Fantastic, good food & great staff. There was a problem with the card machine & the owner gave me my meal and said pay me back when you're passing. Then I was kindly lent a car to go to a nearby cash machine. Excellent place will definitely return.

Gem of a truck stop good nights sleep and very friendly helpful staff. Clean showers and hot hot water can’t comment on food had my own but it looked nice maybe a full English next time thanks for the safe secure stay guys deffo will be back

Partially gravel, monitored parking lot for approximately 30 trucks. Good food, although typically English. The restaurant is open from 5 p.m. You can pay in cash, card or SNAP

A bit long in the tooth def no frills but friendly helpful staff my fish was a bit over cooked. Parked clean and level

1st time here won't be the last. Can't say owt about the food, as I didn't try it. But the menu looks good. 😋 🚿 is spot on , possibly could do with another block. But it was clean and the water was piping hot. As for the owner and staff, very friendly. Thank you.

I turned up at 8.25pm as they were closing, got parked up, and was asked do want anything to eat. so the staff stayed behind and cooked me a dinner. I was totally blown away. carnt thank the woodside cafe enough, absolutely amazing service. thank you so much. oh and the meal was awesome.

Disappointed to see the owner refuse to let members of the armed forces use the toilet just because they were not going to eat in the cafe. Money over our boys?

Good cafe and also can park a truck up overnight but can get full by 8pm. Due to unfortunate circumstances breakfasts are no longer served but can still get an evening meal

Poza tym że jest dość siermiężne to jest sympatyczna atmosfera i warto tu przyjechać.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen. Die Parkplätze für LKW sind zwar begrenzt, dafür ist der Platz gut. Das Restaurant ist nur von Mittags bis abends um 20:30h geöffnet.

Can't fault Woodside. The owner is a cracking guy and always on hand if you need him. Food is superb (chips are amazing) but limited to takeaway due to Covid. Showers and toilets are spotless and you're guaranteed a good night's sleep as no fridge motor's run at night. 10/10 from me.

Cafe closed. Lorry Park full of foreign trucks. Toilets barely adequate, no hand soap in dispenser. Won't be going back. Sad because it was a great cafe, long established.

I made my first visit to this cafe on 09/03/2020. The opening hours are not as stated on Google. It closes at 1:30(?)pm and reopens at 5pm for the evening. I normally avoid fish & chips in cafes and restaurants, because I object to paying double for something that's inferior to the fare in chip shops. However, Woodside's fish & chips included mushy peas, two slices of bread & butter and a cup of tea for a very reasonable £7.14 AND was, if anything, BETTER than what the chip shops offer! ...A positive experience, so I'll return earlier one day, ASAP to try their breakfast. Google MEANIES won't let me upload a photo. 😦

Parking tani £10 , jest prysznic i WC kurzy się trochę bo plac nie jest w całości utwardzony , pub nieczynny w sobotę i w niedzielę . Obok jest Shell wolał bym tam stanąć ale szef kazał :) dobra ryba i frytki za £ 5.5 Wi-Fi działa

Jedynie 2 gwiazdki a powodem tej oceny jest teren parkingu, na którym są kratery chyba po spadających asteroidach. Miałem wrażenie że za chwilę wpadnę w taką dziurę, że spadając dolece do Chin. Poza tym łazienki są, prysznice są ale standard typowy dla UK czyli szału nie ma.

Really tasty bacon well cooked and crispy not that watery stuff other cafés warm up.... Delicious!!! Dinners are great as well lots of flavour in the meat and veg... Staff are really friendly... I always call in when im passing... Forget Mcdonalds get some real food!!!

Hi.woodside is a place I often visit when delivering to Selby or scunthorpe.good for over nite parking good clean showers toilets.food nice good variety. Comfortable seating area to eat in television. Yer all ok.

I had the steak pie. Decent price the portion was big filled the plate But... think they mocrowave it the meat was hot ish but the pastry was stone cold

It's a truck-stop, get over that and enjoy it. I've stopped here a couple of time after getting off the ferry from Rotterdam to Hull. Usually a decent crowd of us going in together on our way home. Staff cope fantastically well and the breakfast is brilliant. Would recommend.

I've been using woodside cafe for nearly 30 years and have never had a bad meal yet, I'll walk towards the door thinking I'll have poached eggs but always end up having a spam breakfast with beans (a No4) sometimes with extra spam! Highly recommend woodside staff friendly you always get a welcome and a thank you when you leave a family run business that's stood the test of time

If you're in the Goole area and in need of some food then make your way to the Woodside. Breakfast cooked freshly and sensibly priced. I've been using this cafe for years and have yet to find anywhere else that comes close to the food and service that you get here. Keith

Decent food, friendly staff, not too busy, showers are ok but the chequered steel floor in them is so cold it can be painful to stand on! Could do with a bit of a facelift in the cafe, feels very 1960's! Decent truck stop in all though.
