Woodview Coffee and Chip shop in Dacorum

Great pub great oldy worldy pub nice bunch of customer's who make you feel welcome. Good selection of beers shorts etc. Lots parking and in a great location. Great playing g field in front of the pub. There are shops nearby well worth a visit if your in hemel Hempstead can't wait to visit again.

Flaming and Mexican chicken pizza the best

This fish and chip shop is one to beat. Having fancied fish and chips on a Friday, I decided to try Mother Hubbards and so glad I did. The service I received yesterday on Friday evening was very smiley and welcoming, not to mention the food was enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back. Huge recognition to all 3 staff members, they were hard working and extremely kind which made my experience wholesome.

I ate the chicken burger in the Shakespeare Bar. One word comes to mind (see photo)..... underwhelming. Don't get me wrong - it was tasty. But just sad and cheap looking. Not worth the £15.50 charge. Main bar was full (mostly corporate group) so sat in side room. Chairs were then gradually removed by corporates for their gang so room was left almost empty of furniture. Not great! A disappointing dinner.

We arrived at 3.45pm on a Sunday afternoon hoping to get a light meal and were told the kitchen closes at 3pm, so that was that. They only had sausage rolls. These took the staff 10 mins to heat and when they arrived had been overheated and were very dry. Not a pleasing eating experience. I feel you should state more obviously that last orders are at 3pm. Also, your website states that you close at 4.30 on a Sunday. The shop opening times on the blackboard outside the shop states 4pm, so your website needs updating.
