treat! Service was great, food was superb!! Wood definitely recommend!

We come to this restaurant at least once a month. Very good and quick service, nothing expensive for the portions you get. Very recommended if you are hungry and don’t want to spend a lot around Camden Town.

On Saturday 3 of us went to the Turkish restaurant after a long workout . The service was nice the lady who served us was fantastic . Delicious and healthy food. We had a great time the meal was cheap large and we paid only £ 40 three of us warm pitta bread with different sauces drinks and the main course.i will definitely coming back.

I am a 61 year old female and was mega hungry and though seated by a waitress of about 40 years old, the other waitresses looked about in their 20's and I felt coerced into ordering 'something' so I ordered tea but being so thrown by her almost predjudiced attitude and v hungry I couldn't work out yet what I wanted, I had only just sat down! She was extremely rude, aggressive and bullying innretrospect and as she concentrated her hatred on me so much that two other customers that she sat down, after 5 or so minuets of not being asked if they'd like a drink and a menu, I could see they were very annoyed as one lady wasxshaking her head as they got up again and left. I was trying to relax a bit while feeling extremely unerved by her hostility and presumptions that I wasn't there to eat, she sent one of the young waitresses to ultimately kick me out! I may be stupid for paying for the really disgusting tea that had been made so badly and left and found somewhere so very much better, civil, inviting and kind, without any pressure from the other establishment and I might add a perfect cupvof tea, I was relaxed enough to order what I fancied because while simply I wasn't being harrassingit and bullied! I look forward to the fact that in 21 years she will be my age and will at some point experience the same ageism and predjudiced, my only regret being that I may not have a front row seat! Shame on you!

Popped in for a late lunch and was extremely pleased! A spotless dining area and counter with very friendly and welcoming staff. Lamb doner in a box without bread (it was offered to me) with all of the trimmings was superb. Great value, fresh salad, perfectly cooked lamb with a compliment of two sauces. This was really good and of a high quality. Highly recommended.

On a busy,cold Friday night we visited Woody grill to give the take out service a try. Having tried the dine in option a few years ago and really enjoying the food We were keen to re try .

I went into Woody Grill as it was the first kebab shop I saw off the bus and I was starving so I didn't expect much more than your standard kebab shop. It was around 1am maybe a bit before on a quiet Monday night. We went in and my friends ordered first, I chose the lamb kofte wrap while they had cheesey chips and a falafel wrap. Mine took a lot longer but it was so worth the wait. The lamb was so filling and tasty and the wrap was tight and full which doesn't always happen. They didn't mind when I wanted more sauce in it, which I later regretted as it went all over my coat, but honestly the best kebab wrap I have ever had and for 7.50 that's what you would want so it's worth the extra pennies. Good service too.

Estaba ocupado pero no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para una mesa. Conseguimos pan caliente gratis y salsas. Las salsas eran increíbles, especialmente la de tomate / chile. Me dieron un pollo shish y fue increíble, no grasiento. La camarera era tan encantadora que incluso me dio una tina entera para llevar. No vivo cerca de comprar definitivamente voy a visitar de nuevo. Gran valor también!

Paré en la salida de Londres, me alegro de haberlo hecho. 2 envolturas, papas fritas y pop y estábamos bien alimentados y más que contentos de haber parado aquí. Nuestra comida no estaba asfixiada en salsa como en algunos lugares, lo que significaba que probamos la deliciosa carne, la ensalada fresca y los excelentes envoltorios.

Welcome to Woody Grill, good kebabs for a price and everything you may want to eat. I ate a lamb kofte wrap, hummus, chips & a 7up for pretty much 12£ and everything was absolutely good. They also gave us baklava, bread and various lovely dips. The staff was great, good service and really kind waitress that made us feel at home. I am gonna come back soon and often. This place will surely make you fattier and happier.

Nice looking place and friendly staff. However, three of us were sat on a table for two and was very cramped. My chair was constantly being bashed about by other customers and staff trying to get passed, which really did put me off my food and having a good experience. All plates and various dips barley fit on the table! At the end of my meal staff began to rearrange the tables to make more space. Unfortunately, this was too little to late! Mixed sharwama was ok. Would not return

Pedí el pollo doner que venía con arroz, una ensalada con un aderezo sabroso casa y pan. Este fue servido con una variedad de salsas y aceitunas. Mi hijo y mi marido tenía el cordero. Todo era delicioso y lleno de sabor. Buen servicio, nos sirvieron té y dulces jellied complementarios turcos después de la comida. Sin duda recomiendo la comida aquí!

Ive been to both Woody Grills in Camden and both are equally excellent. As soon as you sit down you are brought freshly made Turkish bread and olives, houmous and dips. They top the bread up when you run out. The salad is fresh and delicious, all beautifully presented on a large oval plate. Chips are fresh and cooked to perfection.

Sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla cucina di questo ristorante che abbiamo trovato per puro caso. Abbiamo preso il pollo a cubetti il quale era servito in un piatto unico con riso, cetrioli, pomodoro, cipolla, rapa rossa e insalata. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo buonissimo e porzioni abbondanti. Nell'attesa ci hanno offerto varie ciotoline di salse tra cui l'hummus e una focaccia calda molto buona. In più la cameriera parlava italiano quindi non potevamo chiedere di meglio.

Food was ok. Nothing special but ok. The meal seemed very rushed and it felt like we were having our plates snatched before we had even time to put our knives and forks down. Bill was rushed onto the table without even being asked if we wanted another drink or desert. All in we were in there for just over half an our at the cost of almost seventy quid for a bit of meat, rice and a soft drink. Have had so much better. Certainly have had better service. Felt like they just wanted to take the money and get you out. Don’t think I will return. There was only four of us so not cheap

Went to Woody’s today. Place was very busy but waitress seemed very disinterested and basically plonked the starters in front of us without greeting or acknowledgment. But despite that, both the lamb and the chicken were fresh and tasty and there was plenty of rice and salad. Definitely didn’t leave hungry and price was very reasonable.

We went here in a day out, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, we were given pitta breads and dips to start will we decided on our food,when it came it was lovely, we would highly recommend this place and next time we are in the area we will definately be back.

Everytime we go to Cecil Sharp House, the Green Note or the Jazz Cafe, Woodys is our first stop. I have only ever ordered their chicken sharwama wrap but I can vouch its deliciousness. You get lots of well grilled chicken and on top I always go for lots of lemon juice, a little shredded lettice, red cabbage and tomato and a light drizzle of garlic yoghurt and chilli sauce. It just about takes the walk to Cecil Sharp to eat it. Camden does have plenty of places to eat but the take aways are fairly dire - except Woodys. Highly recommend!

We came in to have a quick bite and didn't expect much from a fast food serving place, but it was really really lovely. Service was quick and polite. We received starters on the house before main dishes. Stew of the day was superb. Tasted like home made food. Portions very big :)
